OK, maybe that's a little exaggerated. 
But I'll get back to that in a little bit.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Sarah, aka wdwgirl03. As you can tell from my DIS name (and my frequent trip reports) I am one of the biggest Disney fanatics you will ever meet. Take a look at my signature and you'll see all the Disney trips I've been fortunate to take over the years. If you count them all up, that means that this last trip was number 18. Crazy, right?!
Now back to the title. When you visit Disney World as often as we do, you're bound to encounter some, let's say, less-than-ideal weather. We've experienced the hot and humid summer weather, freezing temperatures in January (30 degrees in Florida somehow seems worse than 30 degrees in Wisconsin), and the occasional rain shower or thunderstorm. But usually those showers pass so quickly that you can quickly dodge into a shop/attraction or it's been warm enough where a little shower actually feels refreshing. Hence, no real need for a poncho. Well...not this time! I have to say on this trip we had more rain in one day than we've had in all our other trips combined. That's a lot of rain. Like two days of non-stop rain. And that is not an exaggeration. Kind of puts a damper on a visit to Disney World, both literally and figuratively.
BUT, regardless of the rain, we still had a great time. We got to try another new Vacation Club resort, ate at two new restaurants, and tried a couple new attractions (well, one was for me, not for my sister...was it Mission:Space??? Stay tuned to find out...
). Crowds were definitely manageable so we were able to do everything we wanted to. And we did have some nice weather too so it wasn't all dreary and rainy.

I'm here!
The 30th was ok, until late afternoon. The next day, well, we just can't talk about it. It's too painful. (seriously--we went to DHS for about 4 hours because the weather guy said it would clear up around 1, so we left at noon--my shoes were sopping wet as soon as I got off the bus, and I have a beautiful blister on my right foot, just below my toes).
