Just had my first phone interview at 8:35. I think it went pretty well as I catered alto to her questions with previous work experience and such. I was just wondering if anyone else had interviews that were shorter than anticipated. After I hung up i saw the call time at 16 minutes, is this a bad sign? Did anyone else have a quick interview but still get accepted?

I wouldn't call it necessarily bad. I have heard of people who had an interview that lasted as little as ten minutes, and they get accepted. So, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

I also had mine today. Mine was a little longer than yours (about 19minutes) but I didn't think there were many roles specific questions which worries me :sad1:. But I do think I answered the questions well.

Let's hope we both get in! :goodvibes: :grouphug:

When I had interviewed for WDW my interview was like 13 mins and they accepted me which surprised since they barely asked me anything opposed to when I interviewed for DLR it was 20 mins(accepted here and going here instead)

So I don't think time matters at all. As long as you answer the questions they do ask you the best you can, you should be fine. :)

I think they try to limit them to 15-20 mins on average. I've had 2 phone interviews both between those time frames.

My interview for WDW was around 15 minutes and for DL around 17, and I got into both so I wouldn't worry about it.

I was worried too. Mine was about that long, seemed as if my interviewer was rushing through the questions just trying to get the interview over with, AND focused most on the role I least wanted (of the 4 roles I checked, it was not the one I mentioned when she asked what my top 3 were).

BUT I then got an email only 10 days later with my acceptance AND for my top role of Merchandise. So don't be too worried. I was, and it wasn't necessary :)

My interview lasted 15 mins. And the interviewer was not perky like most people talked about in their interviews. Also i was too nervous to smile while talking so i thought that might be a factor too. So I was really worried that I bummed the phone portion. However, I was accepted after 2 weeks of it so it wasn't nothing to worry about.

As long as you don't stutter or say "uh/um" a lot you're going to be fine. The phone interview is super relaxed. (just talking in general not about you since you got in!)

my interview was 10 minutes and i got accepted 4 days later....so it doesnt mean anything how long you your interview was

Mine was 15 minutes, but the thing that worries me the most is that she didnt ask me what my top 4 roles were, even though I had 7 written down. Has this happened to anyone else

I have the same worry my interview was 13 min long and I had a ton of roles down, but was never asked top 3 or whatever. I got pending 2 weeks ago tomorrow... It isn't a no yet, so I am trying to stay positive :)

To those who talked about the role based questions:

My interviewer asked me vacation planner type questions. She really focused on my ticket selling experience for the school of music box office. I ended up getting attractions. So, don't worry. :)

I got my acceptance email on friday the 8th, so it was only a week after my interview. I got transportation, which was the role I wanted, even though she didnt ask me about my top choices.
