Can prepaid debit cards used for disney gift cards

I got some of those prepaid debit visa and mastercards from my work this year. I tried to use them to pay for part of my trip but they said they can only do 80% of balance of card. Don't really want to have small balances left on the cards that I then gotta try to use up. Does anyone know if I go to a Disney store in person if I could buy the gift cards. The reason the cm gave over the phone was my address didn't match, so thinking if I used in person that wouldn't be a problem.

Anyone ever did this?

I wonder if you tried calling the cust service # on back of the card would they let you change the address? Does it have your name on it? Try calling and see if they can help you. Otherwise you might have to do the 80% and then you might have enough left over for bkft at McD's.

When I get these I go to the Disney Store and put them on a Disney GC. It's a lot easier to use those at Disney than those visa/mastercard cards.

Do you ever have any trouble buying the gift cards at the Disney store? Do they let you do the whole balance of the debit card?

No problem. I tell them how much is left on the card and they apply that amount to the gift card. Sometimes there is someone new who doesn't know how to do it but they just get a manager.

Great! Thanks for the help. We didn't want to do that because they closed down the Disney store in the mall close to us, so now we gotta drive about 40 miles to next closest one and was worried about them not doing it there either.

Only in restaurants as they add the tip we had problems. Our Amex send us rewards cards that way and we never had any problem paying for lodging or at the stores.
