Dan, don't you have any pictures from a Bears game to post? We've got Cubs, we've got Blackhawks party. I don't have any because I've not been to a Bears game in over 18 years and I've not been to a Bulls game sinice Michael Jordan retired (for the second time).

sorry kathy, i havent been to a bears game since i was about 12...that was when my uncle was head of sales for a company that walter payton owned.

now he just buys and finds new land for the company.

those games were a ton of fun, we always had a 40 foot motor home, with at least 6 kinds of meats each game, tickets about 10 rows up from the 30 yard line.

also got a ton of bulls tickets from him back in the day, we were 4 rows up from the court where they came out of the locker room.


last bulls game i went to was row behind the bulls bench so that was fun, but didnt take the camera with me.

but i was on tv the whole game when they came to that end of the court.




also, marv may be coming up for a cubs game this year, if you are nice to us, we will tell you when so you can come to.

Just wanted to let you all know that I just made the choco frosting for a party we're having at our house right now, and it's FABULOUS!!!! Perfect consistency, not too sweet, and it made more than enough to frost a double layer 8 in. round. with some in the middle. THANKS, PAT!

What do you mean con Kathy into buying the tickets? Although maybe that would be a better idea because you both probably eat/drink too much and it will be cheaper to buy the tickets for the game.

Since the boys hadn't gone out the night before I had discussed with them meeting me the next morning to head out early for the Magic Kingdom. Even though we planned an early start, if we weren't quite there at rope drop we weren't too concerned. There wasn't all that much I wanted to do at Magic Kingdom this trip other than ride Space Mountain, which was closed the last time we were there, so I hadn't seen the new updates. The boys had stood in the Standby line the first night when we arrived, and they had talked about all the new activities you could now do while you waited in line.

I was still in the mode of relaxing and enjoying all of the decorations; managing to avoid the urge to go commando and see how much I could squeeze into a short time. My two favorite rides would still have to wait a little while longer until we visited the other parks. Alison was enjoying the rest and relaxation away from work, and still trying to recover from all of the riding we had done the past few days and a couple of late nights, so she had no interest in heading out early with us, which wasn't too surprising since she has never been much of a morning person.

I got up, got ready and dropped by the boy's room to see if they were ready to go yet. Drew and Jonathan had their showers and were ready, but Matt was still in the shower. I headed towards the lobby to take some early morning pictures and told them to meet me when Matt got ready to go. We were going to wait until we arrived at the park and grab something to eat there, using up some of our snack credits.

One of the wonderful things about Kidani is even when you don't have a Savanna view room there are plenty of opportunities to experience the animals. Here are a few I was able to see that morning.

After capturing a few of the animals, I took the opportunity to get a few more of the Kidani decorations.

It only took a few minutes wait when we saw this
