Who:

Hello and welcome to our second PTR for our fourth trip to the most Magical Place on Earth. There is something about Disney that just keeps pulling us back and this year is no exception as its a big one for us. First off we’re getting married in September, second we are going on our first ever cruise and a Disney one at that and thirdly we are staying 10 nights at our second home away from home.

I thought I would get us started with introductions.

This is me and my soon to be wonderful husband.

We are both Disney fanatics and have been coming to the World since 2007, although Dave has been once before when he was a wee little boy

This is my second PTR, my first one I started last year for our second trip back to the World. If you fancy reading about our past trips I have put the links below.

I’m Stephanie (but I prefer Stefy), a Disney convert/addict and proud of it.

My first trip was back in September 2007 and I fell in love with the place on my first sighting of Cinderella Castle. What keeps me coming back is not only the weather, food and Disney, but just the general overall magic of the place and the wonderful friendly people. I feel like when I am there I enter an entirely different world where things are happier and everyone gets along.

Favourite Character: Stitch

Favourite Film (Classic & Pixar): Beauty & the Beast & Monsters Inc

Favourite Park: Magic Kingdom and Epcot

This is the love of my life and soon to be husband David (he prefers Dave).

Like me he is a Disney addict and also very proud of it. His first trip was back in 1998, his aunt had gotten married in Florida and he was lucky enough to be invited along. He doesn’t remember much of that trip, but he does remember that he had a fantastic time and part of our love for visiting WDW is down to him as he was the one that suggested we try Florida for our holiday back in 2007.

What & Where:

So here’s the “What” part of the thread. This is a big year for us as we are getting married in September So we will be planning for that as well as for our Disneymoon too! Hope you don’t mind a bit of wedding now and then Let me break down the Title for you.

Wedding (Castle 1)
We are getting married in Lake Garda, Italy. Its in a little town called Malcesine and the venue is Malcesine Castle on the Rivellino Terrace.

Beautiful isn’t it? The big day is on Thursday September 8th at 5pm, followed by a Reception Dinner at the Risotrante Al Corsaro which is located just underneath the castle right by the lakeside. We are flying out a few days earlier, so will be there for a whole week. Hoping to get in a quick day trip to Venice the day after too (fingers crossed).

Then one week after that we will be flying off to Orlando, to start our Disneymoon.

Disneymoon (Castle 2 and Polynesian Dream)
Our Disneymoon is going to be one to remember. We start off by flying in to Orlando on the September 14th, where we are staying is still in discussion but its either at POFQ or somewhere near Port Canaveral as we are cruising for 3 nights concierge on the Disney Dream!!! This is our first ever cruise and we are so excited.

The Dream

After 3 glorious nights at sea we will arrive back in port on September 18th to then spend 10 nights at our new home from home Disney’s Polynesian Resort. After staying here last year we were caught hook, line and sinker for this place, so much so we cancelled our reservation for Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge for her. Here are pictures of the resort from our stay last year.

Gosh, two years?!? It feels like it wasn't that long ago I was reading your TR on your honeymoon and wedding
