My family will be staying here for the 1st time in April. Can you tell me which is the best building to request and why? My son is 7 and loves water slides and the lazy river so if somebody can tell me about them becuase I think there are 2 of each that would be great. Also can we see the fireworks from our room. Does the screen on the balcony make them hard to see? What else should I know, please fill me in. Does anybody have a good map of the resort? Bonnet creek did not have a good one.

Thanks everybody

Check out the "we loooooove bonnet creek" thread for lots of info.

I saw that thread but it is soooooo long that I was hoping to get a quick rundown here.

Building 5 has a lazy river and 6 has a slide and pirate pool. I think it is 3 that has the other slide and the main building has the other lazy river.

We liked 5 cause our kids liked that pool and LR the best and it was a quick walk to 6, which was there second favorite pool. Finally, building 5 is close to the parking deck which we needed one night when we got back late.

And I want to warn you that the pools are rough on the bottoms so if your kids do not have tough feet, get some swimmer shoes for them. Our kids had blisters after the first day and we made them wear socks the rest of the trip when they were in the pool

Also,

Depending on the room you get will depend on if you can see fireworks. Obviously lower floors won't be as likely to see fireworks due to obstructions, and some rooms are simply facing the wrong way.

also, there are not screens over the balconies. most balconies will have railings on 2 sides and a wall on the 3rd. (with a possible small gap that has a short railing on).
