Problems "enrolling" in Disney Visa 3x offer?

Anyone else ever had this problem? In January I received the 3x Chase Disney Visa bonus offer. I called the phone number to enroll on Jan 14th. I put enough on the card to max out the 100 pt. bonus in January. My statement closed on March 8th and no bonus points showed up.

Friday I called the Disney Visa customer service number and the rep checked my account and said there was no record that I had enrolled, so he enrolled me "now". He then said it would take another 1 or 2 billing cycles to get the bonus 100 points. He had no explanation about why the enrollment didn't go thru on Jan. 14th.

The only other time I got a bonus offer was over a year ago - that time I enrolled online and the same thing happened. No points showed up - I called - they had no record of me signing up. That was why I did it by phone this time, but the same thing happened again!

Anyone else ever had this happen & did your bonus eventually show up? I guess I'm nervous about the fact that if I wait until after the Apr 8th or May 8th statement and still don't have them, they will say "too late to enroll".

I've always enrolled online with no issues, other than that it takes a few billing cycles for the rewards dollars to show up. The regular points have always been right when my statement closes, but the bonus points have been a cycle or 2 after. Good luck getting your points!

For Oct - Dec my bonus showed up as follows

Oct - December
Nov - January
Dec - February

The bonus follows the calendar month, not your billing cycle. So, it going to seem a little screwy when they post.

Yes I was wondering the same thing..I signed up for the 3X offer but when I did I noticed irregular charges on my card(saw and post just that day about people putting small charges on card to check if it is noticed) and had to call and get card cancelled...when new card came I called and asked about the 3X offer being transferred to new card number and they said the offer was on new card...in Feb I charged alot and got statement March 8 also and no bonus. I am at Disney now so could not call so glad to here you had some success with getting the credit and that it just might not show up for a few months...thanks

We must've all signed up together. I got my bonus points this month (last week). I got 90 extra bonus points along with whatever bonus points I earned for each month. I actually thought it ended the end of March (Jan/Feb/Mar) so I was certainly surprised to see my rewards jump so high. I think my requirement was that I charge at least $1,000 a month for 3 months to qualify. I was afraid that one month would be $900 which would mean I would lose the bonus for the entire timeframe. The small print did say that you had to meet the requirement each month for 3 months in order to get the extra bonus of 3 times the bonus points (over $3000 during that timeframe). So maybe it was for Dec/Jan/Feb ???

I enrolled in Jan and didn't get the extra points for Jan yet, but I DID already get the extra for Feb. If Jan's don't show up by the end of March statement, I'll be calling.

Yes. If you must reach $1000 before the bonus, it is $1,000 each month. So if you spend $1,200 in January, $800 in February , & $1,500 in March. Then you get 12 regular & 4 bonus for January, 8 regular & 0 bonus for February, & 15 regular & 10 bonus for March. And remember that it is based on the calander month, not your billing cycle. It also will take at least one month before the bonus shows up. So if your cycle ends on the 8th of the month, your bonus will not show up before the March 8th statement.

I think I misunderstood n2mm. I thought n2mm was saying to get "any" points you must meet the requirement each month. So if my requirement is $800 and I spend $5800 in Jan. thereby maxing out bonus, I don't have to spend $800 in Feb. and March to get my bonus for Jan., correct? (I hope)

You can earn 3Xs in any or all 3 months. If you max out the monthly bonus in Jan, you will only get points for Jan. If you don't exceed your minimum in Feb and March you will only get the regular points for those months.

Correct each month stands alone. If you meet it one month but not the other two then you still get it for the month you meet the minimum on the purchases above the minimum.

OP- The same thing happened to me! I called twice and the re-enrolled me twice! I'm still not sure i'll see my bonus points on the next statement...very upset since we are about to leave on our trip!
