No split bath or privacy curtain isn't what I wanted to hear but thanks for posting :thumbsup2

I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems that the Dream is comprised of an almost random "hodge-podge" of rooms, some with split baths, some without. Some have tilted portholes, some don't. Some have poles smack-dab in the center, others don't. Some with this & that, others without.

I have a 9a gty booked for May, and I can honestly tell you I'm getting a little antsy & nervous to see what I end up with!!! :rotfl:

If at all possible, please see if you can take a look at 6016 (or grab a few pics). I was told by DCL that it had the pole, but there was a privacy curtain and that it did have a split bath.
Thank you.

I wouldn't hold out much hope as I was told today that 6514 had a split bath and that 6510 wasn't an accessable room :confused3

We had 6510 & 6512. 6510 has single large handicap bath, not split bath and NO poll. 6512 has no split bath, handicap bath and a pole.

We have booked 6514 for next year. I would love to see pics before I call DCL in an uproar! You mentioned no split bath, does it have the round tub? What about the pull down berth? It definitely looks big, but the other ammenities is why I chose that specific room.

Thanks for the info! Did you have any noise or vibration from Vibe? Did you feel a lot of motion in the forward rooms? Looking forward to seeing pictures...

just back from my b2b on the dream - we had rooms 6514 and 6510

Thank you so much for the pics of both rooms. So just to get this right 6510 is handi and 6514 is not.
I have two deck plans.....the first shows handi for 4 rooms (6012, 6014, 6510, 6512) leaving only 6016 and 6514 as standard room (on deck 6).......while the second deck plans show only 1 handi room 6014 on deck 6.
But your pics clearly show 6510 as handi, which was on the older deck plans, unless they've got an 3rd version out now?

I'm booked on the Fantasy for May 2012 (7 night eastern) in room 6016 (8A). When I changed to that room from 6514 (8C) a month ago, that was based on the 5520/5522 8A pics on Deck 5 that shows the split-room design with the dividing wall. Now since we have your pics of 6514 (non-handi), we can assume that all of them on Deck 6 are open-rooms without the dividing wall, and the non-handi rooms have the support beam in the middle.

I'm not sure if I like this layout of room 6514, compared to 5520/5522 with the dividing wall. I take it 6514 did not had the 2-split bath? (The other people said the 5520/5522 only had 1 and showed in the pics) Did 6514 have the round shower/tub or the regular rectangle shower/tub? Also, based on the location of the TV on the side wall next to the door in 6514, it doesn't look like you'd be able to view it much from the bed, since it would be blocked by a half-wall with the blue picture on it. The TV in room 6510 (handi) does seem more viewable from bed as there's nothing blocking it.

I'm not crazy about the desk being right in the middle of the two port holes (6510/6514) and blocking them some. Also, that desk isn't full-length like the ones in 5520/5522 and other cat-8 rooms, so I'm guessing it doesn't have has much storage space.

Curiousier and Curiousier! Would love to see pics! *subtle* hint! :rolleyes1

I also went and knocked on the door of 6016 and asked to look at their cabin and they graciously said yes, and it was exactly like 6514 (my cabin)

I never saw into 6512 but it is also a handicap most likely because it had the key reader and a door bell on the side of the door. No door bell on the non-handicap and the key reader is on the door. In my picture of the door you can see what I mean - and 6512 was like the door of 6510.

Thanks again for all the help!
So 6016 and 6514 on the Dream are twins, both have the support beam, and one bath with the standard shower (not round). So most likely the Fantasy will be the same way, unless they redesign some things. Since I doubt that would happen, and I'm booked on the Fantasy 6016 next year, I now pretty much see what the room will look like. Did you happen to take any pictures inside your bathroom in 6514? Just want to judge how big/small it may be. Also, would you book the 6514 8A again, or go with an 8B-8D that has the split bath with round shower?

The only Dis cruise I went on was back in 2007 for a 3-night. We had a mid-ship room with a balcony, which I only went out there for maybe 30 minutes the entire time. My problem with that room was that everything felt cramped together. I'm 6'4" and had almost no room in either part of the split-bath, and when using the shower I felt like I was in a small closet. That's why I was looking forward to the new round shower design, since it looks like it has more room. But I do like the "double-wide" rooms on the 8A. Just can't figure out 2 things...1)why the ones on deck 5 have the wall partition but the ones on deck 8 have the beam, and 2) why they didn't use the round shower or split-bath on any 8As.

Thanks Krisann for posting. I have 6514 booked in September. Question for ya. Does the TV swivel out for a better view for the kiddos if they are sitting on the couch? The TV on the wall and not having a split bathroom is not cool but I'm gonna have to make the best of it. Thanks again!
