PhotoPass pre-order and shipping

I've seen that it's included, and that it's added when you finalize the order. I've also read that you can get a promocode for free shipping now that the pre-order is a credit in your acct and not a coupon code itself.

But, all this was in rather old threads. I'm guessing that the policy changes. What's the current policy, and if the shipping charge is added at the end, how much is it?

Ours is in June...I hate to spend $100 right now if I can wait until the day before we leave for our trip to order it....
anyone know if this $99 preorder price is ALWAYS good and been a "thing" or is this new and I should jump on it ASAP before its gone??

all these little things are sure adding up my cc bills!!!!

From reading old posts, it seems like they had it, discontinued it, and then reintroduced it. It did tell me when I ordered yesterday that the credit does not expire. So you probably could wait, but you could also buy it now in case it disappears again and the credit will last until your trip.

Thanks! I pre-ordered yesterday, and wanted to tell everyone in my group their total, but I didn't know if I should add in shipping. If it's only $3, I'm not worried about splitting it. I'll hope to find a coupon code and if not, I'll just pay it myself.

I ordered mine yesterday for our October trip. This way I have peace of mind knowing I paid $99 and not $149

The pre-order price seems to have been in place since at least 2007 which is the first time I used it and every year since. I know there was a brief time that it was basically by invitation only, but there really doesn't seem to be a reason to buy this 3-6 months in advance.

So, as soon as you place your order your credit card is charged the $99.95 right??
And i know you can cancel it after you upload your photos and decide you don't like them...but can you cancel BEFORE you even have any photos taken?? Like if your trip gets cancelled or something?

And also...the adding borders and little cute things on the prints...you do that before you order the cd?? like straight from their site??

If my SIL and I are splitting the cost...after our trip...can we both go home and log in (share my password and stuff w/her) and decorate the photos we want...so that both of us are getting exactly what we want on the cd?? We live 20 hours apart, so we are just meeting up for the vacation and won't see eachother again until Christmas.

Also, if there are prints that you want in 5x7 or 8x10, format to the correct size that you wish to print ahead of time on the photopass site to be correct on the CD. Otherwise your border/embellishment might be cropped off.

I order Photopass for my December trip last year. Once I was finished with my picture editing, I ordered the CD. I wasn't charged any shipping.
