Okay, lets get this party started!!!!

Okay, for the few weeks leading up to our trip MIL kept saying she wanted to stay an extra day. Me, eh. I guess so! She actually called Disney the week of to book a room for Sunday night. That way she said we could drive down Sunday around lunch and then rest that night and have all day to rest on Monday. Well, that Saturday she told Chad that she would be at our house at 10 am. I finally finished my packing that Saturday night. I put all the luggage in the living room. That Sunday morning I woke up and got Hollie and Hannah ready. We were gonna go to my parents house to visit for a while and take the Rusty (our dog) to stay with them. So, we left around 8:30 that morning so we could visit. Around 9:30, Chad called and said his mom was almost at our house. WHAT!!! He said she told him she said we would leave at 10, not be there at 10. About this time, Hannah got hungry so I stayed to feed her. We visited with my parents for a bit longer then left out. We got back to our house around 10:30. MIL pretty much had most of our stuff packed in the car. We all rode down in their Yukon.
Funny story, she kept telling me not to pack too much stuff that we wouldn't have room. Oh puh lease!!!! That thing is HUGE!!! Well, after I parked Chad's truck in the garage (scary!! I have already hit the wall and the garage door with his truck). I loaded up Hannah in Yukon. Then Hollie got in her seat. Then.....I looked at my seat! Oh my sweet niblets! I was in the very back, which was fine, but that seat was so packed up!! lol! There was literally only room for just me back there. I went into the house to check everything and to make sure I turned off my straightener (Apparently I didn't look good enough!! hint hint). Chad was checking things and I grabbed our pillows and waited at the bottom of the stairs for him. The alarm was turned on and out the door we went!

The ride was pretty uneventful. Hollie watched Alice in Wonderland (OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!! Que Helena Bonham Carter screaming) about 3 times!!

Hannah slept off an on.

She did get a little ill sitting in that carseat for so long. We stopped at Dunkin Donuts for coffee (well for Chad and MIL). Later on down the road we stopped at Dennys to eat a quick lunch. Then again at McDonald's so MIL could get a drink. The only other time we really stopped was at the Florida rest stop and it had just closed!! We always love to stop there so I can get a billion brochures!

We did not stop anymore after that! Hollie eventually fell asleep

Finally, finally, finally!! We saw this!!!

They are horrible but I was in the very back and I was practically throwing myself up front!! lol

We finally made it here too!!

We check in and get the building we LOVE 50's Lady and also get ground floor rooms! Yay!!!

We get everything in the room and then I unpack our bags. It was around 10:30 at this time. So, we were all in the bed by 11 that night.

I am gonna stop here so I can make sure all my pics are uploaded.

But....TOMORROW THE DRAMA BEGINS FOLKS!!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!

We're from GA, too, and we love Pop Century! Per DD5's request, for the trip we're planning now (see PTR), we requested the 50's Lady building...fingers crossed! We've stayed "behind Tramp's head," and she wants to try out the other dog building.

I am so excited to read a trip report with lots of drama (and a MIL...we've got one in tow, too!).

Day 1 is started! And let the MIL drama begin!

Alice in Wonderland is such a good movie. And it's quite a good length, so it probably kept Hollie entertained! I love that pic of her like "Quit taking my picture MOM!"

Aw, Hannah is so cute!! I was wondering how she'd do in the car. Glad it went well!

Ahh! I just love driving under the WDW gates!! And pulling up to Pop!! Well, with this update, all the live updates from Jill and MeMom, I am having some major WDW blues!! Especially since we're probably not going to make it there this year.
