This thread has been great and has already answered a couple of questions that I had! I do have a couple of other things I'd like to know though:

For the Luau Beach location, is the ceremony right on the beach--in the sand?

For our photographs, I would like to be able to get a CD with all our photos on it. I can't seem to find any info about it though. Is this possible and if so, does anyone know how much it would cost?

Thanks!

Thank you so much for uploading all that information! You ladies are the best!!!
It is so great to be able to see what we will be getting.

What is the 24 picture 8x8 photo album like for $65( anyone)? Seems like a great deal but quite a difference in price from the other packages.
I would do it for that amount.

Thanks again.

DUH!!! It just dawned on me....... its just the album!!!!:lmao:

For $65 I would still get it.

We had our Memories Vow Renewal and October and were told that the CD was not available for purchase with the Memories Collection:sad1:. I'm curious to hear if anyone else gets a different answer down to road as I might still be interested in buying it. Although I already spent a small fortune in prints just in case so not sure if it'd still be in the budget for us...maybe!

We got this - it is a hardcover photobook similar to one you'd order from Shutterfly. I was really happy with how ours came out - I thought the quality was very good. We ended up adding additional pages and I think in the end had about 40 or so pictures in the book.

I am a little confused over the photography options :confused3, does anybody know if it is ok if one of my guests video tapes the wedding ? we want to have it for a small reception on our return, and the 750.00 for the videography is a little over our budget for just a video, plus we just wanted one of the ceremony, not all movied up (although they are beautiful)

but I love the bright and bold bouquet! that's my choice for sure.

About the album.... did you buy the book and then insert your own photos or do you buy it, select the pictures from the web site and they put them in for you?

Flowers: I'm a tad disappointed that red roses are not a option but some of the bright colored bouquets are really beautiful. I like the orange rose and lily and the bright and bold. Decisions, decisions!!!

Thanks so much for posting the package disney gives you at booking. I'm going with the roses and hydrangeas bouquet in light blue and white. My dd is going to carry a hydrangea pommander. My twins 1 will carry balloons. Do you think the florist can get me those?

I like the idea of that 24 image 8x8 book too. $65 seems quite reasonable. I figured we'd just use my sister's pictures but if that book is of good quality I'll go with that.

My up theme is coming together. I've ordered grape soda pins for everyone. I even managed to find mini grape soda bottlecap earrings for myself. DD and I are going to wear silver sequined (promise they are subtle) Minnie ears. As I've said the babies will carry balloons and I have a cake designed. The Etsy artist said she can make my Carl and Ellie cake topper. I'll add it to the cake we have at the Garden View Lounge with our tea following the ceremony.

My parents want to come, but that would put us at 7 guests. Does Disney ever allow one extra person? They say they don't have to come to the ceremony that they will just meet us after for tea. We really don't want to upgrade to an Escape package. Just want to keep it simple. Anyone have an answer on this?

I know we are doing some crazy things with the ears, pins and balloons, but since it is a VR I wanted it to be fun not serious. The children will probably even wear shorts and colourful shirts, instead of dressing up. Everyone wants to be comfy. DH is wearing shorts and a golf shirt, but I'm going to wear my original wedding dress. Still fits even after dd and twins.:woohoo:

I think your idea's sound so much fun ,it's going to be fantastic! unfortunatly Disney is very strict about their maximum amount of people, I was hoping that the off chance my sister and family were able to make the trip that there was someplace they could watch from, away from the direct ceremony. I also make plans for them to meet us at Kona afterwards

That's what I thought. My parents don't mind meeting us afterward. The ceremony is only fifteen minutes, so not a big deal really. They'll still get to see us all and enjoy the tea following.

Thank you SO much for the pictures of all the flowers, this just made my day! Now, I cant decide if I like the Oragne roses and lilies option, or the bright and bold...I just dont like the green spider mums..they throw me off lol

Someone also asked if you do the luau beach location if the wedding is right there in the sand. Anyone know? Also, is it private? I know that Narccossees landing is not very private due to the ferry. Which is a bummer, b/c I think that would make for a great location.

Does anyone else plan on bringing there own decorations. Can I bring my own flowers(silk) and make a rose pedel design. I feel that I could do it fo cheaper. What about any other decorations if we do Luau beach?

The Luau Beach Location is right there in the sand, where the catamaran is (they move it, apparently). You can see it in this picture, as well as how close the public path is to the site. However, this is not a well-traveled path. Any time I've ever been on it, it was rare to encounter even one other person.

Also, You can't use silk petals at outdoor locations—only real or freeze-dried ones.

Well, this is going to be interesting, seeing as how I have my heart set on both having our ceremony at the Poly AND getting all dressed up for it.

I do believe we had a Memories Collection Bride who married this past Saturday...I forgot her name, does anyone know who it is? I am interested to hear all about it!

Has anyone had a problem getting the date they want? I'm hoping that won't be an issue when we call in April for our October wedding.:worship:

I made my first call to DFTW almost exactly 6 months from our wedding date and there was no one else on that day. We had a free choice of all the times. So, I wouldn't worry to much about getting your date or time. Good luck!!

We picked the 9am time slot at Luau Beach on August 7th. . . and today, my planner, Vita, just booked our DHS bridal Shoot for August 8th!!:woohoo:

And. . .I also just booked our officiant, Teresa Knox! Things are falling in place. . .but I still have so much to do! I can't wait! :lovestruc

Thanks, we plan on a 10/8 a.m. ceremony @ Conch Key Marina. We've already booked 2 nites @ GF. We had made arrangements for a week @ the Swan (where we usually stay) when I stumbled on the Memories Collection. We never thought we could afford a Disney wedding, & we want it 2B just the 2 of us. So we will stay @ GF for wedding, then have our week @the Swan as planned, except 4 our honeymoon! I'm just starting on the planning, so I look forward 2 all (you all) have 2 share. We live in Wisconsin so we have to arrange every from a distance.
