A WISH for Cold Tea? Ana's aMAWzing Disney Trip! 12/1-12/7 ~Last Entry~ p.127

Love the banana phone! LOL!

The dolphin show looks amazing! And feeding and petting the dolphins - what a veryyyyyy cool experience. It really makes me want to go to Sea World even more. I didn't realize they had coasters too! I'm thinkin' Joe would like it more than he thinks he would.

I highly doubt I'll be done in 4 days. :surfweb: Aren't you gonna have internet access in that upscale hotel you are staying in? :lmao:

 yes, yes, we have internet! (and bonus - it's free!) but DISing will be the problem, Epcot is around the corner, I'll be a bit distracted! :woohoo:

I am so happy you are posting your sea world day now. I really can't find a lot of info on Sea world. I can't wait to see some of the shows and see dolphins! I also can't wait to hear more

Kristin, you are right. We have a couple of those at Great America. I believe it is either King's Island or Cedar Point in Ohio that has some very similar. My oldest made me do one of them and that was the LAST time you got me on one. I won't even do Rock & Roll anymore. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Cedar point ahs the Rapture. It hangs, but it doesn't tilt you in flying mode. It is my favorite ride there, but I haven't rode it in several years now.

Hey, btw, I noticed Pat needs a little Irish luck; can someone help her find some Shamrocks??

Thanks guys.

I went to Sea World in San Antonio and got to ride one of their massive coasters. Steel Eels. I love coasters and will try any coster once and I screamed the whole way. It was dark and we ran over there right before it closed down- they close down the rides before the park :confused3- so i did not get a chance to see what I was getting on. I was caught off guard but had a blast.
We have a laying down one called Night hawk maybe - it used to be the Borg before they dropped teh Paramount from Carowinds.

I love the banana phone- I thought of the same song-
Great show and that you got to feed the dolphins.

Tim, The photos are amazing! You did a wonderful job capturing the show, I want your camera! HOW did you ever manage to get the shot of the trainer standing on the dolphin?
I was just thinking I needed a new camera.. :lmao:

I think I was lucky to get that pic. :lmao:

I Loved seeing Juliana feeding those BEAUTIFUL dolphins...they are gorgeous, but don't hold a candle to your pretty ladies, I loved the photo of all of you at GKTW (second one in after Ana had the important phone call) :lmao: That is awesome that you had "tour guides" and company to help you around and that coaster...WILD! Did it hurt your back (asks the old lady) :rotfl2: The cousins in the aquarium are too cute!
We had a great day at SW and it was great we had our tour guides with us!

The coaster didn't hurt at all. It just made me dizzy. :rolleyes1

I have one thing more to say...What do you mean you skipped the girts???? :scared1: This southern lady says if you don't like grits, you simply haven't had them cooked properly to enjoy! Come on down to NC and I will fix you some that will turn you into a convert. Just ask my hubby, he HATED them when he met me...or so he thought...:lmao:
RUT ROH!!!! Look what I started! :lmao:

If I am ever in your neck of the woods I will stop by to try your famous grits. :thumbsup2

I agree, your photos are like post cards. Whats the camera again?
It is a Sony H5. I think I've had it for about 4 years now.

How cute Juliana and her cousin are together. I take it he was feeling much better from your previous meeting with them. Wow, I'm surprised that the oldest didn't want to feed the dolphin. I totally would've enjoyed that.
Thanks for reminding me about this... I will add what happened in my next update.... Basically, he had the nasal flu mist the day before we met them. He threw up once on the way to GKTW then he was done. (Short Version;))

Ha-ha, the Manta. Can I tell you everytime I drive past Sea World and see people on the ride I swear I can hear them. Or maybe it's because I'm sitting there pretend screaming along. LOL, the fiancee thinks I'm crazy when I do it but I have fun. :rotfl:
You know even though I was dizzy, I would ride that again. and again. :lmao:

LOL It must be nice!!

Great photos Tim!!
love the "phone call" and aquarium shots!
Thank you!

my DH would of been all over those coasters too, me not so much! good thing you didn't lose your breakfast :lmao:
I have a pretty strong stomach. ;)

I wish your DH could enjoy those coasters...

so great Ana got to feed the dolphins, its a fun thing to do! (I'm taking Megan to Discovery Cove on our trip, can't wait to experience swimming with the dolphins)
Oh how cool!!!! I'm sure your DD will love being able to swim with the dolphins!!!! :goodvibes

Dolphins are cool.:cool2: I'm glad she got a chance to feed and pet them. Even better, I'm glad she went through with it and enjoyed it rather than being scared of them.
I wasn't too sure how she was going to react but she loved feeding them. :goodvibes

That was very nice of the moms to give you a little solo time to hit the big kid rides.:thumbsup2 I love rollercoasters but have never been on one of them that lays you on your stomach like that. It looks like a lot of fun. We may have to make our first visit to Sea World sometime so I can check it out...
The coaster was a cool experience. This was the first one I've been on that rotated like that. I didn't even know it did that when I got on it. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

This guy just seemed appropriate: . LOL. I just love that pic of Ana and her banana phone. That will be one of those good pics for when she's older. :thumbsup2

Wow, that looks like it was such a great experience with the dolphins! How neat for all of you!

You are brave riding that rollercoaster!! RnRC is pushing it for me.

Do not attempt to hit the 'snooze' button. That's child abuse. :rotfl2:
:lmao: Yea, that wouldn't be good! :sad2:

I hate to break it to you, Tim, but she's just pretending to make a call. You can tell because the banana is upside down.
Wow, you are very observant!!! I didn't notice that! :thumbsup2

Did you make them wear funny "tour guide" hats? I would have.
No, but they were holding a long stick with a flag on it. :confused3

Wow, remember the old days when you had to actually wait to watch the weather on the local news? Or sit around through 4 commercials for them to read it on the radio. Heck, the other day I checked the newspaper for the weather - the map they had printed there was like 14 hours old!
No, I don't remember that.... probably because I am only 22 years old. HA! Is it kinda like texting someone 100 times just so you can find a spot to meet? :rolleyes1

That show looks pretty cool! Great pictures!
Thanks!

Me too! Last time we were at the local pool, I had each kid grab a foot and drag me through the shallow end while I scooted along on my butt. I was kind of the same, but not really.
Got any video? popcorn::

Awesome! We go to do this a few years ago - the kids loved it. And as an added bonus - your hand smells like dead fish the rest of the day!
You are on a roll today! :lmao::lmao: (no hotdog)

I haven't done Manta yet, but Six Flags Great America near Chicago has a similar ride - Superman. It's really cool and makes you feel like you're really flying! Do you get wet on manta? I heard you get pretty close to the water.
I think most of the water features were shut off because of the cool temps, although it was pretty warm on Sunday (12/5). There is a part that you 'fly' right near the water.

Great update, Tim. We've not been to Sea World since Andy and Mark were probably around 9 and 7. I think the next time we are in Disney for a long period of time as opposed to only four or five days, we will have to get back.
Look at me!!! I'm making you spend more money!!!! :lmao:

You can just see the excitement in Ana's face as she was feeding the dolphins. And how nice that they gave free fish to her cousins as well.
She had a blast feeding them.. I wish I bought a couple extra containers of fish for her.

As for your roller coaster trips -- glad it was you buddy and not me. Nope, too darn old to handle those. I would have been on my way to the hospital after that first one. :lmao:
LOL awwww.. I thought you liked RnRC????

anaonphone.jpg
LOL Thanks!

I love Sea World! Granted, I haven't been to the one in Florida yet......:rolleyes1. DH wants to spend all of our time in Disney, go figure.

Well, you have a great DH!!! It was a nice change of pace and the crowds were basically non-existant.

Ana looks like she had a blast feeding the dolphins! Hooray for her being able to pet them!
The trainer was really nice getting the dolphins to stay still for a minute so she could pet them.

Coaster drunk, huh? Not something that usually happens on Disney coasters.:lmao:
No, not at all. :rotfl2:

Loved the Dolphin pix !!!Judy is a huge Dolphin lover !!When we were at Seaworld we had a hard time getting her out of the Dolphin Cove:rotfl2:

RING, RING, RING, RING, BANANA PHONE!!!

There's a flash video floating around the internets, where this guy goes crazy after hearing the Raffi song "Banana Phone" but no one else can hear it but him. It has some profain language so I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to post a link here. However anyone who wants to see it just search "Banana Phone Flash Video". I thought of this as soon as I saw this picture. Here is the song though Banana Phone by Raffi, which doesn't have any dirty words, it's a kids song actually, it's by the same guy who sings the Baby Baluga song.
I had to youtube it.... LOLOL

Is this the Alpha Dolphin??? I think this is the biggest Dolphin I've ever seen.
There were a few different species of dolphins in the show. I don't remember which one that is but it was really BIG!

AWWWW, how awesome that you guys got the feed the Dolphins!!!! Hopefully you can get that video working. I'd love to see it.
I took a 20 second video with my camera then I shortened it to 15 sec and now it won't upload... I will post it if I can get it to work. ::yes::

We have a coaster just like this at our local Six Flags - Great America called Superman. It's a really cool coaster, like you said, way different sensation than a regular sit down coaster. However, I always freak out when we're going up for the first drop. I always feel like I'm going to fall. Once the coaster gets going I'm ok though. Kathy probably knows what coaster I'm talking about since she grew up in the Chicagoland area like me.
I think our Six Flags has a Superman coaster too. I just haven't been there in years.... popcorn::

Awesome update with loads of great pictures!
Thanks!!!

That coaster looked well, I just don't know how I'd have done. It might have gotten "messy".
EEEEEEEwwwwwwwwww :lmao:

Feeding dolphins looked SOOOOOO cool. I know Anara would love that- what little kid (or adult) wouldn't??
She really had a ball doing it. I had a ball watching her. :)

So, did Ana learn "banana phone" on her own? or did Daddy teach her?
That was all her! Seriously!!! ::yes::

I won't even do Rock & Roll anymore.
See... I knew you have ridden RnRC before. :goodvibes

Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?
I don't miss those commercials.. :sad2:

Great picture, except for that ugly shirt you're wearing.
Oh, you like it!

Must you even ask? Pyrotechnics!
DARN IT! That would of made it better! :lmao:

Better you than me! I hear for their next "thrill" ride, they're just going to line people up to have them jump off a building.
I'd do that as long as I don't die!

Sea World look amazing. Their show are always enjoyable to watch. Especially when you are an animal lover....:rotfl: Feeding the dolphins look like so much fun.
We really had an enjoyable day at SW..

I would say the kids loved feeding the dolphins but it was only Ana who liked it! :lmao:

Nice update Tim. We visited Sea World back in '05 and my kids got to feed the dolphins too -- they loved it.
It was a great experience for Juliana.... all the other kids around us were having a ball too.

Where can I get one of those banana-phones? Is that just a GKTW thing?
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think you can find one in the 1st isle of your local grocery store. ;)

Love this! Visions of the future...

We call these "Rehearsal Dinner Photos"! Have a whole file of them to embarass the kids with at their Wedding Rehearsal dinner
I should make a folder now... I have no idea how I will narrow these down though. I have so many already! :lmao: She is gonna kill me. :scared1:

Great update Tim! Or should I say Timmy? Got that from Kathy!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Love this sweet pic of Ana with her banana phone! She looks very into her conversation, who was talking to? Cinderella?
It could of been Pink Cinderella actually... that is one of her imaginary friends! princess: :lmao::lmao:

Whoa, you took some excellent pics of the dolphin show!:thumbsup2 This is a dolpin? I thought it was a baby whale! He's huge!
There are 32 different species of dolphins... I forgot the name of this one, but YEAH it was big!

I love that Ana was fearless while feeding the dolphins! What a special thing to be able to do. She looks adorable feeding them.
Awww thanks!

Ok dude, that coaster looks AMAZING! I soooo would've gone on it! DH and I love unique coasters like that one. We pretty much go on everything and now my girls love coasters too. In San Diego, they have a coaster called Journey to Atlantis that is part coaster, part water ride. It was cool but kinda tame.
So on your next Disney trip add a day and spend some time in SW. :thumbsup2

Years ago, I went on that Batman coaster at Six Flags NJ and thought it was incredible because you hang under the track. Now that Manta one you did, wow! I'm sure I'd have been a tad dizzy too afterward. Did you see anyone puking? Very fun that you were able to ride a couple of thrill rides while there.:thumbsup2 Looks like another fabulous day for you all. And I love Ana's outfit, was it one of the Big Give presents?
No puking... I got a few thrill rides out of the way. That made up for me missing RnRC. :)

Looking forward to the rest of Seaworld, although I have a tiny fear of sharks so I hope you're not planning to include pics of them!
ummmmmmmm

Molly, Tim may feed you to the sharks for calling him timmy

:lmao:
LOL, Tim can't touch Molly - too many people will go after him for that. :rotfl:
Oops, I'd better go back and edit that out before Timmy sees it!

Thanks Crissy.:goodvibes I didn't realize he didn't like "Timmy"! Although, knowing that kinda makes me want to keep using it...:rolleyes1:laughing:
You guys are too funny!!!!! Sharks you say? OK! Coming up in the next update!!!!! :fish:

luvin the pic of the two kiddies in the fish tank lol!
Thanks! I missed the aquarium because I was out on the Big Boy rides! :lmao:

looks like a fun SW day so far...i went on the superman ride at Six flags like that...many that was a weird feeling going down the first hill and into the loop

like you said dizzy city after that

so prob. wasnt a good move to make that our first coaster of the day, didnt help the other rides much.
I have to check to see if our 6 Flags has Superman..

Lucky for me, it was my first ride of the day and I was fine... besides walking zig-zag to the next coaster! :lmao:

Love the banana phone! LOL!
Hello? Hello! Do you like my hat? I do not like your hat. Good bye. Good bye.

The dolphin show looks amazing! And feeding and petting the dolphins - what a veryyyyyy cool experience. It really makes me want to go to Sea World even more. I didn't realize they had coasters too! I'm thinkin' Joe would like it more than he thinks he would.
Well if you ever happen to take a 2 week trip to Orlando, you should pop over there for a day. :rotfl::rotfl:

yes, yes, we have internet! (and bonus - it's free!) but DISing will be the problem, Epcot is around the corner, I'll be a bit distracted! :woohoo:
I hear ya!!!!! I know you will have an amazing trip.... the 7 day weather looks GREAT!!!! :thumbsup2

I am so happy you are posting your sea world day now. I really can't find a lot of info on Sea world. I can't wait to see some of the shows and see dolphins! I also can't wait to hear more
I don't think I will get to another update tonight but I am hoping to finish out this day tomorrow. :surfweb:

More SW coming up soon. ;)

Thanks guys.
:flower3: No problem!

I went to Sea World in San Antonio and got to ride one of their massive coasters. Steel Eels. I love coasters and will try any coster once and I screamed the whole way. I was caught off guard but had a blast.
We have a laying down one called Night hawk maybe - it used to be the Borg before they dropped teh Paramount from Carowinds.
Cool! I'll ride any coaster.. I love them. Bungee jumping.. now that's a little different.

I love the banana phone- I thought of the same song-
Great show and that you got to feed the dolphins.
Someone needs to sing the banana phone song to me.... :lmao:

Thanks!

This guy just seemed appropriate: . LOL. I just love that pic of Ana and her banana phone. That will be one of those good pics for when she's older. :thumbsup2
She was being a nut!(which by the way is a daily and sometimes hourly thing!!)

Wow, that looks like it was such a great experience with the dolphins! How neat for all of you!
It was really fun. I wonder if Juliana would want to swim with them? I guess she would have to actually have to be able to swim though.:confused3 :rotfl2:

You are brave riding that rollercoaster!! RnRC is pushing it for me.
RnRC is nothing compared to those 2 coasters in SW. :rotfl:

Loved the Dolphin pix !!!Judy is a huge Dolphin lover !!When we were at Seaworld we had a hard time getting her out of the Dolphin Cove:rotfl2:
Maybe you should of bought her a BUCKET of fish!!!! :yay: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Love your pictures. SW was one of our favorite days on our trip. We can't wait to go back. :cloud9:
Thanks for giving me the heads up (or should I say down) about Manta. Checking that off our to do list right now :scared1:

Love your pictures. SW was one of our favorite days on our trip. We can't wait to go back. :cloud9:
I will get to this in the report but here is a little spoiler.... I wanted to go to the sea lion show but I totally forgot about it. We were having so much fun talking and just doing what we wanted with no plan that we missed it. I guess it is a good reason to go back. :thumbsup2

Thanks for giving me the heads up (or should I say down) about Manta. Checking that off our to do list right now :scared1:
Hey, that's not fair! :headache:

You have to RIDE it before checking it off! :lmao::lmao:

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

It could of been Pink Cinderella actually... that is one of her imaginary friends! princess: :lmao::lmao:

No puking... I got a few thrill rides out of the way. That made up for me missing RnRC. :)

You guys are too funny!!!!! Sharks you say? OK! Coming up in the next update!!!!! :fish:

Uh oh, I've angered Tim! He's actually growling at me!:scared:

Pink Cinderella? She's too stinking cute! I love it! It's not just Cinderella, it's "Pink" Cinderella. My oldest DD11 had an imaginary friend when she was 4 too, she named her cereal.:confused3

RnRC is a great ride! I wish it was longer and had more loops though. After that first inital take-off, it's sort of tame. But a great ride none the less! Glad you were able to take in some thrill rides at SW.:thumbsup2

Ok, what if I apologize for calling you Timmy?:guilty: Then will you NOT post shark pics? Please?:flower3: Unfortunately my brilliant parents saw nothing wrong with me seeing Jaws at 6 years old and well, my phobia kind of grew from there! I was terrified to swim in my own pool for awhile because I was certain that a great white was going to rise up from the deep end! So you can see, it's a real fear.

I try not to be an enabler :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
SUUUUURRREEE YOU DON'T!!!

Uh oh, I've angered Tim! He's actually growling at me!:scared:
I'll sick my attack dog on you!!! :dog2:

Pink Cinderella? She's too stinking cute! I love it! It's not just Cinderella, it's "Pink" Cinderella. My oldest DD11 had an imaginary friend when she was 4 too, she named her cereal.:confused3
LOL That's funny! At least your DDs had a real name... Juliana has a few imaginary friends... Acky, Acky Lacky, Renty Centy, & Pink Cinderella. :rotfl:

I don't know where Renty Centy has been recently though? :confused3

RnRC is a great ride! I wish it was longer and had more loops though. After that first inital take-off, it's sort of tame. But a great ride none the less! Glad you were able to take in some thrill rides at SW.:thumbsup2
I got my fix! :cool1:

RnRC is my favorite ride in all of WDW!

Your parents really stuck it to ya! :sad2:

How about I post a few pics and you skip over that part... ::yes::

OH my goodness, what an amazing trip you all were having. I'm finally all caught up again. I'm at work, lol, what a great time to catch up on the DIS :rotfl2:

Prayers for Ana tomorrow at her check up.
