Thanks for posting these photos! I am in room 8502 on the 8/7/2011 sailing and my TA had told me that there was a privacy curtain in the room but from your pics it looks like there isn't one. Can you confirm this?

Great trip report! Thanks so much for all these great details. I am a planner, and I love the pictures! Getting more and more excited for our first cruise in July. I have a dumb question about the navigators. Do they give you all the navigators for the whole cruise all in one folder at the beginning of the cruise or do you get them each day? Do I have to go somewhere to get them or are they delivered? I know it's a silly question, but you are so detailed, I figured you could help me with it. Thanks so much and so glad you got to do this trip!

The peep hole on the door was cute! During my travels around the halls (and I did a lot of that!) I saw some doors, suites I think, with a second peephole for kids about half way down the doors

Actually, the lower peep holes in the doors are for handicapped guests in wheelchairs to be able to look out.

Loving your report Cass! Did the concierge on deck 11 have the gate as well or will those concierge guests be able to participate in FE?

Yes, both 11 and 12 concierge areas are gated so they wouldn't be able to participate in the FE unless you arrange to meet them somewhere else.

Yeah, I brought a semi-formal outfit but never wore it because every day was listed as cruise casual. I don't know if that is going to change but yes, 4 days of casual was kind of nice. I dressed up for Palo and that's it.

Ummm, no...I can't confirm this. I only peeked inside really quick and did not notice anything particular about anything....according to the photo, it doesn't really look like it has a privacy curtain but don't take my word for it.

They are delivered every night to your stateroom (for the next day). You usually get the first one when you check-in at the terminal but we didn't get one so we picked one up at Guest Services. I also went down to GS every day and got a spare one to take home, those are the ones I scanned

One quick thing before bed....this is for Paige (disgrits)....

I asked a dining manager if they were ever going to have Brunch in Remy and he said no. Basically, they want to keep Remy (the room and the experience) very exclusive so unless you have a reservation, you can't even get into the room

The tastings do show up in Navigators, I think I remember seeing a wine tasting listed, but it was at 11 am or some odd time. I don't think they have too many tastings on the shorter cruises, at least in my experience.

Question for you - how tiny do you feel the balcony was? I've been on many cruises (Disney, Princess, RCL, Carnival, Costa) but they've always been inside cabins. This is my first splurge, and the balconies look so small. Are they smaller than other ships' balconies, or this this standard?

This may also sound stupid, but the balconies have those bars going across so when you're sitting is all you see the bars and you have to look around them?

That's so funny to be able to look down on the 5th floor balconies. Someone said that if they scooched their chairs all the way back the people up above couldn't see them, but I think they may be wrong on that one!

Hey Jeff Yes, I am hoping this trip report will help others in planning their trips...being so new, there's not a lot of info out there so I took in as much as possible in order to share with others You and S and L are gonna LOVE it, I just know it!!!

We are getting more excited about the ship the more we see. We didn't care where she was going, just as long as we were on her. We'll treat the Nassau days as sea days so that we have more time to explore the ship. It's all about the ship for us, not the destination. The ship is the destination.

Glad you brought that up because I meant to mention it....that porthole was facing aft and it did indeed have an aft view

How clear was the picture on the "porthole"? Did it feel like you were actually looking outside?

Loving your report and all the pictures! After our last 7-night in a 1-bedroom concierge room on the Magic, we swore it was the only way we would go. Then we saw the pictures of the 1-bedrooms on the Dream and said the only way we would do concierge on the Dream was via a Deluxe Family Concierge room. Now, seeing the verandahs for those rooms in your pictures we will not even do that. I am so disappointed with the clear overhang in the concierge rooms (which I was not even aware of until you posted your pics). I personally do not care for this, and my 6'7" husband would have to bend down to take in the view without the plexiglass in his way. Ugh!

So sorry your AEP tour of the ship did not happen. Surprising they allowed that many agents into the group (I think ours closed with less than 100).

Timon, in regards to what you said you heard about people stealing the red pillows and silverware in AP. I am blown away that people are so classless that they would do something like that!!! And to think that the people on the MV were mostly CC members, agents & VIP's??? Unbelievable!!!?
