Glad to see that you are back. Looks like a good time was had by all. So jealous of that beautiful scenery. We loved it there, but have not been since '88.

We are getting another round of crappy weather starting tonight, then you get it. How I wish that our Florida stay was not canceled. I usually stay all of February in the Palm Beach area.

Ellen, your tr is awesome. Me and DH enjoy reading your famliy trips. We are going to wdw this may 2011, leaving from Newark airport. We now are thinking about a cruise in 2012. My DH is a huge giants fan and thinks pods would be a fun guy to hang around with!

Hi Karin! I'm glad the photos brought the warmth of the Caribbean all the way to Austria for you!! STJ is my favorite spot in the Caribbean by far- absolutely am in love with the place. And FWIW, I'm sitting here in cold dreary NJ, too!

Thanks MEK! We saw three turtles that day, they hang out in the eel grass looking for food. Sooooooo cool!

Yea- the driving there is ROUGH!!!! On the left, hairpin turns, straight up & down mountains, no guard rails, BIG cliffs. Lots of screeching tires!!

There are alot of animals that live on STJ- and just roam around, they are wild- donkeys, chickens, goats, mongoose, iguanas....we had so many hummingbirds on the lipstick plant next to our driveway we couldn't count them. It's an amazing place!

Thanks! When in May will you be there? We'll both be in Orlando in May, but on different trips- he's going for golf. I'm going with girls.

We are going down on 5/28-6/4. We are looking forward to it. We are using this trip as a graduation present to our oldest son who will be entering high school in the fall. Both our boys know about the trip however, our DD9 does not. We are going to surprise her the day we leave.
