A Fiesta, A Siesta, A Piscina, and A Tequila! (oh my!)
We left off back at Nachi Cocom where the mini pirates were plundering the beach for Capt. Hooks buried treasure. Here are a few more shots of this fun, thanks Beth for providing these awesome photos!!
Back under the palapa....we were starting to get hungry. It was time for another round of drinks, and now we were ready to chow down so we ordered some appetizers.
Nachi has a pretty huge menu. Now, I believe technically you are supposed to order one appetizer, a soup/salad, an entrée and one dessert per person but many folks have reported back that you dont have to be so limited in your food choices.
Heres what you have to choose from: (the prices dont matter, food is included with your admission price)
Another round!!
After about 10 minutes, Carlos was back with our appetizers. We had French fries, wings, and 2 orders of cheese sticks:
Everything was very good, but the big winner here was the cheese sticks! Oh wow, they were fabulous!!!
A little more relaxing on the beach
.life is good! Siesta!
Uh oh, Sarah discovered the shower!
Our appetites were not whetted by the appetizers at all and we decided to head up to the pavilion for lunch. We just grabbed a table, and Carlos appeared to take our order!
We started off with some chips and salsa
fresh, flavorful, and spicy! But oh so good! We also had another round of the delicious cheese sticks.
Our entrees arrived shortly after. Ron and I both had fajitas and our verdict: Fantastic!!!!
Brendan had a club sandwich which he said was wonderful:
Savannah had a cheeseburger:
Sarah had a hot dog, which she didnt eat too much of, because it came with mayo on it
.weird. But she ate plenty of fries and even more chips, so she was good to go! I didnt get a picture of it, but Ellen did!
It was an amazing lunch. All the reports you hear about the food here being fantastic are absolutely true.
For dessert, chocolate and vanilla ice cream for the kids, Ron and I chose the coconut ice cream. Oh wow, it is amazing. Creamy, rich, and full of flaked coconut!!!
