Basking in the Glow of the (not so) Creepy Clown -2/11-Pictures, Final Thoughts, PTR!

First of all, good luck on the job. I will be sending some :goodvibes your way.

You take really great pictures and the ones of Henry at DTD are no exception. Beautiful shots.

Cute earrings, too... Overall, I'd say your mission was a success.

Sounds like a perfect night! Your Mickey earrings are too cute. I think I might "need" a pair as well. I never knew the Tonga Truck moves! How cool!
I agree that some of the comments on WDWMAGIC are a bit harsh. I was a member there before I joined the DIS.:disrocks: I check it from time to time and I'm always tempted to comment that Disney is doing a great job and unless you could do better then keep your mouth shut!
Good luck on the interview!:goodvibes

Hmmmm, so you think Henry was a little excited?

Those potato head parts are so addicting! Good luck with that....

I was so glad to read your review of Earl of Sandwich. It's one of the places we have never tried but really want to this trip. Everything looked so good.

I got on a earring kick one year too and came away with four or five pairs of Disney earrings. I love the simple pair that you purchased and will have to be on the lookout for them in May.

Holy moley! The Lego store was crowded! I don't blame you for heading to Once Upon A Toy. Speaking of which, way to go on cramming all the Potato Head parts into the box. You did great!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!! :rotfl: (and note - he's still holding a bus!)

I can see why...it's a great one!

I was thinking about doing the "Where in the World is this letter?" alphabet game, but I failed miserably in taking pictures...I did snag this one (and maybe one or two others)

Pretty easy one!

Earl of Sandwich! Oh yeah, you kind of gave it away. Oh well.

I think my favorite version of Donald is the one they use on the coffee signs and mugs. It seems like he's got a longer bill than the "regular" (and I don't mean "caffeinated") Donald.

Another nice udpate Brook.

I really like those Mickey earrings. I have a Minnie watch that I wear every day - I think I "need" some earrings to match...:rolleyes1

I love how Henry is clutching the bus in all the pictures. So cute! I have a feeling that the monorail set will find a new home with you in the future! :thumbsup2

Good luck on your job interview! pixiedust:

Finally all caught up between last night and today! I had alot to read! How much were all those pieces that you stuffed into the box?

Love how Henry is clutching the buses and running straight to the train/monorail sets. Sounds just like Aaron! Can't wait to read more. And good luck with your interview!!

Cute earrings! I also love those hoopy, dangling ones.

Nemo cookies - YUM! That looked so yummy!

Love the boys T-shirts. Very cute!

Shopping looked like a blast. I cause use a little Disney shopping right now to cure the winter blues!

I had no idea the Lego store was doubling in size. Makes sense though!

Thank you again for them!! It was such a sweet surprise! And I still have two of them - I eat them as special treats (and during the Christmas season there were enough other possibilities!

Fun evening, I really like the look of the kid's grilled cheese sandwich! There will be an EoS opening at DLP - about one week after we are there, but I will have to try their sandwiches later this year at WDW! :goodvibes

Ahhhhh! The lap bars thread is HILARIOUS! I mean really?!?! People are in an uproar about safety????? I haven't really read much into it-but, from what I gather there is a concern about load time? You'd think that due to these restraints everything might actually move faster because there won't be a chance of people getting out of their logs like in the past! Therefore the ride won't shut down every 10 minutes.

The Project Z one is one I'm a tad addicted to. :rolleyes1 I was excited to see Lee confirm Tron! :hyper: Joe is going to go see it in IMAX 3D tonight! I told him WDW was supposedly getting the Tron ride at some point and he kinda sulked that he hadn't seen it yet-so I told him, GO! He's really excited to go see it. I'll let you know what he thinks of it. Are you guys getting the 3D and IMAX 3D?

I totally agree about the lap bar issue and I am actually looking forward to having a lap bar to hold onto. :goodvibes

Don't get too excited about the Tron ride, I have seen many substantial rumors on there which were later pulled away or very delayed, like the Monsters Inc coaster for DHS or the Mount Fuji ride for Japan in the WS. That's why Lee was so reluctant about saying very much.

The order for the buses was a bit different each time depending on where you were going. I did write down a few times where we stopped first/second, etc. I can look back in my notes for ya, and I'll take better notes this coming trip and let you know-I'll write down times too from when we board the bus, to when we depart the last resort, to when we arrive at the park. :thumbsup2 It's for AK, DTD and MK. It really was not too much longer at all, even when the BW was the first stop. It never bothered Joe or I, we both thought service was very good.

Thanks for the info and I would love more detail, but it isn't the most important issue to me. :goodvibes So, don't use up all your vacation time on taking notes about busses!

26 pieces! :woohoo:

And you paid for all of them???
I know ways to get more... :rolleyes1

As we walked out into the night we heard a beeping noise - the Tonka trucks on the Once Upon a Toy sign were dumping! I had never seen them move before, it was really cool and Henry was in awe!

You know, I only realized they did that just a few trips ago. I guess I had just never been standing there at the right time. It is cool. I bet Henry could have some kind of fun with a battery-powered dump truck (big enough that he could ride) that made noises and really dumped things! ::yes::

What a fantastic day you had!

I adore that picture of Henry with Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. I had the boys pose with them like that too, it's one of my favorite pics!

Yum, Earl of Sandwich......

Great job on stuffing the Potato Head parts, you got some great pieces. I loved the video of dumping the box on the bed and seeing how excited Henry was :goodvibes

I had no idea that the dump trucks at Once Upon a Toy actually moved, how cool! It really doesn't surprise me though, Disney is awesome when it comes to those little touches.

Thinking of you this morning, hope your interview goes well!

That is my FAVORITE sandwich at EOS :thumbsup2 And of course I have a boring old salad for lunch today :sad2:
Love the picture of Henry with the Tweedles....so cute!! :goodvibes
Score on the potato head parts :yay: You got some really cute stuff :thumbsup2
I wear Mickey earrings every day....I get a lot of compliments on them and then oh....it's a Mickey head.....:rolleyes1
Hope the interview went well this morning

Tracy

And you paid for all of them???
I know ways to get more... :rolleyes1

bwahahahahahaha

Now i am going to have to stand around and wait for this!

Interview update - the gal I was to meet with called in sick today with the flu! Poor thing. We rescheduled for next week. :thumbsup2 It actually works out REALLY well because we are in a blizzard here in NYC and traveling into the City without looking like a complete mess would have been an interesting task....

Love all the Mr. Potato head parts you got. How much is it to stuff a box?

It was right around $20. Ours was slightly cheaper with the 10% Annual Pass Holder discount. My goal was to get at least 20 in there, so a buck a piece.

First of all, good luck on the job. I will be sending some :goodvibes your way.

You take really great pictures and the ones of Henry at DTD are no exception. Beautiful shots.

Cute earrings, too... Overall, I'd say your mission was a success.

Thank you! It's all the camera! I have taken a couple photography classes but back in high school and college. I think I am going to have Joe handle the camera more this coming trip, I really enjoy his eye.

Sounds like a perfect night! Your Mickey earrings are too cute. I think I might "need" a pair as well. I never knew the Tonga Truck moves! How cool!

Good luck on the interview!:goodvibes

It was funny...over there everyone was flipping out about how awful the projections on the Castle would be and then when they finally showed it everyone was raving about it. How in the world they could judge before seeing it I don't know... all well!

Anyway - there are so many choices of Disney earrings, it was hard to make a choice! I went for simple and cheap.

Hmmmm, so you think Henry was a little excited?

Those potato head parts are so addicting! Good luck with that....

Just a little excited! I remember him screeching and rolling around, running, running, running. I guess straight-up sugar can do that to a kid! ;)

There are so many cute Potato Head pieces! I told Joe maybe we should just get the big Tater case this time so I can get everything and be done with it...:rolleyes1

Earl is delicious! We have eaten there a few times and have never been disappointed. It's a bit overwhelming at first because the line is always long and it's so busy, but it moves pretty quickly.

That simple pair of earrings is only $6 too! MeMom had a pic of them recently on her TR that she found at Pop Century, so they are around in other shops too. I hope you find them, or something else you like!

I think this trip I'll drop Henry and Joe off at the Lego store and then get my shop on alone!
