Recent 7 Night Western on Magic......

Just wondering, if any recent cruisers can let me know a couple of things??

Was Pirate night on day 5 ~ Cozumel?

Were bandanas passed out at Pirates in the Caribbean dinner that night?

Just got off the Magic yesterday (Western Carribbean) and yes, Pirate night was on the 5th night - Cozumel and yes, we got bandanas.

So glad to know what night the pirate night will fall on for our upcoming cruise.

Here's my question, and please forgive me if it has been asked & answered elsewhere cuz I couldn't find it.....what time does the pirate party/show begin & how long is it. Trying to figure out nap times and such so the kiddos can partake.

My 1st cruise too !!

From what I understand it starts at 9:45 pm. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will correct me.

That was the start time and the characters come around 10:00 with the fireworks around 10:15. We were lucky to have the show though with the weather. The captain had to completely turn the ship around and come to a stop. Mickey couldn't zipline between the tunnels due to the 50 knot winds. It was the start of a very rocky night and all the pools were closed on Thursday [sea day]. It would have been nicer if they had switched the party to Tuesday night when it was still warm and not as windy like they did on the 12/11 cruise.

I had the same thoughts as well since the bridge crew knew ahead of time that we were heading into rougher weather (I asked them). Apparently they hoped that the weather would improve or at least not getting any worse - bad call.

The adult pool did open later in the day (sea day) but the water was splashing on deck occasionally. The hot tubs were open all day.

I found the provided bandanas to be a bit small for adults.
