Anyone checked yet or know what connections are available on the TV's on the Dream? Wondering if I can use the HDMI connection on my laptop for viewing DVD's, etc on the TV? If there's no HDMI what other connections are available for use?

Thanks

If it like the TV's on the Magic, I know there will RCA connections, not sure about HDMI connections

A while back, there was a close up picture of the back of the tv posted on here. I can't seem to find it now, but I remember seeing what I thought would be an hdmi port. It was not the best quality, but you could make out some connections.

I'll keep looking for it.

I found that post. Here is the link they provided to some photos of the back of the TV. The photo itself says it was uploaded in 2009, so I'm thinking it may be from the Wonder/Magic, but it might help you out. On the closeup of the back, in the top left of the picture is what looks to me like it might be an HDMI, but it could be usb too. Also, if you look just above the screw next to that port, I think I can make out the letters HD with more after it.

Jeff, thanks for looking, but I can't find the link in your post.

That is one of my albums on Webshots...I took the TV pic back in September of 2009 when they put the flat screen TV's on the Magic.

But....I thought I read somewhere that DCL did not want people plugging external devices into the TV....I do not know how they would enforce it but I think it was from keeping people from damaging the TV's if they did not know what they were doing.

I was bummed on the Wonder last cruise, because although the new tvs were nice, there was no headphone jack - the year before we brought a super long headphone cord, and a splitter so we could watch TV at night after the kids were in bed.
