Hi,

We have booked our Disneymoon for May and wonder if anyone knows if you can pay to have a Magic Kingdom photo shoot like I have seen Disney Bride and Grooms having. This would be a dream come true :cloud9:

Thank you in advance :thumbsup2

The Magic Kingdom photo session is reserved only for those having a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. You can do a honeymoon session in the other three parks, but according to the Passporters guide, bridal attire is not permitted.

any idea on pricing for the other parks? What if i do a private photopass shot at the poly could you wear your dress then?

It's $310 for the honeymoon shoot in the parks. I'm not sure what the cost of a resort shoot is or if you can wear bridal attire. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about that will post.

It's kinda confusing cuz there are a ton of different options and they all have different rules. Let's see if I can break it down...

Magic Kingdom Bridal Portrait Session - $1,100: Only available to those who've had a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding; bridal attire permitted, shot by Disney Fine Art Photography.

Theme Park Bridal Portrait Session - $650: Just like the MK Session, but held at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, or Typhoon Lagoon. Available to anyone. Bridal attire permitted, shot by Disney Fine Art Photography.

Resort Bridal Portrait Session - $450: Held at any Disney resort, available to all, bridal attire permitted, shot by Disney Fine Art Photography.

Honeymoon/Anniversary Portrait Session - $310: Held at Epcot or any Disney resort. Available to all. Bridal attire not permitted in Epcot (never heard of anyone doing this one in bridal attire at the resorts, but there's no way they can prevent you from wearing bridal attire at the resorts). Available to all, shot by Disney Fine Art Photography.

PhotoPass Private Resort Photo Session - $49.95–$99.95: Held at Beach Club, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Wilderness Lodge. Available to all, bridal attire permitted, shot by Disney's PhotoPass photographer.

Phone Numbers:
Disney Fine Art Photography: 407-827-5099
Disney's PhotoPass: 407-934-4004

Thank you so much! I never knew this was really an option for us financially! Does anyone know what the price lists look like to purchase, or do the offer a CD of all of the prints with the copyrights?

PhotoPass Prices:

$49.95 photo package lets you choose one of three combinations of prints included in the price:
  • two 8x10s and three 5x7s
  • two 5x7s and four sets of two 4x6s
  • seven 5x7s

The $99.95 option gives you your choice of print package plus all images on a PhotoPass CD (40-70 images, depending on the pacing of the session).

If you pre-order the PhotoPass CD online or purchase it in the parks, the cost of the portrait session is $70 with proof of purchase.

Disney Fine Art Photography Prices:

All of the packages come with some prints. There's usually a folio (like a cardboard sleeve), an album, or a softcover photobook with a few images in various sizes, plus one 4x6-inch print of every photo taken at the session.

Complete pricing details for printed products can be found in the PDFs here:

For those who aren't having a Disney wedding shot by Disney Fine Art Photography, the cost of a disc of hi-res images is $750.

Do you know about the photography on the Memories Collection? Thats what we are having in October, and I am wondering if it is still done by the Disney Fine Art Photography?

Thanks everyone, especially lurkyloo. I'm glad I'm not alone in wanting a Disney photo shoot, I'm obviously in the right place. I'm going to use the information the investigate further! :wizard:

I've just looked online for the "Resort Bridal Portrait session" for $650 and can"t find any information about it. Do you think I should I call the number you provided instead?

Thanks in advance :bride:

I had no idea you could do a bridal session with having a DFTW! Is there any discount if I want more than one location? I would love to do AK and Typhoon Lagoon.

The only official discount they have is Magic Kingdom + another park for $1400, but you could call the number and ask about pairing two other parks—that sounds like a great combo! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know about transportation to and from the resorts for the bridal pictures? I am just not wanting to ride the bus early in the morning before a park opens in my dress and makeup. We dont rent cars when we come to disney.

Transportation to and from the park is included in the theme park bridal portrait session.
