Disney's website shows restaurants as accepting the dining plan even if all they accept is the Premium Dining Plan. We almost figured this out the hard way when we made a last minute ADR at Fulton's because we thought it was on the dining plan. Luckily, as we were on our way to DTD, I decided to check on the DIS to see if it was actually on the dining plan and found out it wasn't. Otherwise, it would have been quite a shock when the check came.
The other restaurants I know of that show up like that are Portobello and T-Rex.
This ticks me off -- lots of restaurants come up that way: Yak & Yeti, Tutto Italiano, etc. I spent HOURS researching restaurants months ago, made my reservations, and now find out that these places no longer accept the regular dining plan. Gah.
The restaurants you named do except the dining plan.
Only if you have the Deluxe Dining plan. They don't accept the regular dining plan. (At least this is what the CM told me on the phone last night. I was confused because when I clicked the "Dining Plan Info" link that shows credits used, there were slash ("--") marks through the quick serve and regular dining options. There was a "1" under Deluxe. I called and the CM verified that the regular dining plan was not accepted there.
It sounded fishy to me, so I'm going to call again today.
I spent HOURS arranging my ADRs for Feb trip.....only to figure out some only took the DELUXE plan!
How annoying is that?
When I used the plan 2 years ago.....there were ALOT more options then now.
This is the last time I will use the Dining Plan....it has become a huge ripoff!
