I'm watching Toddlers and Tiaras, stayed home sick from school. My grandpa unknowingly gave me moldy bread (the mold was white and looked exactly like flour) and I'm allergic. The people in the ER must know me by name by now

well, we definitely tried to keep the updates going. Rick especially was good about it, cause my phone didn't seem to hold a charge good there, I would fully charge it at night, and by 1pm it would be dying again, it was wierd. Catie is my little texter, she LOVES the phone (she left hers in her sweatshirt and put the shirt through the wash while there though, so now her phone isn't working).

well, we definitely tried to keep the updates going. Rick especially was good about it, cause my phone didn't seem to hold a charge good there, I would fully charge it at night, and by 1pm it would be dying again, it was wierd. Ugh! That stinks about the phone! The girl who used to babysit for me did that once. Verizon told her to take the battery out and take any covers off and let it dry overnight. It worked, but hers didn't go through a full wash cycle...she realized it about 5 min. after she put it in.

Thanks, Heather. We actually found it after the wash cycle in the bottom of the washer at the hotel. I took it back to the room and we took it apart and left it apart for 2 days in the hopes that it would dry out and work. The screen is a little bubbly looking now, and it will power up to say Verizon screen but won't go further. We reactivated my old phone to her, but she says the battery seems to be going, it doesn't want to hold a charge for very long at all, a couple hours. Rick had the same phone so we are going to pull his battery and see if it will hold up better that way. But her now ruined phone had a qwerty keyboard for texting, this one doesn't, so she won't like it as well; she was the one who couldn't wait to get the keyboard phone.

Kristi-- someone dh works with said they left their phone in dried rice over night after getting it wet and it worked again. At this point it might be too late. I think she took the phone apart too.

T, that's pretty much what I told her when she asked me when she could get a new replacement phone...

Mary, I had heard about the rice trick before too, but as we were at FQ, I didn't figure I was going to manage that.

Glad to hear that the explosions, etc aren't near you! That's scary!

T, don't know if you saw it, but I think our trip deets may have changed again. Rick REALLY wants to stay at Wilderness Lodge, and I can get there for under $3K with park hoppers and dining if we fly in on 5/27. I checked 5/26, and its still not bad, $3400, but the airfare is crazy on 5/26, it is better on either 5/25 or 5/27, not sure why, but it is like $100 per ticket higher on 5/26. And there is a flight out on Airtran that gets in at 11:30am, and one on SW that gets us in by 1pm.

B got a job today. He's been looking but not too hard. Nobody has been really hiring, but he wasn't looking to hard....spoiled little monster. Anyways he took a drug test today & is expected to start Monday or Tuesday. He'll work at a Family Dollar Store. Not sure what he'll be doing yet, probably restocking and pricing and stuff. He's happy. Me and my wallet are really happy.

Darn Rick!!! I say go for the extra days. Tell him he wants to stay at WL at Christmas time.. Thats when its worth it..
