Are credits pooled for groups booking together?

If we are traveling with other family and are all on a linked hotel reservation, will our dining points be pooled together? I know adults and kids get separated, but we will be able to share adult credits across the 6 of us?

For example, if my in-laws wanted to eat off site one night, can we take their two extra TS credits and use it for a 2-credit dining meal? Or if my SIL doesn't want to eat a table service every night b/c of her baby, can we use her TS and let her use our CS?

I am just trying to figure out how much fluidity is built in. We have used the plan before but only when traveling with our immediate family of four. Thanks!

Thanks 3Minnies, I guess the alternative would have been too much to ask for!

As a follow up, do all the rooms have to go on the meal plan if they are linked ressies (we are a group of 8+ so we would probably be a grand gathering I guess)? Or could two out of the three do it for example? I guess the alternative would be to book the rooms individually rather than a group. I am not even sure this is an issue, but I am collecting info to bring back to the family and just want to be sure I am clear on how all this works.

Thanks!

No. Each room is booked with its own package (can have different tickets, DDPs, number of nights). They are just linked so they can try and put you near each other. I'm fairly sure the "Grand Gathering" classification doesn't effect this.

Is this the case even if all the rooms are being paid for by one person?

the separate rooms are still treated as separate, even if all rooms are booked & paid for by one individual.

We often take our adult kids with us as our "treat"...our room has our credits (DH & me) and the kids' room has their credits. When we eat together, we have to present one card from each room and tell the server which meals are coming from which card.
