Port of L.A. to Disneyland

anyone know what options are available to get to Disneyland at the end of a MR cruise? Prices? thanks.

When we took the Panama Canal Repo in 2008, DCL offered bus transportation from the port to Disneyland - this is the option we chose. I think the cost was around $35 each - the same as a one way transfer from WDW to port.

Friends of ours booked a rental car which they picked up at the port, but I don't know the costs involved in that, sorry.

Disney is offering transportation again ($30 pp). You can also look into shuttle services like Super Shuttle, Prime Time Shuttle, etc. Depending on how many people (and how much luggage) you have, it might be cheaper to hire a town car or limo.

We had a group of 7 and it was cheaper to arrange a van to provide transportation. I found a reputable company by reading posts on the cruise critic boards. We actually had the same driver pick us up at the John Wayne Airport and take us to the Grand Californian, then pick us up at the GC and take us to the cruise port, and then pick us up at the cruise port and return us to the airport. They gave us one price for all three transfers - a much better deal than renting a car or using Disney transportation.

We just got our execucar confirmation thru super shuttle. $80 for 4 of us from Candy Cane Inn to the port. Tip included. Private van just for us!!

Can you ask your friends, which company they had. Because i cann't find one that has a shuttleservice to the port.

I'm interested in this as well. My boyfriend and I are looking into ways of getting from Disneyland (GCV) to the Port of L.A. before the cruise. I'd really like to hire a private car so that we can get there before the bus rush. Any personal recommendations?

The only car rental company in San Pedro is Enterprise. It is a few blocks away, in the bldg adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. http://www.enterprise.com/car_rental/deeplinkmap.do?gpbr=32D6&bid=004&cnty=US

Notice that they are closed on Saturdays and only open from 9-noon on Sundays.
