Even Palo, brunch and dinner! Plus Las Caletas and we each booked a spa treatment! I went online last night at 9:00 pm (first available moment) and got everything booked for our MR cruise on the Wonder
3/27/11. :surfweb: That means I can go straight to lunch and pool w/o standing in that long line at Diversions/Route 66!

I am one happy lady!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Congrats! My booking window opened last night too for my EC 3-12-11 cruise. I'm in eastern time zone so I had to stay up til midnight but I got everything I wanted.

Us too... I just about cried when the site kicked me out and wouldn't let me back in for 45 minutes:confused3:scared1: but we managed to get all the things we wanted too (inclusing Las Caletas - see you there:thumbsup2)

Congrats TJCAMTC!!
We are on your cruise also! But we are 1st time Disney cruisers, so we will be waiting for Jan. 11 to hurry up & get here, so we can book excursions/spa treatments/Palo! Any recommendations or for any of those? Also, we live super close to you! Nice to have another DCL'r nearby. :thumbsup2

CalDisfans,

We went on the Wonder in February 2009 and loved it! Now that it's going to be here, it's such an easy sail. Don't have to fly across the country, rent a car, rent a hotel, etc.

I went to Palo brunch and it was awesome! This time we're doing both. I'm getting a facial, my eldest daughter is doing a swedish massage, my youngest is doing the stone therapy massage.

How old are your kids? If this is your first cruise, trust me, your little ones will spend a lot of time in the clubs. My grandson is 5, and my granddaughter is 11. My grandson pitched a fit when we came and took him out of his club to go to bed! First thing in the morning, before we all were awake, he laid in bed and muttered "my club, my club"!!!!!

You and your husband make plans for Palo and other adults only stuff. My oldest daughter had no idea the kids were going to be occupied and didn't make any reservations and was jealous when I went off to Palo. She sat by herself at the pool most of the time!

If you have questions, ask away!

averysmom,

Hope to see you on the ship! Las Caletas looks wonderful! How old are your kids?:cool1:

Las Caletas is an all day excursion in Puerto Vallarta. You get on a catamaran and cruise for an hour to a private island for the day. Price is $95 adults, $85 kids. It's all inclusive; continental breakfast, lunch, drinks, water toys etc. It looks beautiful. Try this website:

It's going to be so much fun!

Janie,
Our kids are 16, 13, & 6. What port things do you think those ages would like? What do you think about the second or first seating for dinner? I'm a bit worried about that. I'm excited to get into the booking of the Spa, which is your favorite?

CalDisfans,

In Mazatlan we booked Randi's Happy Horses on Stone Island. Here is there website, Randi gets great reviews here on CC.

Here's her website:

In Cabo we are hoping the kids will want to stay in their clubs while we just walk around and shop.:woohoo: If you are interested in adult Cabo places for drinks, lunch and shopping, let me know. Cabo didn't have anything we thought our kids would enjoy.

MY grandaughter is 10 and grandson is 5. Hopefully they can meet in the clubs and become buds!

Also, you are probably already assigned late seating, like us. If the kids are in their club and mealtime, the club goes to Topsiders together, with their clubs and counselors. The buffet is closed to everyone else until the kids enjoy their meal. Then they go back to their club. Last time, oure kids didn't want to go to meals with their clubs, but wanted room service until they were done and joined them after the meal. They ate two of four dinners with us. During the day we were all out at the pool so it wasn't an issue.

Like I said, be prepared to spend some time alone, unless your teenages like the teen club. My 10 y/o pre-tween is dying to go to the teen clubs!

My dd will be 6 by the time we cruise, and my ds is 8. ITA - I think we're going to have an awesome time there!

We did first seating with our kids for our last cruise, thinking that they wouldn't want to eat so late - and we felt really rushed in the afternoons, like we were always hurrying to get ready for dinner. Also, at late seating kid club counsellors will come down at 9:00ish at take the kids back up to the clubs so parents can finish eating by themselves.

We are going with late seating this time.
