you can get a cheap adapter that will change a regular wall outlet into a USB plug
These are readily available in many stores, I used them on my last cruise.
I have one of these, too, and I love it. Works wonderfully, and quite handy. I would just caution that the USB ports aren't that powerful, and may not be sufficient to charge certain electronics that require a powerful charge (like an iPad or some cameras). You'd want to test whatever you're planning to charge with it *before* going on your trip, so you would know if you need an additional adapter or not (ie, one that plugs into the outlet part rather than the USB plug). This is what I use when I travel, and I couldn't be happier. I bought mine at Costco, but they can also be found at places like this: http://www.pcconnectionexpress.com/...61-_-New-_-GY16&ci_src=5784816&ci_sku=8459561
It's a 3 outlet surge protector with two usb charging sockets. In addition, the plug head rotates so that you can position it vertically or horizontally. I used it on my last Disney cruise and it worked out great, plus you have the safety of it being surge protector.
