Hi guys! Thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and start a PTR since I currently don't have anything else better to do at the moment :)

Soo...here is my family!

DH-Donald (29 but is really a 15 year old stuck in a mans body lol), Myself- Amanda/Mandy/Mom (29 comical and an intense planner!) and our 3 children. Lillian (almost 9)who loves Jack Skellington and Sally, tries to be what she thinks is "Gothic". Violette (3 1/2) who is totally princess obsessed, LOVES Snow White and Cinderella as well as animals. You can pretty much find her in dress up clothes all day. And then we have the baby, Preston/PJ. He was born April 23, 2010 and conceived after our last Disney trip in June/July 2009! He is a sweet, laid back and loving little guy who currently likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and dance to any Disney music :)

We are booked for POP, arriving via Delta air on March 28 and departing the evening of April 5. That makes this my longest Disney stay EVER at 8 nights and 9 full days of MAGIC and hopefully no meltdowns (lol one can hope right? hehe). I have a BBB visit on the schedule as well as a Harmony Barber Shop appointment for DS and DH (surprise to him! lol). We are also doing the DxDP with some really great ADR's planned as well :) I diet all year to be able to relax and indulge in Disney food and am REALLY looking forward to several signature meals!

The kids already know they are going, I am a HORRIBLE secret keeper! I actually envy those who can keep things like this on the DL (down low to the late person :) ) Every day my 3 year old talks about "her" bus and "her" Disney World. I frequently hear the sentence/demand "I wanna go to Disney World on my bus!" from her. She knows she is going after Sisters Birthday but has inherited her Momma's impatience :rotfl:

We are SOOOO excited to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary at WDW!!! Our trip also falls smack dab in the middle of our childrens Birthdays. 95 days and counting here !!! Pictures and more stuff to come soon!

Excuse me for now, I'm getting a page from DS!

Woo hoo!! Another March PTR! And I'm the first to post!!! :cool1:
We stayed at CBR in '09 and loved it..we would be staying there this time but couldn't get a standard room with our Pincode. But you're gonna love it!! Our DD's also did the pirate cruise there..it was cute, and gave us some quiet time alone... ;)

Looking forward to reading more!!

Ohh that is soo good to hear!! I'm sure they are going to have a great time on the little cruise too! Would be fantastic to see pictures too :)

So in order to allow you all to know me a bit better I suppose I'll post some pics and a bit of info about my family.

I am a 29 year old former dancer/instructor turned SAHM to 3 lovely children (lol ok, the girls are SOMETIMES lovely but PJ is all the time!). I enjoy shopping, baking, working out when I get the chance, getting great deals, medical shows and playing on FB and the disboards of course ;) I try to find comedy in just about anything, it's what keeps me sane these days! I do love Disney and everything about it and thankfully my family feels the same way. Though DH isn't quite obsessed BUT still...he agrees with my obsession so that makes things OK, right? lol

Here is a picture of myself and the girls @ Ohana on our last visit in 2009

My girls are like NIGHT and day. They love to argue but if anyone hurts either one of them they are right there to back their sister up. It's a very odd relationship ;) Lillian will be turning 9 in February, which is when we were originally planning on going. Due to her spring break schedule we had to change our plans to March. She is currently in 3rd grade and enjoys soccer, cheerleading, sports and music. My tomboy for sure! She loves Selena Gomez this year and her favorite Disney Movie is probably The Nightmare before Christmas. She likes Mulan and Pocahontas. She is a complainer at the parks too. It should be interesting to see how she will act when we go this time LOL.

Vi on the other hand is a total girly girl! She loves anything Princess and especially loves Snow White, Pocahontas and Cinderella. She talks and talks about HER Disney World on a daily basis...yep, she was totally brainwashed on her first visit and she was ONLY 2 then! She is probably the most excited about going (apart from myself lol). She is easy going for the most part but is 3 1/2 and wants what she wants and sometimes if she doesn't get it! Well, just expect a little bit of a tantrum ;)

My girls...

Then we have baby #3, Preston. Little PJ! I had gotten back from my last Disney trip and told DH its back to Disney or have another baby. Guess my fertility decided the answer for me! He was conceived right after we came back from Disney World! Gotta love him! My Mother "jokes" about how I'll get preggo again after this Disney trip but NO WAY is that happening, 3 c-sections is enough THANK YOU VERY MUCH. And really, we are quite complete with 3 I believe. I cannot wait to take him for his first visit! I'm praying he gets some hair so we can actually go to our reservation at Harmony Barber Shop for his first "cut". Heck, I'd even settle for enough hair to style at this point!

And the most current one of them all together :)

Hope you guys don't mind all the pictures! I LOVE pictures ;) I wish other people would post more of theirs because it's nice to put pictures with the people we read about! (or am I just nosey? haha)

Up next, OUR SCHEDULE/ADR's!

So, as I mentioned in my earlier post we knew from our last visit in 2009 that we simply HAD to go back ASAP(which was also the girls first visit). I told DH that we were either going to have another baby or start planning another trip to WDW. That was in July of 09. I found out I was pregnant August 2009 :) Like I said, my fertility decided that for me lol. I craved Disney my entire pregnancy! I knew we had to go back once the baby came just didn't know when.

Preston was born in late April of 2010 and what a blessing this little boy has been to our family! It's exciting to have a boy (gotta start him on his Lightening McQueen obsession early! lol) and my family is now complete (hopefully!). We initially had booked for Feb 2011 but had to cancel due to DH's work schedule and DD's school. I was bummed for a bit. We thought about May/June. Scratched that. Settled on March, during DD's spring break from school as it will be in our best interest to go then. We'll head out March 28 and head back the evening of April 5.

Now, initially we were planning on driving. Call me crazy but I enjoy driving. I like all the sights on the way, trying out different places to eat that we can not get back here in cornfield USA MI lol. I enjoy having the kids learn things along the way and making little stops....SIGH. With that said we are to be flying for the first time ever with children in tow! I would gladly accept any suggestions and tips here. I am a bit nervous about flying to begin with even though I've done it several times myself, but then to throw the kids in the mix UGH...I guess I'll have to be sure to pop an adivan prior to this event hehe.

So here is what we have so far! I'm very excited about the food along with DH and Lillian ;)

I'm really looking forward to the food, I cannot deny it :) I also enjoy the character meals as well...even though the food isn't anything spectactular (though CP has awesome desserts, the coconut flan for example is TO DIE FOR!).

And reality is starting to slowly set in here. I almost want to take all of my girls summer/spring clothes and pack them away but then I forget that we are going to be needing those in just 93 short days!!!! Whoooo hoooo!!! :cool1:

I wonder if anyone is really reading this? lol. Up next will be our tentative schedule, day by day. However, at this moment I have a certain baby boy calling for his "Mum Mum".

hi, it's me again! :wave2:
Just wanted to let you know that you can see how many views your PTR has gotten. On the page that lists the threads, look to the far right, the column is headed "Views". As of this post you had 71 views already!!! :thumbsup2
Keep in mind that even your own views and posts are being counted in this, but I know not even the most obsessed person would view their own thread 70 times ;)

lol, thanks! I'm a tad obsessive but not to that extreme :rotfl2:

I've never done a PTR, just hope I'm not doing something MAJORLY wrong here ;)

Hi Mandy, it's Connie Cannon Sink from March 2011 FB group. I'm reading and wondering if perhaps I should do my own PTR...Love to find the fellow Disney obsessed! :lmao:

I'm here too! Your PTR is great so far! :thumbsup2

LOL welcome and thanks! I'm so glad I made that FB group, the March 2011 thread runs toooooo painfully slooooow for those a tad obsessive like me ;)

Connie for sure you need to do a PTR! I'll be your first reader, promise :goodvibes

Oh and it appears someone likes Mulan ?? She's also DD's favorite! For your viewing pleasure...

Thanks for the compliments guys. Preston is just a big ol' ham these days...He'll be 8 months old tomorrow and I'm wondering where time has gone :( What is odd is that I NEVER "wanted" a boy, just a healthy baby essentially. I guess I was afraid of boys after two girls but my oh my...I LOVE HIM TO PIECES and can't imagine my life without him being in it now :lovestruc

Speaking of Preston! BOY needs to grow him some hair so we can actually attend our appointment at Harmony Barber Shop during our visit:laughing:

Onto the game plan!

In a nutshell (I'll try lol).

We will be leaving the 28th but have roughly a 2 hour drive to DTW as well. Our flight leaves at 10 am which means that we probably should be up around 5:30 and be pulling out of our driveway by 6:30. The night before I will be sure to have everything loaded and ready to go! I really am hoping for an easy departure and safe arrival. IDK why but I am still slightly paranoid about flying with the kids. I guess if the plane is going to crash at least wait for us to go to Disney first and do it on its way back home ;) LOL, sorry...sorry...that's kinda morbid but its just a valid fear of mine. ANYWAYS....

We should arrive @ MCO around 12:30 and hopefully be to POP by 2. I'm sure we'll be really hungry by this point so after check in we'll grab something small to eat and then let the kids relax, go swimming, etc...We'll have to head over to MK to grab the boat to GF by 6ish for our 7:30ADR at Narcoossee's. I'm excited about eating here. I know this gets some mixed reviews but DANG it I don't care! The way I look at it their lobster has to be better than the Red Lobsters piece of rubber I was served last week right?? Geez I hope so ;) I really think the kids are going to enjoy dinner here as well, esp with the water light show. Not sure if we will stay for the fireworks as it will be getting late by that point but we'll see I guess. Back to the hotel after to rest up for our day at DHS!

Continued from above...(had to leave for some last minute Christmas shopping!)

March 29 Our 10 year anniversary and day at HS!

While we love HS this will be our only full day here. I went ahead and made an ADR for Hollywood & Vine for DD and DS. Violette loves her some Oso and DS seems to like Handy Manny so far. I know the food is just so so here and am really going for the characters. Our ADR is for 8 am and HS doesn't open until 9 so I'm hoping we'll get FP early and be able to ride the more popular rides with this advantage of basically being some of the first ppl. in line for the park. RnRc and TOT is my DD's fav and DH likes TSM. Me? I just like the pixar stuff in the park. I like HS, its just not my fav. and I'm pretty sure I speak for my whole family on that one ;)

We also made sure to take advantage of the Fantasmic package and scheduled an ADR for Brown Derby @ 3:30. We all were just blown away from Fantasmic our last visit. I'd recommend this show to ANYONE who is going to WDW. It is a must see! LOVE IT! It's great for the adults and the kids as well.

One thing I simply MUST do while in HS is get these cupcakes I see on the dining review thread :) YUMMMM! Our last visit I got this INCREDIBLE brownie from a shop there and wished I had gotten some for our trip back home. I was NOT sharing that thing no matter how hard the kids pleaded LOL.

Back to the hotel after Fantasmic and on with the next day of our trip!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was nice :) I'm sure time will fly by and it will be March before I know it, especially with DD's bday in between now and then.

Onto...

March 30

Back to Magic Kingdom w/ A LOT of "to do's". Breakfast will be short and sweet, preferably something sweet and covered in frosting (perhaps a MSB cinnamon roll? YUM!). First off we have a 9am reservation for the Barber Shop for my DS and DH. A surprise to DH and DS, well..might not be able to keep his appointment unless he grows a wee bit o' hair LOL. Poor guy is pretty bald. I wonder if they'll maybe just do a style for him then?

We have a BBB appointment at noon as well. The girls do NOT know about that so it should be exciting. They are going to LOVE getting all fixed up ;) Following this we have a CRT lunch ADR for 2 pm. We have never been here before so of course we are excited. I'm cautiously excited due to the reviews on here. We do love Akershus but really want to dine in the castle. I keep reading do it at least once so here we are, going to give it a fair shot ! I hope we love it :) I've also ordered 2 chocolate slippers to eat here as well!

After this LOOOONG day we might head back to the resort and relax a bit and then come back. Depending on how PJ does we might just stay in the park. I plan on using my MOBY wrap a lot while there as well so as long as I'm comfortable I know he will be right with mama wearing him.

We also have a late ADR for Ohana at 8:40 this night. Mmmmm....pot stickers and bread pudding......ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my!!

OK I JUST HAVE TO SAY I AM GETTING SUPER EXCITED about things just in writing this out :woohoo:
