Your photos are great and sooo clear. What type of Camera do you have?

Hi there! And thanks! I use two cameras- I have a DSLR, it's a Canon Rebel xsi, which at night (when I remember to) I use with a flash attachment (that I have from my old Canon SLR, elan 7e). The other camera is an Olympus- it's a Stylus SW 850. That one is an underwater camera- all the photos from the current (Friday) posts (the BC ones and the DHS ones I'm going to post) were taken with it. I need to get a new one though- the water seal is shot, and on the cruise it was on its last legs. I get tired of carrying around the big camera, so I really need both. :thumbsup2 Oh! And using a tripod, even a gorilla pod, helps immensely with night photos. :thumbsup2

The boys were all ready to hit it when I got back to the room- so we said good-bye to Pods, who was staying behind. There are actually 2 reasons he was stayin behind- 1, he always complains I never give him enough relaxation time on vacation,so here was his chance and 2, he was going to buy a 1 day pass, and the upcharge of $50+ to park hop wasn't really thrilling him- after all, we had just been here the month before, and he had spent plenty of time on RnRC when we were. Soooo...just me and my boys went down to the dock. When I took this next photo, T&T were both like, "What are ya takin THAT for?? You're not even stayin there!" Yes I did- when i was here in MAy with my DISmoms- we had that little balcony up there-

Leaving behind a spouse, I have always wondered about that since my wife insists that if I go to Epcot again, it will be me and me alone. Her and the kid could just swim at the hotel while I "explore."

Looking forward to more!

Love the Disney Magic phone charger story! It's not just the big moments but it's all the little ones too that make the Disney vacations so amazing.

Just caught back up. :thumbsup2 You have some beautiful pictures! can't wait to find out how many times you rode RnRC...popcorn::

I know this lounge too! They were very good in putting up with us. :rotfl: It is where we had a drink while we waited for the others to join us for our illuminations cruise. I had a nice group pic there but maybe one day you'll see it on Buzz Lightyear. That is where I lost my camera and still no luck in getting it back. Hopefully it will be at least a million point shot if it's still there. :lmao:

Now going back to read the rest. Was just too excited by the same lobby within days of each other. Especially since I had not even been in this area of Disney since 2001!

Just finished reading yoour lovebugs report, and I can't wait to hear about this one.

Hi, Sleeping Beauty! Thanks for following along!:goodvibes

Leaving behind a spouse, I have always wondered about that since my wife insists that if I go to Epcot again, it will be me and me alone. Her and the kid could just swim at the hotel while I "explore."

Looking forward to more!

Epcot is my favorite park- I want to LIVE there!! But everyone needs to be happy on vacation- I think it's better that way. I hate dragging anyone anywhere they don't want to go!

Just reading along and marking my spot !!!!:rotfl2:

That's really funny...good idea! :rotfl:

Love the Disney Magic phone charger story! It's not just the big moments but it's all the little ones too that make the Disney vacations so amazing.

I agree completely. Those CMs made my day...

Just caught back up. :thumbsup2 You have some beautiful pictures! can't wait to find out how many times you rode RnRC...popcorn::

Well, you just have to be patient a little while longer.....:goodvibes

Thanks, Tammie! Jen is AWESOME- we got along so well, the boys did, too. And of course, Savannah is my favorite dancing partner ever!! :goodvibes I love it when you meet someone on the DIS and it all feels so perfect- that's how it was with Jen & her family- not to mention her hubby, Ron, who is the happiest guy I've ever met- there is ALWAYS a smile on his face!

No problem- I'll definitely do a RCCL trippie- it's a 9 night cruise, I think that amount of time will be absolutely PERFECT!

Oh NOOOOOOO!!!!! I hate lost camera stories- they make me sick to my stomach- photos are soooooo precious, that is so so sad, Myst! :sad1: Was someone else taking pictures for you? That's a little easier, if you have someone else's back-up photos.

Really funny you were all there at YC so soon after me- how was the fireworks cruise?

And your new baby is precious- so tiny!!!:lovestruc

OH 9days how glorious!!!! were doing an 8day Carnival. someday a transatlantic. oh to dream... lol

Thanks for the info on the MNSSHP! My problem next year is that I will most likely arrive on the Wednesday before Halloween and will have a jet lag. So 6 pm will feel like 12 am for me! I really would like not to go on my first day at WDW... And Halloween itself is on Monday. I thought maybe the weired November 1 party would be better, but even that was sold out this year. I guess I just have to go to a crowded party during the weekend or even on Halloween itself... :confused3 Well, I still have some time to ponder that! :goodvibes

Yea- my "dream" cruise would be through the Panama Canal- I think that would be so cool! But there is no way I can do that now- the kids are too old to take out of school that long, and I can't leave them for 2 weeks- it's just too long.

One of the FREE Trips is an Alaskan Cruise !!!:cloud9:

WOW!!!! Is that definite? That is SOOOOO exciting!!! We priced it out for the 4 of us for next summer- it was just too expensive, when we added in airfare. Pods & I decided that will be a cruise without the kids someday...

Yeah!!! It's wonderful! :thumbsup2

REALLY!!!

That's a dilemma- maybe the Friday night party wouldn't be so bad. If there is one. :confused3

Once through the gates, the boys and I made a beeline for RnRC...they were both very envious of the three rides Pods & I had managed to get in in 45 minutes when we were here in September, and they were hoping to beat that record. Well, the park was a bit more crowded today than the night Pods & I had our marathon, but nonetheless, we managed to get in 3 rides in about an hour and a half, I would guess. We also got FPs for later that day. The first ride, we went stand-by and all rode together- in the last car. The last car is CRAZEEEE fun!! Very intense, just like on SM the night before. The boys had the actual back seats, tho- I was next to this nice young man from Wales- who I was happy to meet, as I am a little Welsh myself.

Look at Tyler- always the clown-
PA290428.jpg

The kid from Wales was very impressed- I made him promise me he would be sure to get in the last seat on SM when he went, as he had not been to MK yet.

For rides 2 & 3, we got on the Single Rider line. (Everybody sing Nikki's song- "All the single riders! all the single riders! Ya gotta split UP!") We didn't get split up too badly, we were all on the same limo-

Tyler had gotten the back car AGAIN!!!

Then ride #3-

Tyler's last picture never came up...oh well! At this point, we decided to get off RnRC for a bit- ya see, I had been on enough rollercoaster to feel like I was INVINCIBLE, and I was ready- ready to take the plunge!! My first ride on ToT!!! :scared1:

PA290434.jpg

PA290435.jpg

I have to say, I was VERY impressed with the themeing (DUH!).

PA290436.jpg

PA290437.jpg

We were in line with two grandparents and their 4 year old grandson- who was riding ToT for the FOURTH time today- they said he just loves it! I said to him, "Well, it's my first time, brave little boy, and i'm a little scared." He looked up at me and didn't speak, but I could tell what he had to say...

"What's WRONG with you, chicken lady?????"

Uh-oh.....we're almost there.....
PA290439.jpg

PA290438.jpg

The verdict? After all this scaredy cat fussing of mine for ALL THESE YEARS, waiting until this very day because I would be with my boys on what I anticipated to be my one and only ever ToT ride....

PA290441.jpg

TWO THUMBS UP!!! WAAAAAAAAAY UP!!! :yay: I LOVED it!! The whole T-zone thing was INCREDIBLE- I loved, loved, LOVED the part where the elevator feels like you are floating out into the Twilight Zone. NOW I GET IT!!!! No wonder so many people love to ride! And ya know, I HAD TO buy the picture...and I bet you're going to be glad I did. Because I am soooooo photogenic on ToT that even the people working at the photo desk were impressed by my....expressive outlook on the ride....

img009.jpg

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Crack me up!! Look at the little 4 year old with the grandparents in front of me- like he's on freakin' Cinderella's Carousel!! Look at Timmy!! He was not that happy we were riding- can you tell? Look at the girl behind me- who's more scared, her or ME??? :rotfl2:

That was the BEST! Can't wait for our DISmoms ride this May!

Up next....why I will never win Mother of the Year...:sad2:

Oh! And I wanted to tell you some exciting news....After many, many weeks of relaying DVC resale info and pricing to Pods, I have convinced him to do an add-on!! If all things go well, we will soon be proud BWV owners, as we signed papers to start the process yesterday! Please keep your fingers crossed for us!:goodvibes

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

THAT IS JUST CLASSIC!!!!! And I'll have you know that Ally rode ToT when she was 5 and it's always been her favorite too..... just sayin.....:rolleyes1
