I'm here Ellen and LOVED the Parade pix !!The ballroom dancers are my favorite !! What abusy but great day you had !!!

off to catch up lol

NOWWWW I get the mustaches lol... that IS an AWESOME costume, i give it a 10!

I loved the Cape Buffet... but i love seafood.. my family not so much LOL... they ate like Timmy, I could have taken them to McD's.

We will have a great time at Dland cuz I LOVE to just watch the parades and fireworks too.

I LOVE the monkey loven (not calling you a monkey Jen)

Btw Jen I didnt know you are booked on the Alluer.. YEA i cant wait to read that trippy and see videos.. we are looking to book that one in 2013 for E's 20th yr in the Marines.

Now back to you El, cant wait to read more and see whats coming up! I live vivaciously through you!

FINALLY here and all caught up with EVERYTHING...
1-love, Love, LOVE the moustaches....Now you know how I feel, being a woman of a certain age sportin' a stash!!! LOL:lmao:
2-Really enjoyed your pictures of the parade. So THAT'S what the parade looks like when photographed with a good camera....mine are all blurry and just awful. Hope you don't mind if I steal a few for my photo book!:thumbsup2
3-Love how focused the boys are during MNSSHP....they are on a mission...to ride and get candy and that's what they did. Their focus paid off, where we wandered around like three lost souls!:confused3
4-Finally, so THAT'S what the fireworks look like! AMAZING! I guess sitting behind a tree talking to people from NJ doesn't give you the best view. Though it DID get my daughter a babysitting gig and we met some great new people :goodvibes
Can't wait to read more and find out....Does Tim REALLY walk on water? Does Pods ever do the cha cha slide? Will Tyler ever wear that awesome moustache to the 8th grade dance? And how many monkeys does Ellen kiss? :rotfl2:

Can't wait to read more and find out....Does Tim REALLY walk on water? Does Pods ever do the cha cha slide? Will Tyler ever wear that awesome moustache to the 8th grade dance? And how many monkeys does Ellen kiss? :rotfl2:

Hey Joan!!!! Miss you girlie!!!!! :goodvibes

She said Tim DOES walk on water - or maybe he was moonwalking, not sure....

And Pods was just gassy..... reminds me of a certain DISmoms trip..... but I ain't talkin! :rotfl:

I'm betting on 317 monkeys!!!!

Wahoo! Another Halloween TR! :) Can't wait to read more! Subbing in. :thumbsup2

I forgot to say that your fireworks pics were absolutely AMAZING!!! I can't wait until we take our kids to that in October! Thank you for all the awesome MNSSHP pics! :goodvibes

Hi there! And...you are very welcome, I'm so happy you liked them. :goodvibes You will LOVE your trip to WDW next October- it is FABULOUS!!!

Hi Ellen! I saw your link on Rosie's TR and quickly had to jump over to subscribe!! I somehow managed to unsubscribe frm your AKL TR???? I guess I need to go back and read all the update I missed. But this time I will make sure to stay around!! :thumbsup2

Hi Magdalene!! I am SO GLAD you are here!! I was starting to wonder what happened to you....that has happened to me before- getting unsubscribed from a TR somehow. :confused3 Anyway, I'm glad you're reading along now- and even happier we'll get to meet next November on our vacations!!:yay:

Your pictures are amazing! And what a wonderful seat for the parade!! Love the TR. Can't wait for more.

Thank-you so much....you just made me blush...

Yes!!! We are still locked and loaded for our cruise and when I told Ally about Timmy's not so magical "entrance" she said, in her sweet little chipmunk voice, "That sucks." :rotfl2:

:rotfl:I can totally hear her sweet little & slightly southern chipmunk voice sayin' it!! Although it was not so funny when it happened. But I haven't gotten to that yet- you're ruining my big suspenseful build up!! SHEESH!

Aw man, the second time you guys were in TL/SM we were probably in the vicinity since we finished up over there and probably spent the whole last hour in TL. So close but yet so far....eh? ;) We started walking out at about 10 'til midnight and probably reached the main exit right at midnight, the exit candy barrels were still in full swing. We hit all 4 of 'em, but only one had the real kick-booty Werthers chewies that I am still craving to this day. Wish we had bothered to grab more of those.

I am impressed at how much you guys got done in such a short amount of time. It was a wonderful party, and I'm so glad we decided to do it, it really set the tone for the whole "Halloween" part of the cruise, until when Halloween was over, it was OVER. LOL!!!:goodvibes

We stopped ToTing back in Frontierland @ 12, so by the time we were to the front there was not a barrel to be had. I'll have to keep that in mind should we ever do this again-

And I'm sure we were inches away from each other in TL- I was looking all over for you- especially by the dance party, because I thought you might be over there. So weird!!

Wonderful shot of the headless horseman.

You could have explained away the mustache by saying that you were post menopausel! :scared1:

Thanks- I'll have to remember that excuse for future use!!

Hi Ellen! Looks like a great MNSSHP! Love the facial hair! :rotfl2: That parade is creepy - they do a good job. Malificent has always been scarey to me, too! I love the jelly bean comment - where is that Tag Fairy??? :goodvibes I thought you were cruising at the same time as we were - ours sailed 10/10/10 - Also a Western. I'm looking forward to your TR! I'm most interested in whether you will kiss any monkeys:confused3

I wish that Tag Fairy would come around- I would LOVE a new one!!! But, honestly, i'm still so happy I have even one!

I am so excited about your assesment of RCCL, since we'll be doing that this summer. And it's an eastern- we all really need a change of itinerary.

I really enjoyed reading about the MNSSHP! It sounds like it wasn't too crowded? I really would like to go to one next year and am afraid that the late October ones would be really crowded...

I loved your costume! :thumbsup2 I think I would never had had the courage to walk around like that. But I think the CMs remembering you is a pretty great compliment.

I am really excited about meeting you and your family next year as well! :goodvibes

Hmmm...just this once I think!:rotfl2:

CruiseOct2010441.jpg

Hey Tammie!!! Thanks!!!! :) Good to see ya!!!!

That's too funny!!! My pic of us that night is not nearly as entertaining. And I think you may have been my one and only monkey kiss this trip- well, aren't YOU special!! :rotfl:

What a great TR!

I've loved reading your TR to WDW & your family adventures on the Magic.

Sorry we missed this cruise .... sounds like y'all had a great time .... we head out on the Wonder in Jan for a 7 day Mexican Rivera

Judy

Hi Judy!! How are you? Do the girls know this time, or is it a surprise again? I think that itinerary will be a ton of fun- are you going to DL?

Your photopass pics came out great! Enjoying your TR!

Thank-you!!! So happy you like them!:goodvibes

Ellen,

I'm enjoying your TR!

It was fun meeting your family! Brendan really enjoyed hanging out with Timmy and Tyler. And I know Savannah was happy to have a dance partner for pirate night.;)

Ron

Hi Ron!! We LOVED meeting all of you- you are such a great family! Lots of smiles on those faces of yours! And the boys really likes Brendan, too. And oh....the pirate dancing....can't wait til ya post THAT video...:scared1:

Forgot to tell ya, Love those Shirts you all are wearing! They are awesome. I just wish my girls would wear something like that but that is not what they do. :confused3

We still have candy from trick or treating down there this year. It is not going down very fast here. I remember the first time we were there Halloween must have been sponsored by Hershey's because we had lots of chocolate and really good stuff. Now there is not so much chocolate and more nerd type stuff. :confused3 But it is still the best time to go, IMHO.

And the parade is the best! With the grave diggers and their shovels and the ghost dancers, how can it get any better? Well, the cowboy dancers have cute little, ummmmm, behinds! ;) My favorite parade of them all.

So, I'm curious, did Tim get enough sleep that night?

My kids are still eating the candy- they really liked it because it WAS a lot of skittles/nerds type stuff. That's also what I want them to get, because I won't eat that- I'm more a chocolate girl, like you!

The woman who made the tiedyes is Tarzan's Kat on the DIS. She can probably do all kinds of things, if there's even a chance your girls would ever do it. I'm lucky my kids are ok with tie-dye, but I don't know for how much longer.

And Tim...yes, i think he did get enough sleep on Thursday night.... I was a bad Mommy and well...you'lll see...

I'm here Ellen and LOVED the Parade pix !!The ballroom dancers are my favorite !! What abusy but great day you had !!!
I love all those dancers, too- it was a busy day...but Friday was by FAR much busier...especially the end of the day-

again.. late to the party.. i hate to keep the sterotype alive but.. as always 3pages and i just see your trippy now.

off to catch up lol

NOWWWW I get the mustaches lol... that IS an AWESOME costume, i give it a 10!

Now back to you El, cant wait to read more and see whats coming up! I live vivaciously through you!

Hey Drea!! So happy you've arrived!!

I think Timmy DID eat more stuff- that was just what he came back with first. I thought it was the best thing ever to be eating dinner in minutes after checking in... I'm debating on whether or not to do that on our trip next November....but I think I may want to try somewhere else. Just to try EVERYTHING, ya know? We're going to be getting to WDW late again, but this time no parks- just dinner, maybe check out the fun on the BW, and swimming in Stormalong Bay. The slide is pretty fun at night!!

So weird!!

It was like telepathic! We were by the dance party for like 45 mins!!! :lmao:

I am so excited about your assesment of RCCL, since we'll be doing that this summer. And it's an eastern- we all really need a change of itinerary.

BTW did I ever tell you I have a RCCL TR on the CC boards? I never advertised it over here like Ron said I should have but the link is down there in my siggie. I do talk a lot about the differences between lines, so even though it is not the same ship as you will be sailing on, it should be a little helpful (and hopefully an interesting read. It was an Eastern, too. :)

That's too funny!!! My pic of us that night is not nearly as entertaining. And I think you may have been my one and only monkey kiss this trip- well, aren't YOU special!! :rotfl:

Awwww...I am honored! :worship: BTW you were kissed BY the monkey too as I have the same shot of me kissing you as well.:love2: I think I prefer your pic to mine, as I have some funn-eh looks on my face. Blame it on the sailaway drinks and choclate martinis!!! :rotfl2:

Hi Ron!! We LOVED meeting all of you- you are such a great family! Lots of smiles on those faces of yours! And the boys really likes Brendan, too. And oh....the pirate dancing....can't wait til ya post THAT video...:scared1:

You know it will be so easy to convince him to meet up w/you guys at WDW now! LOL!!! :thumbsup2

Let me tell you, you will love that vid- you are awesome!!!! You are kicking it better than Savannah the competitive dancer. (and being the viciously competitive dance mom that I am, it is rare that I say anyone dances better than MY child! Bwahaha!) But you had it going on! I'm so, so sorry I had to miss it!!! :sad1:

We woke up on Friday morning....and rolled over and slept some more. Ya know, if you don't sleep on vacation, when ARE you going to sleep? Most especially, I did not want to wake young Mr. Tim. Timmy is an awesome kid. But, like anyone else, he needs sleep & food to BE that awesome kid. Otherwise??? Not so awesome!

I was up first, and I went over to the Marketplace to fill my mug with lots & lots of nasty nescafe! It also occured to me that in all my packing for everyone, I had forgotten one thing- my cell phone charger. So...I stopped at the BC Guest Services desk and asked if they knew where it might be possible to buy one anywhere on WDW property. Well, that CM didn't think you could buy them, but she suggested heading over to the YC- at the Convention Center, they would have a charging station i could use. So...I went for a walk...

IMG_0012.jpg

In minutes, i was over at the Yacht Club. I went out front...and had no idea where I was going over there. I asked a CM if she could direct me to the cell phone charging Station- I had left my charger at home, and was hoping they might have some to sell. She said no....but she had another idea.

Theresa the CM asked me to come inside, and walked me over to the front desk, where she asked if we could have a look through their bag of chargers. Unfortunately, none fit. But, she had another idea- she asked if i could wait a bit- sure! So I walked around, enjoying the lobby-

I refilled my mug while I waited, over here-

IMG_0022.jpg

Theresa had asked Grace, from Guest Services, to go backstage and get "the bag". Beyond the bag at the desk, the resort keeps a HUGE bag of chargers back in housekeeping, I think. And in that bag...I got a new charger to take with me on the cruise!! What a relief!! Little did I know at that point how crucial my cell phone service would be on this trip, but it was a very, VERY good thing my phone could be charged throughout vacation. My hero-

IMG_0024.jpg

Heroes, Grace & Theresa-

IMG_0025.jpg

I was SKIPPING back to the room, I was sooooo happy! They had made my day- the YC staff rocked my world!

It was back to the BC to get the boys- today I would be going to DHS with T&T on my own- Pods was staying behind to do his favorite thing on vacation....CHILLAX,baby! He would join us later when we went to EPCOT. On the way back to the Villa, I saw flowers being delivered- GORGEOUS!!

IMG_0026.jpg

See ya later!

Holy Cow....while I have been barely present on the boards you have been an updating monster! I am so impressed. I am not even going to start reading this TR until I get home later tonight. But YOU GO GIRL! Can't wait!

As I was reading about your cell charger dilemna I kept saying to myself (outloud of course, cause that's what I do) "ask for the chargers that housekeeping gets that are never claimed!" And there ya have it!

Also, fwiw, YC is still my favorite of all the resorts I've stayed at. Ambiance, location, and location. Oh, and location........

And I did NOT spoil your Timmy story! I just left folks drooling to know what we are talking about.... there ya have it, a bunch of keyboards need cleaning up now......

The boys were all ready to hit it when I got back to the room- so we said good-bye to Pods, who was staying behind. There are actually 2 reasons he was stayin behind- 1, he always complains I never give him enough relaxation time on vacation,so here was his chance and 2, he was going to buy a 1 day pass, and the upcharge of $50+ to park hop wasn't really thrilling him- after all, we had just been here the month before, and he had spent plenty of time on RnRC when we were. Soooo...just me and my boys went down to the dock. When I took this next photo, T&T were both like, "What are ya takin THAT for?? You're not even stayin there!" Yes I did- when i was here in MAy with my DISmoms- we had that little balcony up there-

The boat finally arrived, and we were glad to hop aboard! Today we would be trading in Tim & Tyler's GAD vouchers, which they earned last winter on Martin Luther King Day. They had worked for a couple of hours shoveling wood chips at a local nature center, and now they were getting their day in Disney!

PA290423.jpg

That was a great promotion- we were so fortunate to have done our day of service back in January, when they were still handing out the passes. All we needed to do was pay that $50+ so they could hit 2 parks in one day- which for them was totally worth it...because we were on a mission.

A mission to ride RnRC as many times as we could!! Up next!

Enjoying another great Podsnel TR. I love the MNSSHP parade but is it just me or don't you think what's up with those cowboys? I'm thinking Brokeback Mountain. :rotfl:
The YC is my absolute favorite resort. I love all those Epcot resorts. It's the best place in WDW to be.
Congrats to the boys on their GAD. I couldn't help but notice your last name. I was going to ask if you were related to Dr. Seuss but I looked it up and he only has one s in his name.
My Timmy is awful when it comes to getting up in the morning. Before he could drive himself to school I drove him many days because he missed the bus.
Looking forward to hearing about the cruise.

FINALLY here and all caught up with EVERYTHING...
1-love, Love, LOVE the moustaches....Now you know how I feel, being a woman of a certain age sportin' a stash!!! LOL:lmao:

That really means alot coming from you- you are the Halloween QUEEN in my book!! (For those of you who don't know- Joanie here throws a TDF AMAZING Halloween party every year- her costumes are second to NONE! Her house is decorated to the hilt, and....I've hardly been because it seems we're always in some conflict (this year we were at a family wedding). So WOW, Joanie- I feel pretty good about Tyler's choice! Can't wait to tell him he did GREAT!!!:thumbsup2
2-Really enjoyed your pictures of the parade. So THAT'S what the parade looks like when photographed with a good camera....mine are all blurry and just awful. Hope you don't mind if I steal a few for my photo book!:thumbsup2 I can post plenty of blurry, ill- lit photos from my last Halloween parade, too...just ask!!
3-Love how focused the boys are during MNSSHP....they are on a mission...to ride and get candy and that's what they did. Their focus paid off, where we wandered around like three lost souls!:confused3I guess it's good to know where you want to go....we STILL have candy...want some???
4-Finally, so THAT'S what the fireworks look like! AMAZING! I guess sitting behind a tree talking to people from NJ doesn't give you the best view. Though it DID get my daughter a babysitting gig and we met some great new people :goodvibesHey!! That's where I usually sit! That really should be Tyler's babysitting gig!! :woohoo::rotfl:
Can't wait to read more and find out....Does Tim REALLY walk on water? Does Pods ever do the cha cha slide? Will Tyler ever wear that awesome moustache to the 8th grade dance? And how many monkeys does Ellen kiss? :rotfl2:

I only kissed Jen- she was my only cruise monkey on this trip! And who knows? Maybe Tyler will have his own mustache by the 8th grade dance!!:scared1:

Love you, Joanie....

What DISmom trip???? Who was gassy??? Was I there????

And WRONG!!! The answer is ONE MONKEY to the million $$$$ question! (Sorry girlfriend...)

:goodvibes

Well, ours was perfect- there were crowds, but nothing insane- we were able to do whatever we wanted, and if something became too crowded, we just moved on to something else. Ours was on Oct. 28th, and it was a Thursday- so that weeknight thing probably helped. The last time we went (which was also right before our cruise) we went on Halloween- it was a Friday, and it was fine. Joan just went on a Sunday (Oct 31) and said it was packed. So try to go during the week, and you will LOVE IT!!!!!

Thank-you for complimenting our compliment!! I totally agree! :goodvibes

It was like telepathic! We were by the dance party for like 45 mins!!!

BTW did I ever tell you I have a RCCL TR on the CC boards? I never advertised it over here like Ron said I should have but the link is down there in my siggie. Yea...well, we'll see on that vid when you post it just how awesome I am....I told Savannah, this is not my best thing, line dancing- but she was GREAT inspiration!!! LOVED it!!!!

And I read your CC TR- how could I not??? It was fantastic- made me feel very comfortable about our cruise this summer...coming from such a DCL girl and all.....

Holy Cow....while I have been barely present on the boards you have been an updating monster! I am so impressed. I am not even going to start reading this TR until I get home later tonight. But YOU GO GIRL! Can't wait!

Hey stranger!! How's that kitchen? I HAVE been an updating monster ever since getting back from Tennessee....crazy, huh? So glad you're back- I've missed you!!

Yea...you knew that 'cuz I texted you while it was happening...DUH! :rotfl2:
j/k!

YC is very....elegant. I think sometimes people think that = stuck-up, but that is really not the case. Tremendously great CMs- and it's gorgeous- love it- I would stay there without a doubt!

that is why I LOVE disney. they take awesome care of their guests.

I completely agree...ALL of their guests.:lovestruc

Love your trip report!! The pics are awesome! Great talking to you yesterday!

Terri

Terri! I was so happy to put a face with our emails!!! Great talking to you yesterday, too- I hope we meet up again, soon!! And I am so excited you're reading my TR- anything you'd like to add.....from your own Trip experience at the same time???:goodvibes

How awesome you got a Charger !!! We left one the first time we went !!But Pop called and mailed it back to us !!!Judy was very impressed !!!

I am here too, Ellen!

How I wish, everyone would start their trip reports on a weekend, so I can get in from the very beginning! :rotfl2:

Okay, now that I found you, I am going back to read! Will pop in again later! :flower3:

Enjoying another great Podsnel TR. I love the MNSSHP parade but is it just me or don't you think what's up with those cowboys? I'm thinking Brokeback Mountain. :rotfl:

My Timmy is awful when it comes to getting up in the morning. Before he could drive himself to school I drove him many days because he missed the bus.
Looking forward to hearing about the cruise.

WOW! Thanks for the very generous compliment!! :goodvibes I'm so glad you're reading along again!!

I'm with you- those cowboys are TOTALLY brokeback mtn. :rotfl: I do love watchin them, though!

It is one of life's great ironies that our last name is one Dr Seuss's + one more s....if you only knew how much Sean loves his books. Of course, i did too, when i was small- they were the first books I learned to read- so they were the first books I read to Sean...we have probably purchased, in his lifetime of 16 years, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 Green Eggs & Ham books- that has to be his all time favorite. Go Dog Go is another one...actually, almost ALL of them are so important to him. Dr Seuss is a BIG part of our life, over here!:thumbsup2

How awesome you got a Charger !!! We left one the first time we went !!But Pop called and mailed it back to us !!!Judy was very impressed !!!

Ya know, if I would have thouht about it, I probably would have remembered that it is common in any hotel for them to have bags of the chargers- people are always leaving them- I have almost left them many, many times. But I was in panic mode, and not thinking too clearly, I guess. So awesome they mailed yours back to you! The CM said that occasionally people call looking for them, but usually folks just write them off.

I am here too, Ellen!

How I wish, everyone would start their trip reports on a weekend, so I can get in from the very beginning! :rotfl2:

Okay, now that I found you, I am going back to read! Will pop in again later! :flower3:

Hi Karin!! I'm so happy you are here! :yay: I have been lurking on your Trs- everytime I go to post, I get interrupted- but I PROMISE to post something today!! I am LOVING the food porn over there- you ALWAYS do such an amazing job of describing everything, and of course, I am completely in awe of your loooooong trips! :worship:

OK- Pods has brought down the Christmas from the attic- time to decorate!:santa:
