Planning Our Happily Ever After - A Disneymoon PTR! (NEW 7/13 - TR Link!)

I like your plan of getting up early and then going back to rest later in the day. B/C the crowds may be a little heavier b/c of the holiday (at least until the weekend is over). You should be able to get all of those attractions done! :)

That plan always seems to work well for us. Even though we aren't morning people at home, we just can't sleep in while at Disney, so early mornings in the parks are fun. However, we can always manage an afternoon nap! :lmao: We've been very fortunate to go during low-crowd times recently, so I'm hoping the larger crowds won't be too much of a shock!

DAY THREE (EPCOT), Saturday, November 27

Day 3 will start early again! We’ll be waking up around 7 again with plans to leave POR by 7:45 so we can get over to Epcot for our 8:30 ADR at Akershus! I know we’re both looking forward to spending a morning with the princesses again!

Once we finish eating, Miguel will make his ritual first-of-the-morning dash for Soarin fastpasses while I wait by Test Track. Once he returns with the FP’s in hand we’ll take a spin on one of our favorite attractions!

Next up will be Mission Space. We will both do the green version and then Miguel will probably want to go back for the orange side. I’ll wait outside for that one!

Hopefully by this time it will be time for our ride on Soarin! We’ll head over to the Land where we’ll be greeted bright colors and familiar smells.

We’ll probably grab another set of FP before we ride on Soarin so we can use them later.

After Soarin, I’m sure we’ll take a ride on the Living with the Land attraction – another favorite of ours! Maybe we’ll check out Captain EO next? The Seas with Nemo and Friends? We’ll just have to see what we feel like!

Eventually, I’m sure we’ll be ready for lunch, where Sunshine Seasons will most likely win out!

Probably by early afternoon we’ll be ready for a break. We’ll use up our other Soarin FPs if we haven’t already, and stop by Spaceship Earth before we return to POR for some relaxing.

Around 5:00, we’ll leave to head over to the Poly where we’ll be enjoying dinner at ‘OHana! We’ve been dying to eat here again since January and we can’t wait to feast on all of the yummy foods here!

Next we’ll do some resort décor hopping, which I’m very excited about! I can’t wait to see the giant gingerbread house at the GF.

And the beautiful tree at the WL!

Finally it will be back to POR for the evening!

i think Day 3 looks very realistic for another 7am wake up call :thumbsup2 So jealous that you are going to get to see all the decorations!!!!!

Wait, you are DRIVING the day after your wedding????? I hope you have a long Disneymoon planned!!! Our wedding ended at 1am. We had to leave for the airport at 4am. We just stayed at the country club where we got married. My poor parents had to come back and drive us. It took both my parents AND a hotel employee banging on the door and calling the room and our cells to wake us up!

I figured people might think we're a little crazy for driving to Disney for the honeymoon! For us it just makes the most sense - it's a very doable drive, and we love having a car at wdw. We're excited to be on the monorail, but obviously that won't take us everywhere. So we figure why spend the money on flight tickets and a rental car when we can drive? :confused3

Our reception should end around 11:00 (that's what time we have the ballroom until) so I'm hoping we'll be back to the hotel by 12:00 and asleep by 1:00. We aren't planning on leaving the following day until after 10:00, so hopefully it will all work out!

looks like a great plan! ... Your trip is sooo soon! :cool1:

My parents & Grandma were in WDW last week, and they went over to the Grand Floridian to show my Grandma where DF & I are staying for honeymoon! they said the giant gingerbread house was starting to be constructed :santa:

How sweet that your parents took your grandma over to see the GF. :cloud9: I can't wait to see the gingerbread house! I'm sure it's going to be amazing!

The gingerbread house is amazing.. I love that there's actually a little 'shop' inside it too! remember to check out the one in the American Adventure Pavillion too :goodvibes

I thought it was so cute they took Grandma to the GF too.. she said it was very big & posh! they got a cocktail from Narcoossee's and stood outside to watch Wishes :wizard: - it's only the second time she's ever been to the USA, and she seems to love WDW! this trip she has even been on Test Track & Mission Space (green version lol); not bad for a 74 year old lady! :cutie:

Hope you're having a great weekend

I love her reaction to the GF! It's definitely big and posh! :goodvibes And what a great idea to grab a drink from Narcoossee's and watch Wishes! I'm not sure what time we'll make it over to the GF during out resort decor jaunt, but if we're there during that time we might just have to do that!

Plans sound great! :thumbsup2 And I don't blame you one bit for passing on M:S, orange side. I did the orange side for the first time a couple trips ago and will NEVER do it again! I love Sunshine Seasons SO much... I dream about smelling those wonderful smells that can only be experienced in the Land pavilion! :goodvibes

I love the Land! That smell (whatever it is) is so Disney for me! :goodvibes

DAY FOUR (DHS), SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2010

We will be continuing the trend this day of attempting to get to the parks for rope drop! I definitely want to get my hands on one of those coveted TSM FP’S! We’ll plan on leaving POR around 8:15, and I’ll most likely grab a quick bite from the food court again before we leave.
b94fb682.jpg

Once we’re at DHS we’ll obvisouly be making the mad dash to TSM! Neither Miguel nor I have ever been on TSM so I’m excited to get to try out something new! I haven’t decided yet if we’ll get a FP, then ride, or ride then get a FP. Suggestions?
61262329.jpg

After TSM we’ll most likely head over to the other side of the park for ToT and RnRC. Miguel will go on ToT (since I HATE this one), and then we’ll find out if I’m feeling brave enough to go on RnRC for the first time. I chickened out in line back in January!
bb0c47d1.jpg

Around 11:30 I’d like us to stop for lunch since we’re having a fairly early dinner (6:00) at Sci-Fi. The place at the top of my list is Starring Rolls!

After lunch will see what attractions look appealing to us. Maybe will go on the Great Movie ride, or try out the Backlot Tour again. I think Star Tours is still closed. We aren’t the biggest DHS fans, so we never spend too much time here. Before we leave though, we’ll be using our FP for TSM if the return window has opened up.

The afternoon will be spent relaxing at POR again. Pool? Nap? Whatever we fee like!

In the evening it will be back to DHS for dinner and the Osborne Lights! We have a 6:00 ADR at Sci-Fi. This is a new place for us and we’re really looking forward to try it!

After dinner we’ll make our way over to the Streets of America where we’ll spend some tine taking in the lights. I’m hoping we can find a PP photographer to take our picture because I think this would be a great spot to have a picture taken that we can give out as Christmas gifts!

When we’ve had enough of the Osborne Lights, we’ll most likely leave the park. Miguel might feel the need to take another ride on ToT or RnRC if the lines are short enough.

If we aren’t too tired, we might head over to the BC/YC and BWI to take a quick look at the Christmas decorations there.

Finally, it will be back to Riverside to rest up for our final park day.

Sounds great! :thumbsup2 You will LOVE Sci-Fi! I tried it for the first time a couple trips ago (the day before my now husband proposed!) :goodvibes We really, really loved it and can't wait to go back!!! Make sure to get a milkshake!

Woaaaaahhhhh hold up. You never been on TSM???? oh you MUST get a FP!

Ok now that we cleared that up- nice day 4 plans. Starring Rolls and Sci Fi are our fav 2 food options at DHS. They have really good burgers (better than the CS places). They aren't on the menu but you can still get them with any topping you want. The chicken bruscetta sandwich is also good.

So jealous that you get to see Osbourne lights ;)

That sounds like a great park day! I would recommend get a FP for TSM, then ride it!

You will love RnRC! It is such a smooth roller coaster! I feel like it doesn't jerk you around at all. Plus, the start is AWESOME! :thumbsup2

(But you might not want to take my word for it...I love ToT! :rotfl:)

I have my mind set on an oreo milkshake! I really hope we like Sci-Fi! :goodvibes

Never been on TSM! :sad2: I'm glad to hear you can still order the burger - that's the reason we're going! :lmao:

Thanks for the TMS tips! We'll see if I make it on RnRC. ;)

DAY FIVE (AK/EP), MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29

Before I tell about our day 5 plans, I wanted to do a quick celebration for today being 7 months until the disneymoon! :woohoo: It really is hard to believe how quickly time has flown - the wedding used to seem so far away but it's becoming very real now! That's exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time! :lmao:

Since I'm doing our day 5 plans today, I think I'll skip my normal 7 month countdown - I hope you all don't mind! Now - on to the plans!

Sadly, our final park day will come way too quickly on this trip. :sad1: Still though, we've got an exciting day planned! We'll start off with yet another early morning as we make our way to AKL for breakfast at Boma!
DSCN0155.jpg

I'd like for us to leave POR around 7:30 for our 8:00 ADR. Maybe if we're a little early we can go ahead and get seated - AK has morning EMH this day and I don't want to wait too long to get to the park.

After a (hopefully) yummy meal, it will be time to head over to AK! Our first stop will of course be our favorite - EE!
c0d710b0.jpg

I'm sure we'll ride and then grab a FP for later. We'll also go on a safari, and see some dinosaurs. Maybe if the weather is good we'll take a spin on Kali too!

And hopefully catch a few shows! We had a great time at Flights of Wonder in January, and I of course am hoping to catch FOTLK for the first time!
5ebbfcb4.jpg

We'll head back to POR around 1 or so, where we'll rest up for our evening at Epoct!

We normally like to do MK on our final day, but because of the short time frame we are changing it up a bit. We have a 7:00 ADR at La Hacienda and we are both really excited to try it out!

After dinner, we'll explore some of the holiday decor around the WS...
2dc43a82.jpg

And end the evening with Illuminations.
4c21dace.jpg

Sadly, it will then be time to return to POR to pack up.

We don't have any plans for our departure day (other than driving home), so no cute itinerary for this day. :sad1: Since we drive we like to be well-rested and I'm afraid venturing to a park even for an hour or two might be too much. You never know though - maybe we'll feel adventurous! ;)

lovely plans for that day! I can't wait to try La Hacienda, maybe honeymoon :goodvibes

Will Illuminations have the 'holiday tag' in November? I hope it does for you... it's breathtaking!! the ground shakes, there's that many fireworks! :wizard:

7 months til Disneymoon for me today too... wow!!
