Hours for the future cruise desk

Does anyone know if the Future Cruise Desk is open on embarkation day or not?
Are there specific hours?

We are cruising on Sunday 7 Nov 2010 and we know we want to book on the fantasy but I rather speak to someone face to face to book, rather then fill out a card and hope they get back to me. I'd wait until later in the cruise but I have to have my cruise booked before the 9th of November in order to qualify for an OBC offer that is being given through my TA's company. If I wait too long I may miss out as I need to email her the confirmation and information by the 9th.

Yes they are only open certain hours. You can look at the Navigators that are linked in the FAQ sticky at the top of the boards to get an idea of the times they are open.

I booked my last cruise on embarkation day. As pp said, yes there were only certain hours they were open. I booked after my main dining got over but before the show that night and was the only one waiting which was nice. I agree it's nice to get it done early on in the cruise!

I also recommend getting there a few minutes early. On our past cruise there was always a line!

Well I had rather drop my name in a box, and let me deal with that once we get home. I do not want to waste any of my time on the ship. So if this is an option, this is what I will do.

I sent an email to DCL asking about your idea. The response is below.

The onboard offer is a specified percentage of discount off the voyage
fare (does not include the cost of the vacation protection plan, motor
coach transportation, airfare, or government taxes and fees) and only
applies to Categories 4 - 11. Also included is an onboard credit which
is offered on all categories.

The offer can only be booked while onboard and is only valid if a
deposit is applied to the reservation prior to disembarking the ship.
Unfortunately, once you leave the ship the offer is no longer
applicable.

Any Guest booking requests on debark morning are serviced at the Guest
Services Desk, Deck 3, Midship from 7:00am - 8:30am. Please note the
hours are subject to change. In addition, you cannot drop off a quote
card prior to disembarkation and expect to receive the offer if you have
not made a deposit for the reservation before leaving the ship.

Ok, If I have to I will. But I thought that I have read where people had to do this because the rebooking people could not get to them. I'm not sure. Anyone else ever read anything of the such or am I losing my mind.
