Basking in the Glow of the (not so) Creepy Clown -2/11-Pictures, Final Thoughts, PTR!

BTW, Brook, I meant to mention earlier, that indeed the Tree House IS a great photo op kind of gig. I got some really GREAT photos from up there, that I really love! Sometimes the out of the way places afford the best magic!:thumbsup2

A CM told me that it's a pretty cool spot to watch Wishes, too. Assuming you've seen it enough times to not mind missing the music.

Love the update Brooke!

Great pics from the treehouse. I wouldn't know what it looked like up there. :rolleyes1

You should of thanked a CM that the tiki room was closed! :rotfl::rotfl:

Love this!!!!!! Poor Henry has the ball & chain on! :rotfl::rotfl:

Those desserts at the dessert party looked awesome! popcorn:: Your pics from there came out good too. The view isn't as bad as I thought it would of been from that angle.

While I have never eaten at Casey's, you can tell your DH that I don't like corn dogs either... {runs and hides}

Boys will be boys! :goodvibes

Henry first found a sword and then quickly found...

Yep, boys will be boys. I have seen many boys, big and small, sword fighting in that shop, but never any girls and women. I like seeing the guys in the Star Wars shop, too, at Hollywood. They get into their Star Wars stuff.

As for the food, all of it looks luscious. I would have had more than one piece of watermelon on my plate. I am a watermelon fiend!

I would love to have just watched Henry exploring life and learning new things at the Bear Country Jamboree and in Pirates and the Tiki Room. So much of the fun of a trip is watching the little ones absorb and enjoy it all.

Great update Brooke, I love this photo they're both so intent on watching the fire works! I would print this and frame it. It's like Disney has captured them with it's magic.

The fireworks dessert party looks awesome. But I'm still sad that they did that in our fave place to watch fireworks in...for free hehe

So....bad news...remember that wedding of a close friend I mentioned? It's in 2 weeks, in St. Lucia. Joe and I escaping to St. Lucia for a few nights while Henry is with his Grammy in Minnesota?

Well...St. Lucia was hit by Hurricane Tomas. The resort is in no shape for a wedding, or any sort of guest.

My poor friend. She is attempting to rearrange and relocate her wedding. :sad1:

I don't have any solid details yet. Sigh. I just feel so bad for her! It will come together one way or another, but man. Ugh. Not good.

I gotta figure our flight situation too - we might end up with a nice credit on Jet Blue that will cover our Feb/March flights - so that's a sliver lining for us at least. :goodvibes (Hopefully we don't loose all our money!)

Oh, that's terrible. I hope she can get a "Plan B" put in place quickly. They'll always have something to talk about on their anniversary.

Oh no!!!! We were supposed to go to to St. Criox for our honeymoon until Hugo paid a visit. Somehow my travel agent at the time got us booked to the Bahamas with only a minor airport adjustment (EWK instead of LGA) . Of course our wedding was in Pa not St. Lucia. :scared1: Hopefully all will work out and she will remember that for future anniversaries. We do. :cutie:

I am so sorry for your friend!! I hope she will be able to figure something out and I hope she will have a wonderful marriage after this bumpy start!! :goodvibes

Oh no! People who do exotic weddings are brave souls. They are so beyond beautiful but they are so risky. Sorry you won't be able to escape too. That sounded like a nice excuse to have some grown-up time.

:eek:Holy cow! That is terrible!! Sheesh, talk about stressful. Your poor friend. I hope she can work something out! How disappointing for everyone involved. My sister had a very stressful wedding...the pastor didn't show up! I am not kidding! That fool fell asleep watching the game! So, we're all waiting around for him wondering where he is and finally the wedding coordinator called someone she knew who was a pastor and he showed up in a Hawaiian shirt and khaki pants! The pics are hilarious and my sister can laugh about it now. But it sure wasn't funny then!

And, like you said, the silver lining would be Jetblue credit! Nothing wrong with that! Feb. trip, done!:thumbsup2

I am truly sorry for your friend Brook. To have one of the happiest days of your life destroyed by a hurricane is devastating. I truly hope she can get something pulled together for it.

Brook, I am so sorry to hear about your friend's wedding plans. I hope she is able to alter things and everything will run smoothly for her. I also hope you don't lose too much money on your tickets.

Sad to see her plans "blown away". I"m sure in 20 years they will laugh about it, but now it must be so stressful to find other arrangements. I think maybe EVERY year after they are married they should take a trip to St. Lucia in honor of Tomas. :confused3:rolleyes1

I just found your trip report and am all caught up! The next time I will be at WDW will be the first trip with my son. He will be turning 2 during the trip! It is great to hear travels with such a little one. I need tips!

Oh no! I am so sorry! Your friend must be beside herself trying to get a wedding pulled together when the bottom dropped out. I feel so bad for her. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life... and most stressful without having to completely re-plan it.
