Best LV hotel based on my WDW favorites??

My DH and I and two other couples are looking at going to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday next May.

I've read some of the reviews but I'm still really undecided about where to stay so I thought if I said which my favorite WDW hotels are then you might have an idea of my style. My favorite is Boardwalk (love the decor, evening activities and we don't mind walking everywhere) followed closely by Beach Club.

The hotels I have on my list are Treasure Island, MGM or MGM Signatures, Mirage, Bellagio (not fountain view) and Mandalay Bay.

hahaha, Boardwalk is my fav in WDW too! Ok, so you like Deluxes, so depending on your $$ would recommend - Caesars $$$, Paris/Ballys $$, Harrahs $ (I am strickly a Harrahs property girl, which is why I recommend these) - one thing you have to remember in LV, there is action EVERYWHERE, doesn't matter where you stay- I would totally recommend staying mid strip, much easier to get everywhere, stay away from the ends of strip. Also, good thing you don't mind walking, because nothing in LV is as close as it seems- strip looks very condensed but everything takes a long while to walk to, but everything is walkable (to me anyway) - feel free to ask any questions you like, been to Vegas dozens of times and love to talk about it.

We where in Vegas in july. We stayed at The Signature in a 1 bedroom suite which was excellent. Like PP said , everything looks close but it can be quite a walk to where you want. My DW liked the atmosphere of Cesars, and would like to try there the next time, but loved the Sig,

As PP mentioned it's much nicer being mid strip. I would knock Mandalay Bay off your list. It has a really nice pool but is far away. Don't underestimate when people say even though something is next store it's that close. The properties take several minutes to walk by on the sidewalk and even more if you go inside to enjoy some AC.

Okay, well, none of the hotels you've listed really have the theming you like. To be honest, I can't think of anything in Las Vegas that does. When there was a Boardwalk Hotel/Casino, you would've been sorely disappointed!

Activities are everywhere, so don't base your decision on that.

Bellagio is the most centrally-located of the properties you list. It, along with MGM Signatures, probably has the best rooms/amenities. While Bellagio has great pools, Mandalay Bay's is the best of the hotels you listed - but the Mirage is a close second. That's also the second best-located property. TI is third. MGM/Signatures is at the south end of the Strip, but has the advantage of the monorail.

Speaking of the Strip and walking everywhere, because Las Vegas is so flat, distances are deceiving. Everything looks close, but from Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere is three miles - and Nevada is pretty darn warm in May. Be prepared. Drink a lot. Of water.
