And that's the end of pictures for 10/23! I discovered why I had so many pics from this day. I saw the Move It thing, the 3:00 parade, the castle show, and Spectro. So lots of pics!

I can't believe your camera is 4 years old! Mine is one year old and I feel like it takes crappy pictures! I've been reading that Panasonics are the best brand to get for point and shoot, which is weird, because I would assume it would be Canon or Sony. My camera is a Canon and it's ok, but it could be better!

I was so excited about your DIS meet! When I got simultaneous texts from you and Heather I almost died of jealousy! I wanted to be there with all of you so badly! Jen and I were texting about our desperation to be there too the entire time!

It was pretty good! The portion was HUGE, but it was tasty!

I dunno about the others, but I was having a great time My camera's good for daylight shots, but the nighttime ones just suck so bad. The flash looks awful and without, you can't see what it is.

I never got to go to WDW when I was a kid, so Spectro was the first evening parade I saw at MK. I still love it The music from MSEP was fun, but I just didn't like the parade.

It was awesome! It brought back memories of dancing (literally) down Main Street with a couple of my old coworkers at 4am After we were done cleaning in Liberty Square or Fantasyland, we'd get sent up to Main St to help up there.

The dismeet was a lot of fun They continued throughout the week My LGMH was in the holder on my lanyard, so I'm not sure how many people actually saw it. I did run into a few Disers, though

Sunday, October 24, 2010 - Pop Century, MNSSHP

While I may not have slept in as late as I'd have liked to, I still woke up around 11:30am or so. I decided to go swim for a bit and get lunch to give the housekeeper a chance to do the room. I went to Everything Pop and got beef and broccoli, a fruit cup, and a red Powerade.

The beef and broccoli wasn't bad, but it tasted like the frozen kind you can buy in the grocery store and make at home. I make beef and broccoli at home from scratch (as well as chicken and broccoli), and I thought it was very substandard. The fruit cup was good, but the grapes were soft, and the Powerade was fine.

I met up with hannahoh from here on the Dis, as we'd gotten in touch here because I offered up my arcade voucher on the Pop FAQ, since I had no interest in using it. We chatted for a little bit and then went our separate ways.

I went to the computer pool for a swim and took pictures of things along the way.

This is Pooh. He became my little trip mascot. He spent most of the trip just hanging out on my lanyard with Eeyore, who arrived the next day!

I was born this year!

My family's planning a reunion in 2012 and I think we'll be staying at Pop, so I really want to get a picture of my brother pretending to be squished by the turpentine can. We LOVED Roger Rabbit growing up.

When my brother was born. I thought I'd taken a picture of 1986, but I apparently didn't. That's when my sister was born.

After swimming, I took a shower and got dressed in my costume for the evening. I'd made a black and white polka dot skirt and wore it with a white polo that I wear for work, and I also wore black gym shorts underneath. Once I was ready to go, I headed for the buses.

I got to MK just before 4 and entered with my MNSSHP ticket.

I wandered a bit before I stopped at Casey's for some french fries and cheese sauce (of which, I have no pic for some reason). After that, I wandered into Adventureland and went into the Tiki Room.

While I was there, Sharon called me and left me a voice mail, but I couldn't hear a thing she said, so I called her from Frontierland. Still couldn't hear her, so we resorted to texting. She and her DH were on Main Street, so I headed up that way to meet with them and took a picture of the pianist at Casey's.

We wandered into Liberty Square and rode HM twice. I rode once with each of them, for trivia purposes. We also did the magic shots.

That's just the Ichabod display at Sleepy Hollow.

We went to Crystal Palace to wait for LuvChefMic (Ruthie), who never showed. Neither of us had heard from her in weeks, so we were hoping she'd still show up, but she didn't, so we checked in as three instead of four.
