Basking in the Glow of the (not so) Creepy Clown -2/11-Pictures, Final Thoughts, PTR!

How exciting that you Mom is going to be moving to Florida!! :woohoo:

All of your Toon Town pictures are super cute. I love that giftshop too, it's so huge!!

I had no idea it was THAT big. It's so awesome!!! A little bit of everything in there.

yay for you mom! My mom is planning on retiring in 2012. We all can't wait. They have planned for years to move to Florida at some point... for the winters anyway. We'll see if that happens. Maybe we'll have to go house hunting with them when we're there in 2012.

Great pictures of Toon Town. I think the latest I've heard is that it will close in Feb. but that could change again since I think originally it was supposed to be closed by now. Madeline was looking through my Disney book the other day and got very excited about going to see Minnie's house. I had to break it to her that it wasn't going to be there anymore. I told her that there will be an Ariel ride. Her response, " I like Ariel mom but I want to see Minnie's house". Poor thing thinks that "I" have the power to keep it open.

Oooh, that would be fun to go house hunting with them! Are they looking to be in the Orlando area? My Mom is looking at Leesburg/Fruitland Park area.

That is so cute and sad about Madeline wanting you to make sure Minnie's house stays there! I remember Henry going through a stage where he thought I had all the power in the world to make things different, the way he wanted. So cute! I sure do wish they would keep Minnie's though, just relocate it!

I haven't spent any time in ToonTown in a really long time, so thanks so much for all the great pictures! :thumbsup2

You are welcome! I'm sad to see it go, but excited for what we are getting!

Great news on your Mom moving to Florida!! That is so exciting and sounds like just what she needs :goodvibes
Great pictures of Toontown.....love the pictures of H in Minnie's house and the pictures of you both in ears is just adorable!!!!

Tracy

I think it will be just what she needs - even if the relationship doesn't work out. Right now she lives in a small town full of young families and old people. She's single, and VERY much an "on the go" person. My sister and her kids have lived with her for years, and she's very, very, very ready to NOT be living with them anymore - she loves them, but she's done and wants to be a real Grandma to the kids again, instead of like a second parent since they all live in the same house. It's a tough situation, I'm so glad it has an end in sight finally!

I love your pictures of ToonTown! I've only been there once, since I never have any little kids with me, but I might have to poke my nose in again this week, since soon it will be gone.

And how exciting for your mom! :cool1:

Ahhhh! You are going this week! Have a WONDERFUL time! And yes, if you can, peek into Toon Town and take a walk through Minnie's house - it's cute and will only take a few minutes, it will be gone soon!! Take a ride on Barnstormer too, it's more wicked than it looks!

Awwww, so much fun visiting Toon Town with Henry! Aren't the potato head parts awesome?
I took some home in July as well then started adding to the collection from Ebay...
Next trip I'm bringing home more because my students LOVE them!
Two other teachers have placed orders as well....

The Potato Head parts are the BEST! I'm already planning on getting another box, or perhaps the big Tater this time and just fill it with everything. Henry plays with it almost every single day (and I want to buy another Tater Head so I can play too! ;)) How very cool that you can use them at school too!

Seems like I am a little late to this TR party, but I have really enjoyed everything I have read so far, especially living the fun through Henry's eyes. What a cutie! I am also really interested in seeing your BWV and Boardwalk pics and reading about it. For an upcoming trip in the distant future I would love to rent points from a DVC member and stay there. Ok, off to read more about your first full day!

:welcome: No worries on being late!!

We just LOVED the BWV! We are staying there again in Feb/March (along with a split at BLT). The BWV is pretty low on points too, which is nice because if you rent for there it won't cost as much! I think it's a fantastic location. People don't like the lack of true counter service, but Epcot is around the corner, so lots of options there instead.

Hey Brook! I'm finally all caught up again! I haven't been on DIS for a few days (maybe a week?) because I've been spending way too much time researching the new Vinylmation releases (Park 5 coming out Oct 22 and Urban 5 coming out Nov 6). I seriously need to stop my obsession! :lmao:

Anyway, I'm all caught up now & I'm also trying to post an update on my report. Its a "non-Disney" related update & its going to be a very good one! I probably won't have it done this evening (but hopefully by tomorrow) so you'll have to check it out (if you like country music!) ;)

I absolutely :lovestruc your updates! When I saw your update from Beaches & Cream, it reminded me of our trip! Right across from the pool, beside that windmill, is Hurricane Hanna's where we ate lunch the day of our private photo session! It brought back good memories! I also can't believe how close I actually was to Beaches & Cream!!! It was on my "to do list" for that day but we never made it there! If I had known we were so close, I would've definitely went over! Oops!

Glad you made it to a rope drop...we've still never been! I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations...I was actually afraid of that happening, that's why I never rush everyone around just to get there. I don't want my DH or DS to be mad at me because I made them rush all morning & then they don't enjoy it. But since you said yours was missing the song & dancing, I guess I'll have to wait to hear about your next experience with rope drop before forming an opinion myself!

Aren't those chocolate croissants good??? YUMMY!!!!! They are soooo good! I got one at DHS at Starring Rolls! :goodvibes Your selections all looked very good!

Glad to see all of the pictures of the Halloween decor at MK! I can't wait to see it in person someday! I love the lightposts the best along with the Mickey pumpkin heads along the front gates! Very nice!

Thanks for posting the pics from Fantasyland! Its great to see how its changed since I was there in June! I figured that a ton had happened...unfortunately I don't have any pics over the construction walls because we didn't ride Dumbo (waaaay too long wait lines!) but I saw other people's reports from June.

I'm glad you got to visit ToonTown! Luke loved the houses as well! He talks about Mickey's house all the time now. I'm not sure he realized Mickey had a house before (just a clubhouse like on tv...lol) I loved seeing the pictures of Henry in Minnie's house...all the kids LOVE that kitchen! I completely forgot to visit the ToonTown gift shop this past trip! Last trip, it was my favorite shop but I missed it this time. They have sooo much in there!

Loved the pictures from your solo trip down the Boardwalk! Looks like alot of good eating places there! I'll definitely check it out next trip. All the pictures you took of the Boardwalk, inside and outside, are beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing them!

I almost forgot...you know that coral colored shirt with the black Mickey heads on it that you saw in the Boardwalk gift shop? That's the shirt that I saw at the airport & was completely obsessed with finding it again at the parks! :goodvibes I finally found it again at Mousegears at Epcot!

I am soooooo excited for you & your mom!!! :woohoo:

How exciting for her to get to move up her retirement date...AND move to the greatest place in the entire world!!! :goodvibes That is amazing to hear that she is so happy & that you guys will get to take more trips to FL!

I'm so far behind on the DIS too! Henry is over at a friends house today - and is napping there - so I get a few hours to myself at home. The house is a disaster, but I'm sitting here DISing. :rotfl: I love it!!

Minnie's kitchen is so, so fun! When we were there last time it was a lot more crowded, and Henry was younger, so we didn't take as much time there to play. This time Henry did it all - and I had no idea the cake in the stove inflated and the pots and utensils above moved. It was so cute!

I am really loving some of the new merchandise Disney has out, like the coral shirt. It's Mickey, yet has style. :thumbsup2 I just wish it wasn't the SAME stuff in EVERY shop. I get why they have changed it to that, but still...I miss some of the unique things!

Loved the Toontown update! There are some fun little touches in there and even though we don't visit it often I'll be sad to see it go.

Holidays at Mickey's (and your mom's)...wow I am jealous.

It really is a neat area - I'm sad and excited to see it go. I've said it a bazillion times already, but I'll say it again - I wish they would keep the houses! They are so cute!

I'm STINKIN' excited about holidays in Florida! They will have to be split with Minnesota for Joe's family, but just to think about doing all that and spending Christmas there makes me very :dance3:!!

Love all the pictures of toontown. I just love Minnie's and Mickey's houses. The small touches that are everywhere. I took so many pictures last year when we were there, mainly becuase I didn't know if the houses would still be there this year, and I still saw things in your pictures that I didn't notice at all. Like Henry, my DS could stay in Minnie's kitchen forever. He rushes through the house just to get to the kitchen. You have inspired me to take even more pictures in less than a month.

There are so many things in those houses to see, isn't there? So many little details! I love that! I'll be bummed to see them go.

How wonderful for your mother!! :goodvibes It sounds like her life is really exciting in a good way at the moment! I hope she will stay as happy as she is now!

Wonderful Toontown pictures! They will be a great memory of this place, once it is gone! Which reminds me that I have read some rumors that the Fantasyland Expasion plans have been changed quite considerably. Supposedly the Pixie Hollow land will not happen, but instead there will be a Dumbo-Circus-land. And the princess meet & greets will not go there either, instead there will be a Snowwhite mine train ride with the seven dwarfs which will be a roller coaster of an intensity between Barnstormer and BTM. The Snowwhite ride will then close and there will be a new dark ride, theme still undecided. The Princesses will still get a specific meet & greet location, but not as elaborate, possibly at the old Skyway station. The Mermaid ride and the Beast's Castle are still going to happen (those are the things you can see best from Dumbo, I think!). I think this sounds very interesting!

I read all about those rumors last night! (on another message board that I think I actually saw you reference on another thread....I think it was you!) I was pouring over it all - LOVING IT! I think the Dumob/Circusland will be very cute...I also think Minnie and Mickey's house could fit in there, along with a Mickey/Minnie Meet & Greet, just fine.....! I truly wish they would keep them. The houses, along with the Barnstormer, the giftshop and Dumbo would be a nice start to a small land. The houses are cutesy enough to sorta fit into the Circusland, don't you think?

If Snow White is open in Feb/March still I'm gonna ride it - I never have! I would hate to see it go before I get a chance to experience it. But not a huge loss to me being that I don't know what I'm missing. We've just avoided it because it's "scary" and with a little one it's not something we tend to go for! ;) The Mine Ride sounds AWESOME. It's going to be all so incredible, even with just the additions of the dueling Dumbos, Little Mermaid and the Beast's Castle.

I also noticed on that same message board they were talking about P.I. work happening! :hyper: I gotta dig more into that, but it sounds exciting!

I'm so happy for your mother and for you guys! It's wonderful that your mother has decided to move to Florida and with the "new" man in her life.

Great Toontown pictures. While I know that Disney has something fantastic in store for us in the future, I'm still sad to see it go. Henry looked like he was having a great time exploring Mickey and Minnie's house.

He really did have a GREAT time in those houses! It will be sad to see them go. I'm glad we spent some time there making some memories being that it might be closed when we get there next. :sad1:

I am thrilled for your mom Brook! My parents also divorced years ago and she is also with someone that makes her really happy. :) It is weird though to say your mother has a boyfriend, isn't it? lol!! Ha.

I love your Toon Town pictures and I am sad that it's closing. My kiddos are older and they still had lots of fun there, especially exploring the neat houses Mickey and Minnie have. They are adorable and themed wonderfully! I will miss it for sure.

We have gotten potato head parts on each trip and have built up quite the supply. Aren't they the coolest?! :) Henry seems completely engrossed in them!

:rotfl: It was at first to me thinking that my Mom had a boyfriend, but it's been over 10 years, and she's had quite a few actually, so now it's normal! She was with one guy for several years, we all thought he was it, and so did she - but he got all weird....it broke her heart. :sad2: I truly hope it works out with this guy, he's been a friend forever, we all know him/like him and I know it would make her VERY happy to be with someone.

Henry loves his Tater parts, we will be buying another box, or even the big Tater this coming trip. I want the girl pieces for when I play with him. ;)

I am finally getting caught up! I loved your Toontown pics! I am sad to see it go... It looks like there was hardly anyone in Minnie's house as you guys went through! We always have the worst luck and it's always packed!

I love the Judge's Tent gift shop!

There really weren't that many people in the houses, which was nice! Last time we were in there it was a lot more busy and Henry didn't get a chance to really "play" - he was younger and I wouldn't just send him in with older kids cramming all over everything. The kitchen is always the busiest, so we had to wait our turns on things there, but it only took a couple minutes! :thumbsup2

We've never spent much time in Toontown....just a quick walk-through last summer. It looks great for young'ns though.

What's up with Minnie supergluing her cooking jar shut? What a rip-off!

I noticed that on the package to Mickey from Peter Pan it says "Use no hooks". I thought that was pretty funny.

It's a cute area for the littles. The park and Donald's boat are a lot of fun too. The only thing I'll miss are the houses though - they are so clever...and to tell your kids "This is Mickey's house" is priceless, their eyes get all big in wonder. :lovestruc

I know, Minnie really needs to learn how to SHARE!

:rotfl:

That is funny about the "use no hooks"! I didn't catch that!

SO excited for your mom! Will think good thoughts for her, that retirement comes before she knows it and that this next chapter in her life will bring nothing but love and smiles! :lovestruc

Is there something about Mickey's house?! We had a emergency pit stop last year when we were there as well!

Aiden has been playing with his "potato man" a lot lately and I already have a goal to get him some fun new pieces when we head down in March. Oh and I found the cutest Cars rolling suitcase for him, he loves it and I figure it can be for all his fun stuff for the trip.

I laughed out loud at the promise of a trip on Mickey's boat. Everyone keeps asking if I am going to potty train Aiden before the baby comes. It's hit or miss with him, some days he is super interested, some days not so much. But he's only 2 and a half, it will happen when he is ready!

:lmao: that is funny about the emergency pit stop at Mickey's! There must be something about it!!!!!

The box o tater parts was a lot of fun to do. I let Joe and Henry play at the Lego store while I went to Once Upon a Toy. I gathered all the parts I wanted and then found a small area that I could wiggle them into the box. I didn't think I had done that well, so I called Joe to come over and try when he could - he is better at spatial things than I am. However, I did better than he did! :yay: We ended up with 27 pieces - several big ones - I'll have more, with pics, on my DTD update in the future on this TR too. There is the big plastic tater that you can fill too, and he about equal to 3 boxes in size, but only costs $40, whereas each box is $20. He'd be harder to fill I think though because of his shape. Oh the planning that purchases and stuffing potato head parts requires! :rotfl:

Exactly about potty training! It will happen. Henry is NOT interested for himself. He likes to watch other people go though. I didn't want to buy an actual potty chair, our apartment is so small, but I just might - and keep it in the living room for him to sit on....

Love the updates! I'm glad you got to see Toon Town again with him so you could get some good pics! I can't wait to go next month for some pictures again. I love all of the details that they put in Mickey & Minnie's houses. And like loritemp, we always had a packed Minnie's house so it was hard to get some nice pictures. I hope it's better this trip!

I hope the houses aren't packed for you! We went pretty early in the day still, so I think that helped. I think RD in Toon Town is around 10:00 am, and we got there around 10:30/11:00 or so.

We left off as we were leaving Toon Town and headed for....

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! You guessed it luvfigment!

But, before we go there - I wanted to share what Joe surprised me with the other day...

Thursday is our 4th Anniversary and we are going to be in the 4th row, center seats at Mary Poppins on Broadway!!!! I've already seen the show, but Joe hasn't, and I've wanted to go back from the second I walked out of the theater last time. :hyper: In addition, Joe got a steal on these tickets! :woohoo: I'm super excited!!!!

Okay, so back to Disney World!

We are here:

And despite the sign for Buzz showing a 15 minute wait, we grabbed FPs

1008150203_tZzXn-M.jpg

1007529617_V3Nk6-M.jpg

Henry really liked these Buzz themed FP machines!

With our FPs in hand we headed over to the

New signs for the new/old name!

1007890388_UYpYt-M.jpg

Henry thought the moving walkway was very, very cool

In no time we were on board
1007817899_qYm2h-M.jpg

Henry LOVED THIS! He sat across from Joe and I and took it all in. He kept raising his hands up in the air like he was on a roller coaster. :cutie:

Nerd pic for GB as we got off the ride

And of course we HAD to check out the "dump cart" just off the ride, filled with Buzz-goodness.

1008068573_eTt2V-M.jpg

And that is when I noticed him.

Buzz.

Doing a meet and greet just outside his ride.

Henry hadn't noticed yet, so I grabbed Joe and we spoke in several spelled out words while Henry played with plastic Buzz Lightyears, "B-U-Z-Z is doing a meet and greet right over there. Should we do it, or wait for B-U-Z-Z and W-O-O-D-Y at DHS?" I asked Joe.

It was a toss up...we were planning to leave MK soon, to get in some relaxing/nap time, but here we were, and there was Buzz. The line was kinda long, but....

"Let's just do it!" one of us decided, so we did.

1008139604_pr43C-M.jpg

It was a long line, but actually moved very quickly.

Our Buzz excited to meet THE Buzz.

Before we knew it...

After a few pictures I shouted to Henry, "Put your wings out!"

1007703457_bfm6s-M.jpg

Henry didn't quite understand why Buzz's actual wings weren't popping out...but Buzz was quick to improvised which satisfied my 3 year old.

1007724899_ETxAP-M.jpg

Henry was mesmerized. Speechless. In awe.

It was awesome.

And just after we were done, Buzz had to take a break. We had just made it, perfect timing!

Here Henry is looking at the Buzz they have in the queue and in his little 3 year old innocence he explained to us that Buzz was outside, but had to leave when we did so he come in here now. It was so stinkin' cute.

1007560681_UXJaV-M.jpg

Before the trip, on my PTR, several of you told me Henry would be tall enough to have his own gun/shoot on this ride and on TSM - and yep! He was! But, for this round, Joe opted to just put him on his lap and let him shoot.

1007369401_h7Akc-M.jpg

Henry's score. I think Joe helped...just a bit.

1007409053_69TeF-M.jpg

And what did Henry find in 2.8 seconds?
1007422051_43Y6P-M.jpg

The blaster gun. Of course!

1007415128_jJznA-M.jpg

I LOVE these Lego sets!

1007855160_CnT3X-M.jpg

I had this game, non-Toy Story Alien version of course, when I was younger.

And then we saw Zurg across the shop (I'm so glad they kept him! Bummed that they took out the other guy, but they gotta keep Zurg!!!)...and as a good mother does, I had my baby stand behind bars with the bad guy. ;)

1007900240_Hdnwh-M.jpg

1007746099_RDmAj-M.jpg

3 years old (and in perfect fashion, refusing to smile or look at the camera). His first pic with Zurg he wasn't even walking yet...!

And then I decided to squeeeeeeeeze between the bars too
1007775099_TZsKp-M.jpg

Looks like he's elbowing me out, doesn't it? He probably was...!

After our adventures with Buzz our stomachs were growling. We were about ready to head back to the BW, but we opted to grab some lunch first.

I went straight back to the Lunching Pad. That cream cheese pretzel and frozen Coke were still calling my name! I had to have the LL Meal!

Hello pretty one.

1007998108_R5a6H-M.jpg

And let me tell you, neither disappointed! YUM!! It hit the spot just right. :thumbsup2

Joe and Henry had gone off to Cosmic Ray's. I found them waiting for their food and nabbed us a table.

1007372710_zWwNq-M.jpg

Joe's selection was a cheeseburger and fries.

1007423253_cCPvr-M.jpg

Really cruddy pictures of Henry's food - nuggets, grapes and carrots.

He's not a big nugget boy, so I ended up eating some of those too. They weren't nearly as good as the adult ones (like everyone has said!), but still edible.

After the bellies were full we headed toward Main Street.

Henry DID NOT want to leave the park. We got a bit of a meltdown. So, as another "Awesome Mother Moment" I bribed him.

:rotfl:

"Fruit snacks or ice cream?"

He chose fruit snacks! So we stopped in at the Emporium.

And naturally, as we were walking past the vendors stationed at the gates Henry shouted out, "I want ice cream!"

:headache:

Ah, a 3 year old. Gotta love it.

We rolled on, without ice cream and with a crying melting child.

It was most certainly time to get out of the sun and in the air conditioning!!!

I had a feeling you would be doing an update right about now. Are all of our little men fast asleep?
I'm so glad he got to see his Buzz. As you were describing the situation I found myself whispering, "just let him meet Buzz" I'm like a backseat mom! I know that I will have tears in my eyes when Brady gets to meet Buzz and Woody. I can't wait for that moment.

First, I'm glad you are feeling better (I wondered why I hadn't seen you on my TR and several others the last week).

Great updates, Brook. I love Henry "behind" bars and we've all had that "Awesome Mother Moment" of bribery. Hey, if it works...what the heck!

I'm glad Henry got to meet Buzz and loved his ride on the PeopleMover.

oooooh ooooooh......you got a picture of both my Alice mug and Tea set!

Sounds like you had a great morning at MK! And better to leave with a manageable meltdown now than an uncontrolable one later :thumbsup2

Silly mom, trying to give a 3 year old and either/or ultimatum, of course he wanted BOTH the fruit snacks and the ice cream! ;)

It must have been a hot day, in some of those pictures Henry's hair looks almost stuck to his head - I think it was indeed time to get into some a/c!

Was the cream cheese pretzel really sweet? I like my pretzels salty rather than sweet so I'm not sure I'd like it.....

Love the meeting Buzz pics :goodvibes

I love Henry's expression on the moving walkway! He looks so very excited. :)

Your lunch looks delicious. I haven't eaten quite yet and that just made my stomach growl. Yum!!!

Loved the update Brook!

Yes, it sounds like you found the message board which I mentioned on MRYPPNS' thread. :goodvibes But don't get scared, there are some people around which are a bit crazy, but there are also some really informed people. :thumbsup2 Need to check out the PI news, I got rather bored with any discussion about this topic because it did seem to go nowhere.

It sounds like you were pretty successful in getting things done you wanted to do: feet picture, Henry behind bars, LL's favourite snack! :thumbsup2

I am sorry that your meltdown prevention tactic did not work out! I guess it was just going to happen whatever you would have done! But for people who aren't parents (like me) this really is a good reminder: you did just the right thing: try to get your child out of the heat and away from all the stimulation in the park - and that is what he did not want to do! :confused3

I love this picture of Henry. So cute.

Your description of you guys meeting Buzz brought tears to my eyes. Non Disney people just don't get how Disney is so good at making little moments magical. Buzz didn't have to put out his arms, but he knew if he did, that he would probably get a smile from his small admirer, so he did it. So sweet. And I love how Henry made sense of why he saw Buzz inside and outside. So smart.

I do love me some Frozen Coke. I can't believe that when we stayed at Pop and they still had the Frozen Coke with free refills, that it took me until the middle of my trip to find out how wonderful Frozen Coke really is.

You know I tried it recently at Burger King, and it was nasty. So this is one of th things I'm looking forward to getting at Disney soon.

One more thing, I love the Zurg picture where Henry is elbowing you. So cute too.

Happy Anniversary! Enjoy Mary Poppins :) We are going next month and I can't wait! :goodvibes

I love the pictures from the TTA. Henry looks like he's having so much fun! Too cute :)

Hello Cream Cheese Pretzel, you are my darling. :rotfl2:

I had a panic attack at work because I couldn't see all of your pictures. I'm happy to say that I can see them all at school. Phew.

What a wonderful MK day!! Sounds like lots of fun. I really wanted to try one of those hot dogs they have, they sound so yummy!

Oh I love love loved all the toontown pics. Thank you so much for sharing them, made me smile and sad all at the same time. The Zurg picture is just priceless!

Yeah...hot and overtired kids don't do so well with the rationalization and/or rationing. Bummer for you though, just when you think you've saved yourself from that meltdown....something else triggers it. n Hopefully the ride back and the road to naptime happened quickly, those can be some LONG journeys!

Another great update Brook.

Enjoy this ability while it lasts. Won't be long and Henry will be able to S-P-E-L-L right along with you.

After a few pictures I shouted to Henry, "Put your wings out!"

Henry didn't quite understand why Buzz's actual wings weren't popping out...but Buzz was quick to improvised which satisfied my 3 year old.

Ha! The CM was probably like "Thanks a lot Mom! These wings don't really pop out!"

And naturally, as we were walking past the vendors stationed at the gates Henry shouted out, "I want ice cream!"

:headache:

Ah, a 3 year old. Gotta love it.

We rolled on, without ice cream and with a crying melting child.

Ah yes, I've been there. It's at times like these when I will look at my wife (or vice versa) and say, "You thought you could win didn't ya? When are you gonna learn?"

I am always 2 updates behind. :confused3

What a fun time in Toontown! We brought Juliana on Goofy's rollercoaster when she was 3 and she screamed and cried the whole time. We thought our 'Parents of the Year' card was going to get revoked! :lmao::lmao:

I loved all your pics from Minnie & Mickey's house!

I NEED this shirt! Love it!!!

Henry was having a blast playing with Mr. Potato head!!!! I hope you filled him up 2 boxes of parts!!!!! :lmao:

I'm glad the diaper emergency was contained!!! :scared1:

I didn't know they were bringing back the Peoplemover??? COOL! Nice foot shot! ;)

Great pics with Buzz!!!!

At least Henry's meltdown was while you were leaving. :upsidedow

Happy Anniversary! I'm so jealous you get to see the show! Enjoy it. :goodvibes

And congrats to your mom too!

LOVE the pictures of H and Buzz! Noah always runs around with his "wings" out too, so glad to know Buzz can improvise when needed. ;)

Sorry to hear about the melt down leaving MK, but hope you guys made it to the pool &/or the ac!

We never really spent any time in TT when we went in 08 b/c DH just didn't "get it" so we made a quick stop in at the Judges Tent and that was the end of TT. :sad2: I'm hoping it'll still be around in December when we go so we can see it.

Great update! popcorn::popcorn::

Your update is bring back sooo many great memories of my DS's first Disney trip when he was 3. Stuffing the Mr. Potato Head box, Holding him while riding Buzz over and over again( and yes we have that gun), the picture of Zurg is one of our traditions, hands up on the "People Mover" always, and the lovely ice cream melt down. Ours happened within 20 minutes of being in Disney. Who knew they didn't have spinkles :confused3. ? All good stuff:thumbsup2. I look forward to reading more. Could I possibly get an exhausted little boy falling asleep right after Wishes? Or a new favorite ride in TOT?

I am sorry I am so behind on your trip report, but plan to catch up thanks to your table of contents at the beginning.

I just read about your next trip in March, and 15 days. That is a dream come true. Over the weekend I made reservations for Feb. 28- March 7, so we will be at Disney at the same time. I am excited about the Flowers and DH is excited about ESPN the weekend.
