Boo to me! - Solo Halloween PTR 10/22-29 - Link to TR posted!

Honestly, I think it only took about an hour and a half, maybe less. It really didn't take that long, since the inflatable things just stake into the ground. We also have some styrofoam gravestones, a couple of things hanging from the gutters, and lights and ghosts on the porch. There are some ghosts hanging in the ivy, too, which looks pretty neat :)

Even that hour and a half...you have to think about them and buy them....I already have Xmas decorations, so I hope that I can swing them this year. I also want a tree which means I have to clear a spot for the tree. I'm looking at my normal spot and it's piled high with boxes. I need to work on that. But first we have to fumigate the house!

Why do you need to fumigate....or should I NOT ask?

Termites, we've had them for a few years now, but with her father being sick and irrational there was no way we could take care of ourselves. Now that he's gone and we're getting ready to rent the vacant apartment we need to take care of it before a tenant moves in. We certainly don't want to pay for the tenant to stay in a motel room, so we need to take care of the fumigation before we put the apartment on the market.

However, it is a BIG ordeal. I have a LOT of food in the house (I have an extra freezer in the garage not to mention a freezer full of food in each apartment 1, 2 & 4) that needs to be bagged up. Plus any opened ointments, medications, topical liquids need to be bagged. It's a lot of work. In fact we will probably end up throwing out a lot of stuff. If you will ingest it or apply it to the skin, it needs to be bagged or tossed.

Alison, if I were in the area, I'd help you decorate :) the only reason we do is because I help my mom. Otherwise she wouldn't do it :lmao: I hope the fumigation goes well!

So it's Saturday, which means it's time for the LAST round of...

Name That Semi-Obscure Character Game!

First to get it gets a point! No second guesses and no editing! Everyone's tied right now, so if we continue to have a tie after this, I have a tie breaker saved :)

Good luck!

:yay::yay: Congratulations to Alison (Franandaj) on winning the obscure-semi-obscure-name-the-character competition.

I would NOT have got Baby Herman at all. So well done Alison (again) :worship:

I knew he was from Roger Rabbit and all I had to do was look him up on IMDB and then Google his name to confirm....

AHH, I LOVE BABY HERMAN! I must say, I fully enjoyed the semi-obscure character game. I forgot how awesome those semi-obscure characters really are!

I checked the score card and the winner is in fact franandaj, Alison! So if you want a prize, pm or email me your address :) If not, let me know and I'll put up the tie breaker for another person to try for tomorrow :)

In trip news, in 5 days, I'll be getting up to get in the shower and get ready to leave! I have to be at the airport by 5, but Webers opens at 4:30, so we're hoping to stop there, and I promised my mom I'd buy her breakfast as a thank you for driving me to the airport :)

I've almost packed my bags, but I need to repack my checked bag and I have to finish packing my carry-on. I'm not going to stuff it so that if my checked bag is overweight, I can shuffle things around.

I got a flu shot this afternoon, and I feel fine, so I hope it'll stay that way. I know people react differenty to the flu shot, and my mom does fine with them, but my dad is a little sick for the first couple of days.

So... Yeah :) I'm leaving this week! :yay: :yay:

They're okay so far, so we'll see :) I'm sore at the injection site, but that happens all the time. :yay:

I can't wait until Friday! It's almost here, and I can't wait!

I can't believe you're leaving in 5 days!!! :dance3: I'm actually starting to feel very unprepared for my trip...like there is a lot of stuff I need to buy before we go! :rotfl:

I LOVE Baby Herman...anyone from Roger Rabbit, really, it's so sad that that is such a forgotten movie in Disney World, it's one of my favorites!

I can't wait! At this time, I think I'll be on the plane to Jackson. Not sure, though, as I'm not sure what time the plane stops there. You're still 26 days away, so I'm sure you'll be fine :flower3:

We loved Roger Rabbit growing up :yay: I'm waiting to hear from Alison on if she wants a prize or not, but I remember her saying before that she didn't want one, so I may put up the tie breaker as a final round later today :)

So exciting!!!! I love that game... in x days I'll be doing x... The part that depresses me is after the trip... Last x I was at x... that's why I need to move to Tampa so I can go whenever I get the urge!

I don't need a prize, so you can go ahead and put up a tie breaker and I won't play...you can just buy me a Tigger or Cheshire tail in June!
