My kitchen is 100% COMPLETE! YEAH!!

The Mickey clock I wasn't going to put up but it was my mother's. She had it in her breezeway and it makes me think of her. The tiny Mickey inside the cabinet was also hers. DH brought the Sorcerer's Apprentice home from his office. He had it there for years, and of course The Michael Grave's Mickey tea kettle is my favorite. The black and white Mickey dishes are new. I have two Mickey and Minnie wine glasses that you can't tell what they are unless you look close. I really miss my Disney Blends ceramic coffee canister that I can't find anywhere, but I have two sets of the mugs. They match the fiesta ware perfectly. The table came today. Its Saloom and its maple. I could not wait to get rid of the oak. The center piece is a gift from my SIL three Christmas's ago.

Oh Dawn it is beautiful!!

Can I come down and start baking? ;)

Yes, I have a double wall oven, a warming draw and I bake a cake about once every five years. :lmao: I could use a baker. I could actually have dinner sitting at our new table tonight...except I am going out to eat with one of my friends.

Here is are a couple more. I feel like its Christmas morning!! :goodvibes

It looks amazing. I especially like the pendant lights/chandelier and the granite color. You see so much black or gray granite, and the sand color is really beautiful.

Gorgeous! I love the Mickey accents, too!

I really love the lights and the tile backsplash too. I'm hoping for new counters and backsplash soon (can't do the whole kitchen right now), and I really love your choices!

Congratulations! The new kitchen is absolutely beautiful. I really like how the beige makes the warmth in the woods really pop. The counter tops are just perfect and go really well with tiling and glass behind the stove. Love the look:goodvibes

Mentioning the Mickey Cookie Jar made me laugh, I have a positively gigantic Pinocchio cookie jar from Fortunoff, glad I'm not the only one with Mickey scattered everywhere. Some might call it an addiction, I prefer to call it charming;)

We did a lot of house hunting before we decided to stay here and now I am so glad we didn't move. The hardest part was finding a house that compared to what we had here. One floor living with three other bedrooms upstairs, an office big enough for DH because he works from home a lot, a pool, a private yard, etc and we couldn't. Selling the house at this end would have been no problem because the company would have bought it. It was just finding one at the other end that we would like as well as here. Now I like my kitchen as well as any I had seen and better than most. ;)

Those extra pictures show more of the color splashes. I love it!

There are cabinets over the sink that open from the sink side and the dining area side. I have my fiesta ware in there and they are BRIGHT! There is more color over all, than the pictures show. My mom would love it. I wish she was here. :sad1: She would have had fun helping me.

The kitchen is beautiful. Do you happen to know what the name of the granite is? I really like it.

I had a couple of areas of uba tuba granite before, which was very pretty to look at but I hated it. It showed every streak, coffee ring and toast crumb. This granite shows nothing. I guess because its the same color as toast crumbs!

I LOVE how the ceiling turned out!!!

My carpenters "T" and "B" were wonderful. I explained what I wanted and they knew exactly what to do. They did the entire kitchen start to finish. They gave me a great price. I ran the errands, picked up supplies, even did dump runs with the cardboard. :rotfl2: They didn't want me to, but I would tell them that I can't let the "professional staff" waste their time on menial tasks. :lmao: There were so many precise cuts that they had to do and they whipped right through it.

Here's one of the wall ovens. I took this just before the bar stools arrived so ignore the little ones.
