How I Survived 11 Days at WDW with a Disney-Resistant Husband **2/20 THE END **

Great pictures! Hopefully the power nap gave the kids enough to get happily through Wishes. I've had that cream cheese buckle and too think it is divine:goodvibes

Awesome update:thumbsup2

We too were greatly impressed with our meal at the castle and really didn't understand all the negative reviews.

Looking forward to more

Sounds like everyone had a good time once you got up to the restaurant. We're one of those people who have had both good and bad meals at CRT - all dinners. The atmosphere and the little show they used to ahve was always wonderful. For some reason the food has been on an every other year of good/bad :rotfl:. Although DH is now refusing to go back after the last time was one of those "misses" again. I'll have to wait a couple years and then just spring it on him.

Adorable pictures!!! I've never eaten at Cinderella's Castle because I've heard that the food isn't so great but I just might give it a try on one of our upcoming trips.

Great pictures of the princesses! I'm always amazed how kids can sleep when you move them around. They must have been tuckered out.

DD and I ate lunch at CRT for her birthday in May. We enjoyed it very much. I had the salmon and it was quite tasty. The buckle dessert was very good too! Mmmm! She was in princess princess: heaven LOL!

Great pictures of the princesses. Ariel is the same girl that we saw when we ate in Norway in January....she was so amazing with my "big" kids....they loved her!!

Looks like a great time at CRT! That chocolate buckle looks VERY good! I love that picture of your MIL, Declan, and Chris that the photopass photographer took - Chris has such a nice and natural smile! :goodvibes

Great shots of the princesses! I still don't get those swoopy bangs they give Aurora though...couldn't Disney find anything less fake looking??:rotfl:

Sara

Your kids are so cute sleeping in the stroller together!

And ditto everyone else...great princess pics! Is it just me, or does Belle look a bit like Sandra Bullock in that last one?

That's adorable that everyone got to meet their favorite princess-- I agree with Chris-- I love Belle! Glad everyone enjoyed their meal. Sounds like you guys had a fun time!

We are eating at CRT for the first time this fall:banana:, your pictures are getting me so excited! Thanks for the great on-going report, can't wait for more!
Erin

I loved the pictures of all the princesses. It certainly makes a great collection for your holiday.

Just one observation.........

Unbeknownst to me, while I was taking my photo of Katie with Cinderella the Photopass photographer took a picture of Declan being cranky on the bench with Chris and my MIL. I would not have thought to do that, but I am glad he did! It makes for a funny image, and helps to tell the backstory on why Declan (and the rest of the family) aren't featured in our photos with Cinderella that night.

Is this another one of those moment? i.e.....another Disney princess somewhere in the viscinity of the family and Chris SMILING????? :rotfl2:

Awwww, how sweet are those pics of the kids sound asleep in the stroller?! :goodvibes

I can certainly understand Declan not wanting his picture taken when he was probably still half asleep, it looks like he woke up enough to enjoy the meal though - you got some great pictures with the princesses.

Your dessert looked devine!

Lovely update about CRT! :thumbsup2

I ate there for the first time last summer - I was pretty nervous because DF and I had paid for the meal, as a treat for his family (7 adults!) and the reviews are all over the place.... but I loved the food! I had Castle salad, Prime Rib and the Chocolate Buckle.. mmmm! when we went it was Cinderella downstairs, then Fairy Godmother did a show with the two mice during our meal :goodvibes

DF & his Dad wouldn't get in line for a photo with Cindy when we arrived! I had to convince them to meet her lol

Emma princess: x

Your kiddos were wiped! That parade is LOUD! Glad they got in a little nap though. Looks and sounds like a wonderful meal in the Castle! We have never dined here, but someday I'm gonna drag my boys in! ;)

Your pictures came out great with the princesses! Sounds like you had a great time. Glad to hear this dinner was pleasant for everyone.

I dunno, looks like your husband was in a pretty good mood. I'm wondering too who he was smiling at????

Looks like a great meal at CRT. We were there in February right before they switched over to the princesses. I think we need to go back now. The chocolate buckle was so yummy! Great pictures with the princesses too. :goodvibes

I can't wait to eat at CRT in November!! Of course I will be the only girl.. I am dragging my boys to it!:lmao: But they are excited to eat in the castle..

Great update and as usual, fabulous photos. Your princess interaction photos definitely make me want to book CRT on a future visit. I just don't know if I want to use up 2TS credits or pay OOP if we are on the dining plan. My little girl would love to meet all of the princesses though. I can't believe they both stayed asleep through all of that commotion and the transfer to the stroller. They must have been wiped out!

We have always liked dining in the Castle. I like Akerhaus too, but there is something somewhat more grand to dining in the Castle which makes it worth it to me. :goodvibes

Great pics of CRT! I am glad the kiddos got their nap in. So funny that the photographer got a pic of Declan being grumpy! It is very cool that you each got some time with your favorite princesses!

I was really impressed too that the photopass photographer thought to take that picture! And fortunately any crankiness ended before we got upstairs for dinner. :)

Love that each of you got to see your favorite princess! :) I haven't dined in the castle since I was a little girl but remember it feeling really special. :goodvibes

PS- still freaked out by the snake. You can bet the lounge I select in Oct will be quite far from the bushes.

:rotfl:

Awww! What a fabulous update! Your kiddos look so cute asleep in the stroller!

It looks like you had a fabulous time at CRT! We've never had dinner there! I totally agree that you can't beat the experience of eating in the castle!

You definitely have to try it at least once!;) It is pricey, but there is no other experience like it!

Great pictures! Hopefully the power nap gave the kids enough to get happily through Wishes. I've had that cream cheese buckle and too think it is divine:goodvibes

Isn't that dessert the best??!! I am not even a chocolate lover, which is why I have *always* ordered the sorbet. However, that chocolate buckle had me at hello!

Awesome update:thumbsup2

We too were greatly impressed with our meal at the castle and really didn't understand all the negative reviews.

Are the complainers not ordering the prime rib??? Because I am a big prime rib lover and it has been fantastic all 3 times I ordered it.:)

And as for the hot breakfast...well, I seriously don't know what you would have to complain about. It was really great. And not that we did...but several people at other tables even ordered 2nd plates. So if you are still hungry, you can get more.;)

We have been there for the little show with the Fairy Godmother and the mice, and now for the dinner with the Princesses. I think I prefer the Princesses, but only because we had seen the show so many times it was getting a bit stale.

Adorable pictures!!! I've never eaten at Cinderella's Castle because I've heard that the food isn't so great but I just might give it a try on one of our upcoming trips.

Honestly...we have never had any complaints. It is expensive though, especially if you are paying out of pocket. I believe it is around $30 for the kids at dinner! Bearing in mind that the deluxe dining plan costs only $20.99 a day, and that gives you THREE TS meals and 2 snacks, I really fail to see how or why people think it is not a good use of dining credits to use it for CRT.

Both for kids and adults (but especially the kids), using dining credits is an great way to pay for CRT.

I have done the math - I could not come up with 2 of our regular sit-down meals that combined would end up costing more than the cost of CRT. In all cases, it made complete sense for us to use 2 TS dining credits.

But on those occasions when we didn't have the plan and were paying out of pocket, it is definitely a steep price tag!:scared1:

Great pictures of the princesses! I'm always amazed how kids can sleep when you move them around. They must have been tuckered out.

DD and I ate lunch at CRT for her birthday in May. We enjoyed it very much. I had the salmon and it was quite tasty. The buckle dessert was very good too! Mmmm! She was in princess princess: heaven LOL!

Katie & I ate twice in the Castle just by ourselves too. It is a great special thing to do together!:goodvibes

Great pictures of the princesses. Ariel is the same girl that we saw when we ate in Norway in January....she was so amazing with my "big" kids....they loved her!!

So glad your "big" kids still enjoy the Princesses...that is why I enjoyed your TR so much. I hope my kids turn out like your DD and her BF!

As for Ariel....she was absolutely beautiful!

As a matter of fact, we have probably had close to 100 Princess encounters in the Parks and Resorts over the last 3 years. With the exception of 1 or 2 "duds" (who may well have been great Princesses just having a bad day), I have been absolutely amazed at the quality and calibre of these women. So nice and kind (even with the "pushy" people  and difficult kids), and always in character. Whatever they pay these women...it is not enough! They are STARS!!!:goodvibes

:rotfl: about the Aurora bangs.

And yes....I have to agree. That was a great, natural photo of Chris. He was probably just relieved that he wasn't going to have to pose for another picture.:rotfl:

Your kids are so cute sleeping in the stroller together!

And ditto everyone else...great princess pics! Is it just me, or does Belle look a bit like Sandra Bullock in that last one?

Yes...they certainly looked cute. Until it was time to get out of the stroller.

Hmmmm.....I never noticed that about Belle. I will have to go back and check now!;)
