Aisle Runners

I am looking online to purchase one and they have spun-bonded material woven or fabric? Another website i found offered cotton fabric runner and non-woven poly runners does it matter which one. My ceremony is going to be at the wedding pavilion. I want to make sure that it doesn't bunch up!

Cotton would be better, IMO. The poly ones tear easily and are really made to throw away. Cotton would be more likely to wrinkle, but to avoid that, use white duct tape underneath and straight pins to pin it into the carpet.

I found this great site http://www.exclusiveelementsinc.com/aisle-runners.html . They have been great with personalizing my aisle runner. We went through probably 10 designs before we got the exact design we wanted and the entire process has been a breeze. I just ordered my aisle runner a few days ago so i don't have any pics to show but i will definitely post them once i have it. They are very reasonably priced as well. HTH

I got a picture of my aisle runner all done and its in the mail coming to me. I'm so happy with it and can't wait to see it in person.

I would highly recommend this site! It's relatively cheap and they did a great job. HTH

That looks really great! Is it supposed to look really shiny like that? I would love to do this instead of paying over $1000 to get that wording.

Thank you so much!! Your runner is beautiful! I'm hoping that we can still get one our wedding is in 2 months!!!!

It is supposed to be shiny like that. It's a satin/polyester blend. It was exactly what i wanted too. They made it 70 feet long and it's in ivory with the writing in our colors for the wedding.

How much did this runner cost you???

I'd prefer not to post it on here but i'll pm you.

I love how beautiful your aisle runner came out and with the roses on the side. :lovestruc I'm going to take a look at that website.

*Sigh* That's so incredibly beautiful!! :lovestruc Did your planner lay it down for you or did you have to do it yourself? Any problems?

Disney Floral layed it down and my mom's friend added the rose petals. She said that after disney layed the runner down, she moved it on her own to better position it.

how pretty!!!

My fiance really wants an aisle runner, so bumping this thread for any recent brides that recently bought a runner and if you could answer a few of my questions:

1. Where did you find your runner at?
2. What width did you purchase? And the length is 70", correct?
3. Did Disney put it down for you, and if so, did they charge you to do it?

Thanks!!

I havent actually received ours yet, but we are ordering ours next week from Event Bella Designs. A lot of other Disbrides have used them, and loved them. I am getting a 54 inches wide by 75 feet long cotton with backing runner with our names, wedding date, happilyever after, and carriage design for $350 with shipping. Im waiting to confirm the length with my planner.... but I know alot of other brides got the 75 foot length and just cut 5 feet off. But I also am waiting to hear back form my planner what location (how many feet in) should the design go. Disney is putting it down for me for $25.

Hope that helps.

I got mine from Event Bella..its was $250 shipped.

Okay, I can't seem to find the professional picture on my computer and I'm too lazy to dig out the CDs...but here are two that friends took.

We had "Happily Ever After" and "June 11, 2011"

We got married in the WP so I had it made to 69 feet long and 45 inches wide
