A wedding, two first timers, and 3000 photos! New update 9/12

Glad you caught up! I was afraid I would have lost some people with the 1000 years that was between updates!

I hope to update again tomorrow!
I started a PTR tonight for our May trip! Can't wait :yay:

What happened to tomorrow???? Are your priorities out of whack again??

Now I will try to read your new PTR also. Man, this school stuff is making me get MY priorities out of line!!!

Hey Beth, I finally caught up with your trip report (getting ready to go back to school is very time consuming) LOL! Great pictures! Can't wait for more!

You must be gearing up to start very soon!

Ok, here come an update here.... and on my PTR

After a fantastic visit with the up characters we headed over to see the characters from Cars!
A few of the sights as we walked over…..

We got up to the front of the line, took all our photos, then Andrea and John got theirs. Right after Andy and John finished the photopass photographer’s camera told him that our (Josh and I) photos had not saved! So we went up and retook our photos

After our visit we were getting close to Fantasmic! So we took a few more photos as we traveled to get dinner
IMG_0382.jpg

Super fuzzy!
IMG_0383.jpg

Wish this had been open…. But at least Josh got to pull the rope!
IMG_0384.jpg

We stopped to get some dinner…… Not the best food of the trip by far, but we needed to eat.

IMG_0385.jpg

Oh, this is the margarita I got on the way over from Primetime 50s
IMG_0386.jpg

It was good, not the best, but good. Far better than the Mexico margarita from earlier in the week.

Josh loved the memorabilia and wandered around taking photos…

I admit I have no idea where any of those things are, they are in that order off the camera though….. so here ya go LOL!!

We watched Fantasmic! As we came out I was so disappointed that they didn’t have any Photopass photographers! We took a few on our camera though!

So cute! I just can't get enough of you TR. Keep 'em comin. :surfweb:

And YAY FOR A TRIP BOOKED!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I'm hoping to book mine soon, but we'll see

I love your pictures of DHS! I may have to drag my crew back for a picture with Mator. Thanks for sharing :goodvibes

I am so glad I came across your TR - and hope that you will be completing it? I made sure I became a subscriber so I won't miss it!

You two make a very cute couple - and many of your poses are just adorable. You remind me of Minnie Mouse pose's ( a good thing ). :lovestruc

We can hardly wait for our trip in January.

How cold was it at it's coldest during the day? At night? The almanac is predicting another very cold winter for January '11... ugh! When my husband and I went last in Dec of '01, it was 80 or more during the day, and 67/72 at night. Was soooooooo wonderful!!!

Congratulations - and many years of "magic" to you both!
:surfweb:

No worries ;) We are happy our little ones still want to vacation with us to WDW! My trip reports will get you ready for 'old' kids some day

First we need kids :lmao:

I hope he adores me, I kinda like him a little ;)

He does like Disney, but he says he likes watching me enjoy Disney World the most. I am so lucky to have found him

Glad you are headed over to my PTR! I am going to be posting over there prob. tomorrow night

The next day we were up less bright and early than the other days, to head over to Epcot!
However, before we departed, Josh and I decided it was time to tell the world that we had gotten married….
As silly as it sounds, we decided to have some fun. I changed my name on Facebook, and we both changed our profile photo to a photo of us back to, facing the pastor, and our relationship status.
We decided to separate from Andrea and John for the day, so Josh and I headed to the bus stop right away!
We had big ADRs pretty early, so Josh and I stopped at the Conch Flat General Store to grab something quick for breakfast. We ended up getting one of the big white chocolate chip cookies! We split that and both had happy tummies as we headed back to Epcot!
Once we got there we headed straight for Nemo! Josh is very accommodating to me. After we rode we headed to explore!
IMG_0398.jpg

We went in and played the games in Mr. Ray’s area, then headed in to Turtle Talk!
IMG_0399.jpg

We then continued to explore
IMG_0400.jpg

We wandered around, and then headed into mouse gears. Before we left for our wedding we had decided as a couple to not do the traditional gifts to each other, but to instead outfit our kitchen Disney style!
We were in mouse gears for most likely an hour and a half picking out this and that! We got towels, and ice cubes, magnets, and a clean/dirty thingy for the dishwaser, and a few other things I can’t remember.
A wonderful cast member saw us wandering around and insisted on taking a picture for us. Oh, and she wanted to see a kiss!
IMG_0401.jpg

And then one of us just smiling
IMG_0402.jpg

This shopping stop is when I found a sweatshirt I LOVED finally, and Josh made me try it on, and wouldn’t let me put it back on the hanger. I wear that sweatshirt almost daily during the winter. It is one of the thickest I have ever owned. I traded it out for the lighter one that I had with me, so that one went back to the hotel in the bag, and I kept the heavy one.

By the time we were done shopping we had to RUSH over to the Coral Reef!

We got there, and Andrea and John were waiting. They quickly sat us at a wonderful table, right on the tank!
IMG_0404.jpg

This big guy was laying on the bottom of the tank right near me.

IMG_0408.jpg

And the turtles swam around
IMG_0410.jpg

Us at our table!
IMG_0410.jpg

Ok, I am drinking a Coral Rita, Andrea has a Tropical Mango Mojito, Josh a Starboard Coffee, and John a Long Island Ice Tea.

More of the beautiful tank

IMG_0416.jpg

IMG_0417.jpg

IMG_0418.jpg

Now, on to the food!!!

Joshua had the Mahi Mahi
IMG_0419.jpg

Andrea and I both had the Lobster Ravioli

IMG_0420.jpg

And John had the Trout

IMG_0421.jpg

I was very disappointed in my lunch. I am from Maine, and should know better than to order things that include lobster, I am never happy…… Everyone else really enjoyed their entree.

For dessert our receipt lists 3 Baileys Jack Mousse and one wave.

Andrea enjoyed her wave!

IMG_0424.jpg

And the mousse was fantastic

IMG_0425.jpg

Josh enjoying his chocolate cigar

IMG_0426.jpg

While waiting for our check to be processed, I took a few more photos of the fish in the tanks.

IMG_0427.jpg

IMG_0428.jpg

IMG_0429.jpg

And so ended our wonderful lunch!!
