Dr. Jones and the Spitting Camel - Link to Alaska Cruise TR 9/18

They are. They are however likely not in the budget which probably looks more like the Oregon Coast with the kids and something less ambitious for just the 2 of us. What though I don't know.

Cool, that should put you near the main terminal regardless of gate.

Cynthia, there are some great beach homes at Lincoln City and Gold Beach on VRBO.com. We have Arbonne retreats there and it is really nice and cozy and right on or across the street from the ocean. Lots of different sizes to choose from.

You were BUSY before that flight! And thank you for reminding me I may need to squeeze in pre-vacation hair/brow visit. :scared:

Can't believe your kids wanted caffeine on the red eye!! :scared1:

Hope the trip was smooth and can't wait for your WDW arrival. :)

That's basically the plan for a family trip, probably Lincoln City as it's where I used to go as a child and I've been dying to go back! Plus it will work out well since Evan will have a TKD competition in Portland in either July or August, we will just head to the coast after that. Do you have any idea how early things book up? I've had good luck with VRBO in the past for Whistler.

It's the Jeff and I trip I don't have a clue on...

They don't get it. Or they frankly didn't care if they arrived tired and crabby, not sure. We told them a billion times we would not have a room right away but I don't think they heard a word. Heck, they think we just walk into places for dinner and it magically has room every time.
Taylor's common sense factor is not operating on high lately lets put it that way. :rotfl:

I swear the E's even realized at dinner not to drink caffeine. Yes, pre-vacation personal maintenance is always a must...but a huge chore and time suck at the same time!

Arrival may be next....I have to decide if the actual flight is an update by itself! :rotfl:

Have you considered Atlantis on Paradise Island? My brother and SIL love it there.

Traditionally we are not big resorty type people, a bit more off the beaten path small boutique inn type places so I'm not sure it would be very us but it does look cool!

Glad you got the hair and brows done!! :thumbsup2

Nice that you got to relax at dinner before the flight.

Love the picture of Taylor with the skateboard. He so reminds me of my son (who loves to skateboard and snowboard as well). Does he buy all of his clothes at Zumiez? That's pretty much the only place my son will shop.

You didn't post pictures of 2 of your family members - the cats!!! :yay:

He used to get everything at Zumiez and PacSun but these days he's all about Urban Outfitters and to a lesser degree H&M

True, I left out the cats! I'll need to post some pics of the boys.

I hate to tell you guys...but my boys are 24 and 22 and they still think they know everything and we know nothing! :rotfl:

Oh I know, I don't think THAT part gets better until they have kids of their own! :rotfl:

Ahhh! Please tell me this isn't true!!

Phew!!! I am exhausted reading all of what you had to get done before you left!!! :faint: That was a lot of running around!! ::yes:: Happy that you are at the airport and finally on your way!!! :woohoo:

Tracy

Tracy!!! :yay: Where have you been girl?!?

usually I am (running on pure adrenaline) but having actually had a very restful low key the night before I didn't really feel like I was running around that much, it was nice!

OMG, I seriously had a couple of moments on the trip where I thought I was reliving yours last year. And REALLY understood why you've left the big boys at home since.
We swear he turned blonde at times on top of it. He had some doozy's!

LOL! It really wasn't bad (departure day that is)

Aww, Hank and Melvin are adorable.:goodvibes

So, not TOO crazy of a departure day. Oh, who am I kidding? That sounded pretty packed full! But I love how insane things get before you leave, and all that nervous energy is flowing. Regular chores are actually fun because you're doing it so you can go on a trip. Okay, maybe that's just me :confused3

Your airport looks pretty nifty. Our airport in St Louis is so dreary.

Awwww. Love the fur babies Melvin and Hank. :cat:
We have Ashley who's a siamese/tabby mix (named before we got her) Romeo whom we just call Kitty Boy mostly also siamese/tabby. And then the stray's that have adopted us and live outside are... one of whom looks a lot like Hank who's name is Fluffy a.k.a Fluffernutter, and the other who's an orange tabby and we call him George Lopez or a.k.a Fat Head. :rotfl:
