I am trying to check in online and would like to request a specific building. I'm staying at CBR and would like to request Aruba. Where can I request this? The only thing I can request in the online check is for ground floor. Is their any where else on this page that I can input the building request info. I know a few of DIsboards members have done this.

Thanks for all your help.

I always call in my requests when staying at the CBR. I'd suggest you place your requests in the order of importance to you.

Your requests need to be tied to your reservation.

A few disboarders have noted they put in "close to transportation" on the online check-in and got it, but I believe it is because they already had that on their original ressie.

Put them in order of importance, if there is more than one and try to be generic in nature.

I didn't know I can do this. :worship: Thank You. How far in advance can I do this?

I usually do it at the time that I book and then call again about a week prior to our arrival date. My 76 year old mother went with us this past trip and I requested ground floor due to mobility issues and we were given a first floor room in Jamaica 41.

I meant to tell you that I have lots of pictures of the resort in my two trip reports with the most recent being in the "Who Knew Choking...." report. If you want to have a look around, just click on one of the links. I'd love to have you come over.

I normally put my room request when I book. This year I faxed it in and I will be calling today or tomorrow as well. I know erquest are not guaranteed but it doesnt hurt to ask

Faxes are no longer looked at; because the computer does an excellent job of sorting out the requests.

It used to take forever for a room assigner to go through a piles of faxes; now they just go to the "round" file.

We just came back from CBR last week. When I booked our trip through Disney, I requested Aruba 51. It was noted on our reservation. I did online checkin and crossed my fingers. I was very happy when we checked in and we got exactly what we asked for! I did notice that on our check in folder there was a sticker that said "Check Requests" or something to that effect.

Thanks, I can't wait to head over.

  I called this morning after I checked in online. I spoke to a really nice CM who said she would try to honor my request but can not confirm it.
I am so excited. A couple of more hrs to go!
