I can't remember - can I see the fireworks from anywhere on the grounds of Wilderness Lodge?

The beach is one spot to watch the MK fireworks from. You can't see them all, and of course you can't hear the music or narration. But you can see many of the fireworks from there.

It's also possible to see them from a few of the Woods View rooms.

I like to go out to the WL dock to watch them sometimes. Since it juts out into the water, you're able to see more of Wishes than most other parts of WL property, which is mostly blocked by trees from seeing much of MK.

Yes, they do. However, it is extremely difficult to time it so that you can see the show while on the boat.

But there are plenty of benches, etc. to sit on while watching the show (and EWP), so it's not like you can't stick around the dock if you aren't getting on a boat.

We were able to see almost the entire fireworks show from the boat on our last trip. It was only by accident that we did this. We were on the boat that runs between Fort Wilderness, CR, and WL. It was really an awesome and magical moment! I highly recommend doing it if you can time it right.

<<<I used to just walk out the front door and watch them from the parking lot. It's a great view. We were once coming back from the MK before the fireworks but we saw them with a fantastic view from Wilderness drive as the bus made it way to the lodge.

We watched them from the beach. It was so nice & relaxing. Also nice for our kids, who are young & sometimes overwhelmed by really loud noises. We were out there for the outdoor movie. By chance (we didn't know about this) we then saw the electric water parade (not sure of the exact name) that came right by the beach. The kids loved it! Then we stayed out there for the fireworks - sat on the lounge chairs. I am sure that we didn't see everything, but it was great for us!

Yes i did see them a bit through the pool & boat dock area. We did have a woods view room and was able to see from our room.

We are here now. From our room we can see all of the high fireworks and the entire water parade!!! Room 614* (left the last number blank on purpose, we are still here!!!)

Just back a few hours ago!! room 5034 had the PERFECT view of the castle and fireworks!!

1) Yes, there is a really good viewing area.
2) Walk to the back of the employee parking lot.
3) You are VERY close to the side of MK.
. . . walk out of front door
. . . follow drive down and to the right
. . . at bottom of drive, turn right
. .. walk across entry road and into parking lot
. . . walk to far end of the parking lot

NOTE: CM's at WL tell guests to do this all the time. People go to the lot all every evening to watch the fireworks. Security does not bother you, and there is usually a guard around there to make certain there are no problems, so you are safe.

Does anyone have any CURRENT photos from the last year or so from floors 5 or 6 overlooking the otter pond? I'm trying to get a good location to see the fireworks from our room and I've seen both 5th and 6th floors mentioned...but this was from 2010 and no photos have I seen. Have the trees grown in to block the view??? Does anyone have any current know how if the rooms on floor 5 and 6 on the North Wing overlooking the otter pond ("woods view") still has a good view of the fireworks? Looking to put in my request this week...

Room 6010 has a perfect view. We were there in February and could see them very well. Room 6018 has a slightly obscured view. A branch covered part of the fireworks.

There is also a small amount of people who get invited to go up to the WL roof to watch. I think they pick a family of the day or something.

Our concierge also showed us you can get a real clear viewing in the hallway leading to the lounge by the elevators on that side. There are windows covered by shutters that you can open. They are near the Yosemite suite.
