12. New Shows: FOTLK, FN, Beauty and the Beast and VOTLM

Hard to believe, but I have not seen any of these shows listed above. On our last trip, we only saw Indiana Jones and LMA. We have a lot of ground to make up!

Pictures I have generously pulled from AllEars (I cannot wait to have pictures of my own!!!):

In the mood to take an armchair tour of the shows at Disney, here are four videos to take you merrily on your way:

Beauty and the Beast
Finding Nemo
Festival of the Lion King
Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Again, I have not watched these as I rather experience the shows in person. I do not think anything in these will bother Lilian, so I have not previewed them with her either. I think she will love them though!! I am really looking for experiencing them myself but also seeing her reaction to them. :lovestruc
What shows are on your not-to-be missed list? If you could only watch ONE show ever again, which would you choose (ones not listed above count too)?

Whew, now that I am all caught up on my countdown, I am going to post the next three Daily Itinerary Cards. I am going to go ahead and post them separately, to hopefully allow for easier feedback. :goodvibes

Next up is Lilian’s birthday!! It is probably our busiest day of the whole week. Good thing we have a rest day the following day. :thumbsup2

Thoughts? I hope we are able to finish FL on Saturday, but if we do not than we can always begin our day there. Of course, if there are any favorites we have to do than those will go into the touring plans too. :upsidedow

What is your favorite treat from the Main Street Bakery?

Wednesday is our relaxed day, to recover from the night before. I went ahead and created an itinerary card anyways, just so I have one for every day. :cool2: :rolleyes1

I did not put any plans for our mommy/daughter time. I want to keep that open as I mentioned before but I am leaning towards going to MK. It will depend on how Lilian is fairing by today.

Thoughts??
Pretty simple day but I think it will be great!! :goodvibes

I thought it was funny that I've seen all of the shows you are looking forward to and I haven't seen the shows you've already seen (LMA and Indiana Jones.) Too bad we can't combine our memories:laughing:

Onto Thursday of our birthday celebration, this is the day we are going to go to AK. We start the day off with breakfast with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Minnie. :goodvibes

What do you think about our AK day? I am bypassing the train and conservation station this trip. I hope we can make it to see both FOTLK and FN but that will depend on how we are all doing (since AK can feel so much hotter than any other park!!).

:rotfl2: How funny!! I would think your boys would be interested in the LMA and Indiana Jones. Not yet?

I mentioned earlier I made our MouseKeeping Tip cards to be left each day. I thought I would post them to see what you all think:

Very simple ones, but I like them. I cut out white Mickey hands then outlined them to create a pocket to slip the tip into. I quickly wrote a handwritten note of thanks (trying to add a personal touch if that even matters).

What do you do? Feel free to post pictures to share! :goodvibes

Love the Mousekeeping envelopes -- very creative. I think they are perfect. Also, I think your plans look great. We are hoping to see Finding Nemo and Festival of the Lion King for the first time this year too.

Love the plans. Illuminations by far is a definite must see and i think watching it as a group on your last night together is going to be perfect. I love love love your tip cards and if I was a mousekeeper I would adore them. I used envelopes that I printed off of the creative disigns board but I think I am going to steal your idea and make them hand made for our next trip. I cant believe you are at two weeks. How exciting.

Thank you Kathy!! I hope you make it to the shows too!! :goodvibes

Thank you Lindsay. Go for it--post a picture of what you make!! :thumbsup2

We stood in line once for Indiana Jones but could only get standing room or something so we skipped it. LMA doesn't have very many showtimes and one has never fit in our schedule:confused3

:headache::mad: I just posted a bunch of stuff and Eva hit the computer keyboard and now it's all gone! :headache::mad:

Now I have to remember what I posted after I put the girls to bed!:confused3

I agree Hope! It definitely is a classic, along with IASWAA IMO. :goodvibes I hope the panning shots come out for both of us!! :thumbsup2

I just read on the Disney site that The Mad Tea Party is going to be closed for refurb during our trip. :( I already knew IASW would be closed but was okay with it since I really didn't like it (or the song) on my previous trip. But no teacups!! :sad2:

We're looking forward to most of those shows and MORE!! We'll be seeing everything on your list except BatB- I just couldn't fit it in to our DHS day and still manage a break in the afternoon. We're also seeing IJ and LMA!

Lilian is a lucky little girl- her birthday is going to be so special!!! BBB, fairies, dinner with the royal family and to top it all off MNSSHP! :goodvibes

Your day of rest the following day is a really great idea. You'll be able to enjoy your relaxing girl tea party and you can just follow Lilian's lead for the rest of the day. :thumbsup2

Your AK day looks great too. :)

Whew, all caught up!

So many great updates!!! Love all your daily checklists etc. I love the VOTLM show since my girls  it so much I  watching them watch it.

I was surprised how popular the Indiana Jones show was on our last trip. LMA, it is true how hard it is to fit into the schedule. It can hold a lot of guests, but the times do not always work for everyone. I am curious why they do not do one earlier in the day. :confused3
