Boo to me! - Solo Halloween PTR 10/22-29 - Link to TR posted!

Wanted to come over and say hi! We will be leaving about the time your plane arrives. I love the pics for day 1. Please do more! The solo trip sounds like so much fun, meeting up with others disers. I need to get all caught up, I just read the last couple of updates!

:welcome: Hi! That's too bad that we won't get to meet up, but that's life :) I'm planning on doing another day of the illustrated itinerary, I'm just trying to space them out so I don't run out of things to talk about :lmao: All the updates are linked in my first post of the thread, since I love TRs and PTRs that are like that. So much easier to read, in my opinion. Enjoy! :)

:cheer2:

I thought you were at work??? Otherwise, isn't it a little bit late/early to be up?

I'm thinking of getting into bed soon!

YAY!

I'm planning on sleeping in on this day, but who knows, I may be too excited to sleep to get to my park for the day...

Magic Kingdom!

If I don't remember to do it while I'm at Downtown Disney the night before, I'll make a quick stop in City Hall to upgrade my tickets to 5 day park hoppers.

After that, the only things that are really scheduled are meals, parades, fireworks, and EMH. I love this park.

In no particular order, these are the rides I'd like to go on at some point. I'm also going to be hitting MK pretty much every day of my trip, so I'll definitely get to them eventually.

It's not my favorite ride in the world, but it's fun :)

I LOVE this ride, however.

This one always makes me laugh with the bad puns.

Classic!

I LOVE the Laugh Floor! The first time I saw it, I was nearly crying I was laughing so hard!

I mainly just want to see this once, for the new show with Obama. It didn't re-open until after his inauguration, which was after I left the company.

Oh, come on. It's Pirates!

FAVORITE RIDE AT MK.

This is fun to sit and relax on :)

It's cheesy, but it's cute and it's air conditioned.

I plan on catching these two parades:

The first time I saw this parade was the last day I spent at MK before moving back to Chicago after losing my job at WDW. I was sitting there on Main Street with my dad trying not to cry because I knew how much I was going to miss MK and he was bugging me to hop over to DHS, and I'm all "NO. WE ARE STAYING FOR FIREWORKS."

I've never seen the Main Street Electrical Parade. My first time ever seeing the Castle in person was when I was 19 and on my first CP. I wish they were running Spectro, because I have some insanely good memories of it from working there (my coworkers and I would dance to the music right by the Christmas shop in Liberty Square), but I'll watch this one once. Pete's Dragon was one of my favorite of the older movies when I was a kid, which is why I picked a pic of Eliot :)

At 12, I'm going to grab a monorail and head over to the Grand Floridian for lunch here:

I'm not sure what I'll get, but I'm leaning toward steak

I'll probably get a snack here at some point:

And I'm going here for dinner!

I'll stick around to watch this:

I'm planning to stay for EMH, and will likely hit up a bunch of rides again :lmao:

Either when I'm too tired or when EMH is over, I'll head back to Pop and go to sleep.

Sounds like another great day! BTW, do you know when the Main Street Electrical Parade runs until? I've never seen it and I was hoping to catch it but I thought it was only running through August :confused3

It's got an indefinite end date, as far as I know, so it'll be there when we are :) I was hoping to see Spectro, but oh well :lmao:

Looks like a great day! I love Splash Mountain! I don't really like to plan what rides I'm going to go on when, or in what order, but I know Splash has to be first at MK this year! :cool1: Carousel of Progress is one of my favorites too!

Neither do I :lmao: I just know that those are the rides I'm gonna try to hit :teeth: I'll probably try to do Space Mountain first, though. Not sure yet :) I like Carousel of Progress, but it's not one of my favorites. I just think it's nice to relax on :lmao:

Ohhh these pictures make my heart hurt! I need a Disney fix soooo bad!!! :sad2:

Oh god, tell me about it. I keep checking the countdown on my iPod, even though it hasn't changed since midnight :lmao:

I just like the COP because it's one of those classic Disney rides...it's one of the ones I remember from my first trip with my family! We skipped it in May so I have to do it this time!

I keep checking my countdown calendar too! :rotfl: 79 days today! :woohoo: I keep looking at it thinking it will magicially drop down to like, 29 or something! :rotfl:

My family never went when we were kids, but such is life. I can't wait to go back :dance3: It's too funny that you guys leave exactly 3 weeks after I do :teeth:

I love the CoP, we always end up singing the song..."It's a great big beautiful tomorrow..."

I don't like MK's SM, I much prefer DL's, much less jerky, not sure I want to ride MK's anymore. I do want to try all the other rides that are the "same" because I want to see how different they all are. I've never been on IASW at WDW....

I've never been to DL, so I don't know the difference between the two, and my dad hasn't been there since he was a kid (he's the only one in my family who's been there). I plan to go at some point down the line, but I don't know when I'll make it.

I don't really like IASW. Blame it on being stuck on the ride for a long time while cleaning up puke

Someday you'll come to CA and I'll give you a VIP tour!
