We're staying at the WL next month and I read about the campfire offered there each night. I didn't see much more information than that, though.

Have you gone?
Would you go again?
What age(s) do you recommend for this?
What does it entail?
Is there a separate fee to do this?

Are there other WL activities you recommend?

:-)

I have actually never heard of a campfire at Wilderness Lodge, only at Ft. Wilderness.

But many of the deluxe resorts do have campfires/movies on the beach at night, so it's possible. I did not see that happening the last time we were there, but it was 18 months ago.

Don't know about a campfire at WL but there is a nightly campfire sing along and movie at Fort Wilderness. The program is free and easily reached from WL by using the FW/WL bus and riding it to the 600 loop. The listing of movies can be found as a sticky in the camping board, however, the list is seldom available before the first of the month. Whether or not it is worth is is totally personal, it is free after all, so the only "cost" is time.

Ooohhh, this will teach me to stop browsing the WDW website late at night! :lmao:

I honestly thought there was a campfire/marshmallow roast at the WL!

Good to know it's close by at Ft. Wilderness. :)
