Post your Disney Dining Plan snack credit PIX here!

I found the chocolate covered banana I had at AK to hit the spot one very hot summer day a couple of years ago. It is even one of the more calorie friendly options.

One year I had several Mickey Bars and dreamed of them all year long until we returned, first thing I went to the food court to get one and it did not taste the same. I am guessing that imagination is far better than any food can possible be.:rotfl2:

Just keep an eye out for any of the carts around the parks. Carts can vary greatly in what options they offer. I know my mom had one of these in Epcot, and I know I noticed it as an option at a cart in DHS.

jerseygal, I found my first one at AK but I have noticed them at other ice cream carts in other parks the last couple of trips.

Half the fun of vacation is trying new things.

Tip, if you share your snacks you get to try twice as many!:thumbsup2

Free Dining has started so let's see some great snack pics and even posts about what people are buying this year with their snack credits!!!

I don't have my pictures on photobucket but I did take a few. I just wanted to share that the last time I went, the Kaki-Gori in Japan was no longer on the DP. I wish it had been, I bought two even though I had 2 snack credits a day to use! I really loved the strawberry Kaki-Gori, and I'm not a big snow-cone fan.

I also got my first Dole whip, and it didn't do much for me. Later on my trip I tried a Dole whip rootbeer float, and didn't like that much either, and I usually LOVE rootbeer floats. The way I see it, for all of you that LOVE the Dole Whip, be grateful I won't block your lines! ;)

When did you go last??I went in October 2009 and they were considered snack credits.

I had read somewhere else that kaki gori was taken off the DP. I'm surprised, since it's so cheap to make.

disney777, I just checked jjohnson's snack thread and Kakigori is still included. Her list is very complete and very useful. It is a sticky on the Dinning plan thread.

You are right, it is cheap to make. Funnel cakes are too. However not all of them are included. Very perplexing and upsetting. :goodvibes

Her list is very good, but, it's only as up to date as its contributors. I think we need to get someone visiting soon to check it out.

ETA: There's also a post in the last page of that thread indicating that they couldn't get Kaki Gori for a snack credit. So, I'm guessing it's a recent change and she just hasn't had time to update the main list yet.

hematite153, nowadays with so many folks having access to the internet and such through their cell phones the information on all threads is much more up to date and jjohnson is so very good at updating. Of course, if they drop something a couple of days in advance we might not have the info. Disney is always 'tweaking' things.

I hope the Kakagori is there for those who want it and really think it will be as it is so cheap but anything can happen.

I know that she does a good job and that the info is close to up to date. I was just trying to point out that I think the Kaki Gori really has been lost as a snack credit.

What is kaki gori??????
And someone post some new pics soon!

hematite153, you may be correct. One never knows. I would just hang in there and see what the next reports are because I assure you that someone will post, many probably, and let us know if it is so or not.

Slightly Goofy who does not know everything even though her students think so. :lmao:

Kori/Gori means ice. Kaki is to put on (as in the syrup in this case).

So Kaki gori is ice with "syrup" put on it
