This may seem like a silly question but how big are baggage carts? Not sure if this matters but we are flying ALB to MCO and back.

We are taking a family trip 9 of us total and our flight home from MCO isnt till 7pm and we should get to the airport around noon after our DDream cruise and planned on walking around and shopping. So I hoped to used a baggage cart to haul things around the airport until we head over for our flight. I was thinking maybe 2 carts for the whole family?

Just wondering if anyone maybe had pics? or atleast knows about how much luggage one cart would hold? Thanks!

I would check with your airline and see how early you can check in. Maybe you can check your bags as soon as you arrive and avoid having to haul them all over the place.

As far as the carts go, I think we normally can get 2 big bags and maybe one small one all standing on their sides, plus one or two smaller bags on top.

Southwest will only accept luggage 3 hours in advance. I am hoping that Disney Cruise Line might be set up with southwest for the baggage check so we would only be dealing with carry-ons

Instead of heading to the airport right away after your cruise, and it will be closer to 10:00 AM that you arrive at the airport, have you considered maybe renting a van and going to the beach, KSC or to Downtown Disney for the day? If that doesn't work, maybe you could look into getting a day room at the MCO Hyatt. That way you can explore the airport, check out the pool, take a nap, etc. and just have your luggge in the room.

Those are good ideas, its too bad they wont work for us. We cant rent a van because DD will be 1.5 so we would need a carseat, I refuse to rent one (GROSS) and we aren't lugging our around. and we are on a very tight budget so renting a room is out too. Hopefully if we can get our checked luggage taken care of the carryon stuff shouldnt be too bad.

Hanging out at MCO for seven hours is going to be extremely boring, especially for the kids. I would definitely consider not arriving at the airport so early.
