never traveled with my babies before. they will be 21 months at their time of travel. we have a side by side double stroller and it wont fit in our overhead, lol. BUT i need it until we get on the plane.

how does it work? we will be flying jetblue and i am unsure as to how everything works. do they take it away when i enter the plane? where does it go? can i bring it with me up TO the plane, etc?

You can use it right up until you enter the plane. You'll gate check it on the jetway. They will give you a tag for it and you'll fold it up just before you step onto the plane. They will put it under the plane, just like checked luggage but in a separate compartment. After you land, they will have it out for you on the jetway (you may need to wait a few minutes for this). You won't have any problems at all - although going through security with it will be a bit of a hassle. They'll pull it aside to check it.

Enjoy! My twins just turned 6!

Is this your first flight with 2 infants? If so, are you familiar with the limitations of which seats you can use with car seats (if you've purchased seats for the twins) and not having more than 1 lap child per row of seats on each side of the aircraft (if you haven't purchased seats for them)? Just thought I'd mention these points in case you haven't had to deal with this before....

Have a good trip!

no i have no clue!!

what limitations are there? we will not be having them on our laps; we are buying them seats.

A carseat may only be placed in the window seat, so you should book Twin #1 in window seat A with parent #1 in middle seat B. Twin #2 should be assigned window seat F and parent #2 in middle seat E assuming your plane is a ABC-DEF (also known as 3 by 3 seating)

On another completely unrelated note your DIS name is MommyofTwinks. For your information you may want to pick a new name since twinks is very common gay slang term describing a young or young-looking gay man (in his late teens or early twenties) with a slender build, little or no body hair, and no facial hair.

We skipped the carseats for our twins. We used CARES harnesses (we bought ours and then sold them on eBAY for almost the full value) and it was SO much easier. We also used Disney transportation exclusively to the resort and from park to park, so we couldn't have used carseats anywhere if we had wanted to.
