I'm late to the game but thanks to your super handy links, I am all caught up. Welcome back Jackie! Isn't it funny how we always have great intentions of leaving early but last minute things always sneak up? I'm glad you got to enjoy a little leisure time, strolling around CBR. It looks so pretty!!!

Sorry you had to forego Teppan Edo (or did you fit it in later in the week?) but it's always fun to have something to look forward to on the next trip. Charles likes it so much maybe he'll make a trip just to eat there?

Great pictures and view from your room! It is always nice to see sibling affection and is amazing how Disney can bring that out.

Charles is too funny telling Chelsea about the cute Italian waiters. I remember going there as a teenager and eating in Italy for that very reason!

Looking forward to seeing if Chelsea was able to see any cute waiters!

Charles will learn the hard way one of these days about taking all the bags to the room before you inspect the room. Makes switching rooms if there is a problem all the more a hassle. I speak from experience....

Did you smell the coconut scent at the gift shop?? I loved that when I was there.

Wait -- you're going in September and October?

Yes, Wigd was able to find it when she was there at the beginning of July!

I am so spoiled this year. It started last Oct. I got my trip since my annual World Waterpark conference was at the Coronado. At that time, I had friends all ready to do a trip in the next year. I upgraded to the annual pass. The trip with friends was New Years.
On to Sept. My DS 16 has off labor day and 2 days at the end of that week. Since I took when my DD when she turned 16 and did the Backstage safari tour, I felt I owed my DS.
The Oct Trip ( trips really )are bookends on the conference again. The problem is the conference is in San Antonio this year. The year of the annual pass.
Oh Yeah, the July trip was a bonus trip. The fireworks, ToT and of course that parade ( that I hear just got extended) was luring me down. So I gave in.

Will look for MSEP.

Much to our delight, our room was ready, so off to Aruba we went to find room 5124.

I saw Aruba and started thinking the trip I went with my DD we stayed at CBR in Aruba. I happen to have the resort map handy ( don't ask ) and we were in 5130. Great location. right by the bridge and pool. Right in between the 2 bus stops but if you could do a straight line through the parking lot I don't remember it being too bad.

Love the Alice in Wonderland quote.

Come on, is ANYONE interested in finding out who this family was?
We got in our room about 1 hour before Jackie, room 5103. We were walking out of our room to go to the main pool for a swim, when this familiar looking man walked by, then when I saw the rest of his family, I knew instantly that it was Jackie. It happened so fast, and totally unexpected. This was the first time I saw a DISer on our many trips to DW.

I am I am. Can I start singing that song... about the not so large orb we live on? I am trying not to have everyone singing it for days.

Beautiful resort! Too bad it was far from the bus stops, but close to everything else!
I love that she trusted your opinion on the waiters. If we wanted to convince Tessa to go to Tutto, all we would have had to do was say that we wanted Teppan.

John and I were in Aruba on our second anniversary trip. We were right across front he bus stop though and quite a ways away from the path across the island.

I just love your car rides..there's definitely always an adventure for you during them! I'm so excited you stayed at CBR, we always stayed there when I was a little kid, so I haven't been back there since 2002. It's funny though, I love the rooms, but I always always ALWAYS get turned around at the way the rooms are set up, it's like a maze sometimes trying to locate your room!
