Don...question...is there a way to edit your post on the new dads and where they are from or do I just need to keep doing what I have been doing??

My unofficial studio (Cinematic Recording Arts Productions) with a staff of one was asked to make a video for our church. We've had a problem getting people to sign up to help with the nursery, so I made this short ad to recruit some more volunteers. See if this would inspire you to sign up and help out:

It looks like we have a volunteer to watch the kids for parents night out at Dis dads meets.:lmao::lmao:

Sure, I love kids. Do you want me to break out the firecrackers or just pelt them with dodgeballs?

How about 3 of my favs:

Indy Jones
Star Wars
Lord of the Rings

Of course, it's never too soon to start them on the 3 Stooges either!

The irony of it was that in between posts I was pulling productivity reports out of the system for my team. Some of those guys are real slackers.:rolleyes1

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Seriously, we are leaving on Monday morning for Disney - kids first trip. :cool1: I have not done any real work the last few days and I expect that to continue through Friday. :woohoo: My wife told me that I already left sometime this past weekend.

I know how you feel. My vacation is in 53 days and I shut down already.

Can't wait to hear about the trip! We'll need a detailed Trip Report. :surfweb:

Sorry I should have qualified they are 11 and 8 so Star Wars and Indiana Jones have been covered along with most of the other age approved movies.

Here is a good spot from my short Bio I guess

I'm 44 yr old Father of two boys 11 and 8, Married 16 yrs to my lovely wife. Live in Southern NH just below Manchester, I was brought up in a Suburb of Boston and I'm a fan of the Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots, not a fan of Basketball.
Things I'm geeky about besides Disney. Jimmy Buffett,Mustangs, Jeeps, Bugs Bunny 70 and 80's Rock.
I started my Disney addiction in 1974 when my parents brought me to Disney on a regular basis. Starting in 2004 I introduced my kids to WDW and my kids have been hooked ever since, we just bought into DVC this June and we are looking forward to many more trips to our Happy Place.

Nice list. :thumbsup2

I would definitely add Goodfellas as one of the all-time must see "guy" movies. Two more "guy" movies I still quote: Stripes and the Blues Brothers.

Cinderella wants to go to the ball, but her wicked stepmother won't let her. As Cinderella sits crying in the garden, her fairy godmother appears, and promises to provide Cinderella with everything she needs to go to the ball, but only on two conditions. "First, you must wear a diaphragm."

Cinderella agrees. "What's the second condition?"

"You must be home by 2 a.m. Any later, and your diaphragm will turn into a pumpkin."

Cinderella agrees to be home by 2 a.m. The appointed hour comes and goes, and Cinderella doesn't show up. Finally, at 5 a.m., Cinderella shows up, looking love-struck and **very** satisfied.

"Where have you been?" demands the fairy godmother. "Your diaphragm was supposed to turn into a pumpkin three hours ago!!!"

"I met a prince, Fairy Godmother," Cinderella replied. "He took care of everything."

"I know of no prince with that kind of power! Tell me his name!"

"I can't remember, exactly...Peter Peter, something or other...."

The Kegerator, Foosball, and shuffleboard tables look new but I'm pretty sure those girls are used:rolleyes:

I guess I should post a quick bio of me.

I am 40 years old. I grew up in northern New Jersey but moved to New York when I got married.

I am an attorney and partner in a prominent NY personal injury/medical malpractice office.

I am a huge fan of fantasy sports, especially football and baseball.

I played ice hockey in high school and still play in a men's league. So far, this year I have probably played in 35-40 games.

I love playing foosball and pool. I have a Tornado T-2000 foosball table in my family room.

I used to play and coach junior football in my hometown before I got married.

Most interesting is my family's business. My grandfather started a business selling movie memorabilia, mostly posters and still pictures, back in the 1940s. My father took it over when he got out of the Coast Guard and he runs it to this very day with my older brother. My father is generally regarded as one of the top movie poster dealers in the world and has been asked to evaluate posters on those PBS memorabilia shows (he refused - too shy). I spent most of my childhood at movie and comic book conventions all over the country. In fact, my first visit to Disney World in 1976 was a vacation following a movie show. They still do conventions and have a store in NJ. They are very prominent on E-Bay (SallyPix).

Sorry about leaving you behind :rolleyes1 Some folks were just chanting "CHANGE! WE WANT CHANGE!"... so I gave it to them. :confused3 :rotfl2:

As for the list... Unfortunately, I cannot grant you the ability to edit the post of the first page. So... we could either:
1.) Keep doing what you are doing and then I could update page 1 later.
or
2.) I can take on the responsibilty to take the requests to update just page 1.
I can go either way.:cool2:

I like your thinking. Here’s a couple other’s ideas that you kids may not have seen (particularly the uncut version that would really be required to get the full impact of the references)

The Princess Bride
All Monty Python (movies, series, live performances...)
Yellowbeard (some of the same Python folks)
Major League (just to here Bob Uecker doing the play by play if for no other reason)

And a couple of other Guy Movies that get quoted down this way...
The Shawshank Redemption
Full Metal Jacket
Raising Arizona

I see you're a Mel Brooks fan.:thumbsup2

Christmas Vacation
Naked Gun
And the most obvious omission of all, Fletch. And for some reason, I've been quoting Clue lately.

Very cool, I still have 40 or 50 posters from my theater manager days (hard to believe ones like Days of Thunder are 20 years old now), I keep wanting to take them out and go through them but don't want to risk damaging them just to put them away again because I don't have a place to put them up.

Makes no difference to me...It might be easier if you did it since you can update it easily and I wont be clogging up the threads :rotfl2:
